Dr. Marion U. Harris, MD, DDS is a Texas native from Arlington, Texas. He received his DDS dental degree in Nashville, Tennessee in 2015. Dr. Harris completed a 6-year dual degree Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Missouri-Kansas City which was affiliated with Truman Medical Center. Dr. Harris earned his MD at University of Missouri-Kansas City in 2018.
He then went on to complete his Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery residency at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. In addition to medicine, Dr. Harris enjoys spending time with family, fitness, fishing, and watching all sports.
Dr. Arpita Judy DDS provides both general and cosmetic dentistry in the Austin area. She takes great pride in her mission to care for her patients and in her sheer passion for general and cosmetic dentistry. She describes herself as being every bit as passionate about dentistry today as she was during her first day on the job, 21 years ago.
Dr. Judy earned her Bachelors Degree from the University of California, Irvine, and due to her outstanding performance and achievements there she was accepted into dental school a year early at the prestigious University of Southern California. She graduated with high honors and earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery in 1998. Dr. Judy went on to complete her post-graduate General Practice Residency in 1999 at the Dallas VA Hospital. During this time she published a research article in the AJO-DO Dental Journal.
Dr. Judy is a member of the Women of Austin Dental Study Group. She carries a number of certifications related to general and cosmetic dentistry, including Oral Conscious Sedation, Nitrous Oxide Sedation, usage of the SiroLaser, CEREC one-day dentistry, and Invisalign.
Dr. Judy is passionate about community service and volunteer work, taking time out of her busy schedule to work with the local non-profit Manos de Christo. She has a husband, Rob, whom she met in 1998 and is a practicing orthodontist, and a lovely daughter, Naya, who loves to come and visit mom at work and enjoys a sugar-free lollipop now and again. Like all the other dentists at Avery Ranch Dental, Dr. Judy has a driving passion for dentistry and a mission in life to help others in need. She cares deeply about her patients and takes the time to treat each one as though they were a member of her own family. Dr. Judy works very hard to make sure that everyone in her chair gets the care and personalized dentistry they deserve.
Dr. Thomas Nguyen is a native Texan and was raised in Austin. He obtained his undergraduate degree at University of Texas at Austin, where he majored in Neurobiology. He then earned his DDS at the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine in Buffalo, New York. Following his dental education, Dr. Nguyen relocated to New York, New York, and completed additional training as a General Practice Resident at Bellevue Hospital. While there, Dr. Nguyen gained advanced clinical and didactic training in general dentistry with intensive hospital experience.
Dr. Nguyen believes that a successful doctor-patient relationship is built on honesty, trust, and communication. He enjoys providing comprehensive care to his patients of all ages and treating others the way he would want to be treated.
Dr. Patton was born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas. He attended the University of Texas at Austin and graduated with a BA degree in microbiology in 1971. He and his family moved to Lexington, Kentucky in 1972. He obtained an MS degree in microbiology from the University of Kentucky in 1975. Michael decided dentistry was his passion, moved to Louisville in 1975 and received his DMD degree from the University of Louisville in 1979. It was then on to specialty training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston, Texas, where he received his certificate in 1983. He entered private practice in Austin in 1983 where he has practiced ever since. Michael also completed an MBA with an emphasis in Healthcare Management from Texas Tech University in 2007.

Dr. Patel gave me a beautiful smile! I'm afraid of the dentist and they go above and beyond to help me not be scared. Got my cleaning today with Kristina and she was Awesome. Another cleaning and this time it was Karrie with a K. She took the time to listen to me AND super funny. I met Cynthia today during a filling. Not only was she pleasant and kind, but without knowing it, she edified and encouraged me. In this insane world, it still possible for a complete stranger to save your life. Thank you for the part you played in saving me Cynthia.

I had the opportunity of having kerri as my hygienist today. I so enjoyed chatting with her and she was such a good professional hygienist. Kerri my took wonderful care of me. Avery Ranch Dental has always been very professional very well led and the front office, as well check out, left me with the impression they all love their jobs.

This morning my husband went for a crown that came off. I spoke to someone in the office & she quoted roughly $600 for services for an otherwise $1500 fee. This was due to my PPO dental coverage. What fee is my husband forced to pay upon leaving? $1237 - great communication?? You ask yourself is this great service? I'll leave that decision up to you. Always something when he goes there.

I've been going here for many years and have had a consistently great experience. My current hygienist, Julie, is wonderful and detailed! It sounds odd, but my most recent dentist appointment was the highlight of the day for me. I like that you can communicate with the front desk over text, their checkout processes are optimized to the extent possible. They do put technology to good use and their staff is always pleasant.

My hygienist Violeta and Dentist, Dr. Judy were amazing. They listened to my concerns and answered all my questions. Violeta took the time to communicate some things to Dr. Judy that I mentioned to her during my cleaning, that I did not think would be of consequence. They were and I am so grateful that she mentioned them. She also helped my practice my Spanish while I was there .

The entire office is top notch. However, Dr. Judy and her tech are ABSOLUTELY the best! I have a severe phobia, and Dr. Judy is understanding, calming, and does everything to help me feel comfortable. PLUS, I never feel like she's rushing. Honestly can't say enough about her professionalism, understanding nature,and calming presence. ...she's also just an amazing dentist!!

Just wanted to share my experience coming here. The office looks small from the outside, but man its massive inside, with a ton of rooms. The Assistants are all very nice. My dentist was very nice and pleasant. They did a great job working on my teeth, I was there a couple of times for work that needed to be done. They were upfront with what was covered and not covered, no surprise bill, thank you for that! However, my experience coming here made me feel like I was at a car dealership and I needed to buy services. I know I have terrible teeth but I didn't want to be hooked on a 2 year plan of fixing everything. They didn't push it, but just didn't feel right for me, so I'm most likely not coming back.
