I've been going to candler family dentistry and didn't know what I was missing after my visit here today! It was a great environment, people! All women, which is less intimidating and they are kind and cool as well! The chairs are massage chairs and there is a little tv right in front of each of them! Natural lighting from the big windows, pretty decor, everything! I'm very lucky I switched dentists!

So, so happy with my experiences so far! Due to lack of dental visits due to high anxiety, my teeth have suffered the consequences. Dr. Casey helped me come up with a plan, and has been so kind and thoughtful. I had to have two large molars removed, and the first time they wouldn't numb up. After another round of antibiotics and some anti-anxiety meds on board, we got the teeth out today! We were all cheering after. It was such a relieving experience. The massage chairs are lovely, and they played The Office for me during my appt today (my fav show!!). Brittany (I'm so sorry if I spelled your name wrong) is so sweet and kind. She also really helped put me at ease. The receptionist (I'm sorry I haven't caught your name yet) is also very warm and welcoming! I can't recommend this office enough. They have helped my dental anxiety get better and better with each visit. I'm so happy they were recommended to me!

I've always been so nervous going to the dentist. So nervous I would be shaking all over while sitting in the chair. I am so glad I decided to go to Avery's Creek to have dental work done. This is the best dentist I have EVER seen. I will never go anywhere else. All of the staff are great! They actually care about how you feel and if you are comfortable. Hands down, they are the best!

I highly recommend this gold standard clean, professional dental office. Dr. Casey was referred to me by Rockcliff Oral Surgery. I was diagnosed by Duke Hospital as a long hauler of covid, which affected my oral health. Duke told me it was important for me to find a good team of dental specialists to treat the symptoms but not to figure out why. Much research still needs to be done, but there have been many reports of how Covid-19 has impacted people's teeth and oral health. My severe pain was diagnosed as trigeminal neuralgia response from post covid. Dr. Casey treated my symptoms and listened to me . She had the utmost compassion but clearly knew that we are still researching the impacts of post covid on oral health. Dry mouth, bleeding gums, mouth ulcers This inflammation can also occur in the mouth, specifically in the gums. I encourage anyone who has been affected with oral health from post covid -19 or any of your routine dental needs to seek making an appointment with her. Her highly skilled knowledge and dental work are exceptional.

This is the most comfortable and friendly dentistry practice I have ever experienced. Everyone in this practice is amazing and makes going to the dentist enjoyable. I would highly recommend to friends and family.

Dr. Casey is super sweet, but I would not recommend her for any major dental work. Prior to going to her office, I had 0 fillings. After 2 years, I had 13. After saying enough was enough and finding another dentist for a second opinion, 9 of my fillings need to be redone immediately (within a year of the initial work). Even the ones they thought they could save, needed to be redone, as they had not been completely sealed and new decay had started under the fillings. Even the technique that had been used is not up-to-date, and at least 2 fillings had cracked in a matter of months. My new dentist was surprised she would such an out-dated technique and offer a cost break for silver over white fillings. I am very frustrated and in a lot of unnecessary pain having to have all of these redone, not to mention the cost to redo them. Please get a second opinion before having any fillings done here.

I have no idea how this place could possibly have good reviews. This was by far the worst dental experience that I have ever had. The staff was rude, unclean, & unprofessional from the moment I walked in. The gloves used were the black kind that taste absolutely terrible. The woman who began my exam was hurting me very badly. I told her that it was hurting and she began berating me and was not gentle at all. I literally had to stop her, get up, and leave because she was so terrible. I walked out, and didn't even get a call from the dentist or anything... so it is obvious to me that the care is minimal. Just terrible. Update: The dentist contacted me after reading this review. Without any concern expressed at all for my experience or how painful it was, without asking how to reconcile or make anything better, she simply wrote to tell me that I was cruel and for writing this, and that I was wrong.

Left my previous dentist due to billing errors and rude staff. Came in for first appointment and met Dr Casey and Brittany. Felt uneasy going in knowing I needed alot of work done but they made me at ease by explaining the procedure and took the time to answer all my questions. Everything was smooth sailing so far....

Dr. Casey is the best. I went to her because we had the same last name and I knew she must be good. I was so impressed by the comfortable environment, over the top professionalism and skills of the Doctor and staff!!

I went to Dr. Casey with a mouth full of problems. Literally. She has helped me feel comfortable smiling again and regain confidence I had lost with my smile. She and her staff have gone above and beyond to help me get my teeth fixed. Plus the massaging chairs and tv help to relax me while I am getting work done!

This is the Thank You note I wrote to Dr. Casey before seeing a place to also write a review: Dear Dr. Casey, I wanted to drop a note thanking you and your office for taking such good care of me. My mouth (#4 tooth) hasn't felt without some pain for years - who knew? I guess I got used to the discomfort that you have now relieved...what a difference! I do so appreciate your skill and talent as a dentist along with your sensitivity and kindness as a wonderful human being. Wishing you a very happy and blessed holiday. Merideth F

Very Impressive! From start to finish I've had very professional experience. I had trouble finding a place that could even see me today.(I was in a lot of pain) After calling around for service ... they were able to make room and see me immediately. (Thank You!) From the time I got there to the end of my visit I felt very comfortable and in good hands. The level of empathy and professionalism shown by Melainie (Dr. Casey) and Staff is very high. Thanks again!

I am extremely impressed with Avery's Creek Family Dentistry! I had a filling pop out during COVID. My former dentist made me wait a week for an appointment, then spent an hour trying to sell me a crown.... I was in out in a half hour with a new filling at Avery's Creek Family Dentistry. They were very professional, courteous, and efficient.
