Dr. Chammae attended dental school at New York University College of Dentistry and graduated in 2014, going on to complete a one-year residency at Jamaica Hospital in Jamaica, New York. He also completed an implant logistics internship in 2017 with Implant Direct, where he received advanced training in restorative and implant dentistry. He has been practicing in the area for over seven years. His chief goal is to restore oral health and smiles in every patient he sees, and he participates in continuing education on an annual basis to make sure he can attain those goals.

Dr. Obeid graduated from dental school in 1993, achieving his Doctor of Dental Surgery. He went on to acquire extensive training for a specialization in orthodontics at the University of Moscow in Russia and also completed two other rigorous programs: a one-year prosthodontic fellowship at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) and a two-year fellowship for advanced education in general dentistry at the Nova Southeastern University Miami Campus, where he was awarded the American Top Dentist for 2013 and 2015 by the Consumers Research Council of America, as well as the John Tabak Memorial Award for Special Care Dentistry from Nova South University. Dr. Obeids gentle bedside manner and warm sense of humor make him an excellent choice for those who are nervous about visiting the dentist.

Dr. Sam earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from University of Illinois at Chicago after he finished his bachelors degree in dental sciences at the Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine at Cairo University in Egypt. Dr. Sam is a fellow of the prestigious Academy of General Dentistry and has recently earned his masters degree in healthcare administration. He has gone through extensive training in dental implants education to earn his fellowship of the American Dental Implant Association followed by a mastership in the International Dental Implant Association, which only includes the top 2% of implantologists in the country who place and restore implants.

Along with his dental implant education, Dr. Sam has worked two years in an oral surgery office where he has gained ample knowledge and experience to efficiently take out wisdom teeth and perform difficult extractions with minimal discomfort and post-surgical complications. To maximize his patients comfort level while going through these difficult procedures, Dr. Sam logged hundreds of hours of training to get certified in safe oral and IV sedation procedures. He is currently an active member of the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology and is helping patients attain better oral health in the states of Illinois, Indiana and Wisconsin.

Dr. Sam continues to go above and beyond, taking thousands of continuing education courses so that he can always be at the cutting edge of dental knowledge and get you the best treatment options available. Dr. Sam knows how hard it is to go to the dentist and get your surgical treatment done, so he strives every day to give all his patients the best and most up-to-date treatment in the most comforting manner possible.

Above all else, Dr Sam is a loving father to his two sons, and when he is not helping you during office hours, he is spending quality time with them. He is very passionate about traveling the globe and is eager to learn about different cultures and hopes to discover the worlds diversity.

Dr. Abdelrahman Salem has always found great pleasure in helping others achieve their goals in life by giving them beautiful smiles. He values the opportunity and the trust his patients give him to help them make this life-changing experience. He likes treating his patients like family and feels honored when they select him to be their orthodontist. He enjoys treating both children and adults with metal braces, clear braces and Invisalign clear aligners. Nothing makes him happier than seeing the pleasure he brings to his patients after finishing braces.

Every year, Dr. Salem attends courses and conferences to stay up to date with the latest orthodontic innovations and techniques. As a Board Certified orthodontist, he feels it is his duty to be involved in the research and continuing education that allow him to provide the best treatment options available to his patients.

Dr. Salem finished his residency in orthodontics from the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC), where he also graduated with a Certificate of Orthodontics and a Master of Science degree in oral sciences. Dr. Salem is certified by the American Board of Orthodontics (ABO), the highest certification in the specialty of orthodontics. In addition to patient care, Dr. Salem is active in clinical research at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC). His research interest is in three-dimensional (3D) cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT). He has a publication with the title Implementation of ultra-low-dose CBCT for routine 2D orthodontic diagnostic radiographs: Cephalometric landmark identification and image quality assessment that was published in one of the leading orthodontic journals in December 2015.

Lucero joined the Avid Dental Mount Prospect team in 2016 after attending college for two years and finishing a dental assistant program at the Illinois School of Health Careers. She loves the connection our whole team has and loves to see our patients happy with their results at the end of their treatments. You can find her preparing each room for every procedure, making sure all instruments are sanitized and ready to go.

Lucero is married with a baby girl. She has a very united family that loves to get together and enjoy a great big meal. In her free time, Lucero enjoys taking long walks in the nature, traveling, visiting family and watching movies.

Tanya is one of our wonderful dental assistants and has been with our team since 2018. She is happily married with two boys. When she has a free moment, Tanya enjoys shopping with her boys, going to the pool in the summer and watching movies.

Fatima is a certified dental assistant who joined our team in 2020. She lives in Northlake with her family, and she likes to spend her free time traveling, exploring coffeeshops and restaurants, and spending time with her parents and siblings.

Paula boasts over 10 years of experience in the dental field, though she recently joined our team in May 2021. She is here to help our patients with their insurance and financial questions, make people smile, and walk our patients through their dental treatment.

Paula is a family oriented person who likes attending sports events, going on walks and hiking. She enjoys spending her free time reading and learning as much as she can. She looks forward to helping more patients achieve better oral hygiene!

Rachel graduated from Kennedy King College in 2007 and joined our team in June 2021. She has attended every class at the UIC College of Dentistry and is licensed to administer local anesthetic. Rachel has experience as a dental assistant, an office manager and now, a dental hygienist. She treats each patient with the same concern, respect and empathy she would her own family.

Rachel is a single mother to her 13-year-old daughter, Danielle. She has four parrots and a dog, and she maintains an active lifestyle that includes the gym, rollerblades, skiing and her Harley Davidson motorcycle. She was featured in the June 2014 issue of the ADHA magazine Access for her eight years of experience in treating patients with special needs.

Our office manager, Sandy, became a part of our team in 2015. She has received a great deal of experience in the dental field since her graduation from dental assisting school in 2009. Sandy enjoys the opportunity to serve dental care to our local community, and she is very devoted to our patients. Outside the office, she enjoys spending time with her children and going horseback riding on the weekends. She is married and currently has three children.
