Dr. Marion U. Harris, MD, DDS is a Texas native from Arlington, Texas. He received his DDS dental degree in Nashville, Tennessee in 2015. Dr. Harris completed a 6-year dual degree Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Missouri-Kansas City which was affiliated with Truman Medical Center. Dr. Harris earned his MD at University of Missouri-Kansas City in 2018.
He then went on to complete his Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery residency at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. In addition to medicine, Dr. Harris enjoys spending time with family, fitness, fishing, and watching all sports.
Dr. Arpita Judy DDS provides both general and cosmetic dentistry in the Austin area. She takes great pride in her mission to care for her patients and in her sheer passion for general and cosmetic dentistry. She describes herself as being every bit as passionate about dentistry today as she was during her first day on the job, 21 years ago.
Dr. Judy earned her Bachelors Degree from the University of California, Irvine, and due to her outstanding performance and achievements there she was accepted into dental school a year early at the prestigious University of Southern California. She graduated with high honors and earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery in 1998. Dr. Judy went on to complete her post-graduate General Practice Residency in 1999 at the Dallas VA Hospital. During this time she published a research article in the AJO-DO Dental Journal.
Dr. Judy is a member of the Women of Austin Dental Study Group. She carries a number of certifications related to general and cosmetic dentistry, including Oral Conscious Sedation, Nitrous Oxide Sedation, usage of the SiroLaser, CEREC one-day dentistry, and Invisalign.
Dr. Judy is passionate about community service and volunteer work, taking time out of her busy schedule to work with the local non-profit Manos de Christo. She has a husband, Rob, whom she met in 1998 and is a practicing orthodontist, and a lovely daughter, Naya, who loves to come and visit mom at work and enjoys a sugar-free lollipop now and again. Like all the other dentists at Avery Ranch Dental, Dr. Judy has a driving passion for dentistry and a mission in life to help others in need. She cares deeply about her patients and takes the time to treat each one as though they were a member of her own family. Dr. Judy works very hard to make sure that everyone in her chair gets the care and personalized dentistry they deserve.
Dr. Thomas Nguyen is a native Texan and was raised in Austin. He obtained his undergraduate degree at University of Texas at Austin, where he majored in Neurobiology. He then earned his DDS at the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine in Buffalo, New York. Following his dental education, Dr. Nguyen relocated to New York, New York, and completed additional training as a General Practice Resident at Bellevue Hospital. While there, Dr. Nguyen gained advanced clinical and didactic training in general dentistry with intensive hospital experience.
Dr. Nguyen believes that a successful doctor-patient relationship is built on honesty, trust, and communication. He enjoys providing comprehensive care to his patients of all ages and treating others the way he would want to be treated.
Dr. Patton was born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas. He attended the University of Texas at Austin and graduated with a BA degree in microbiology in 1971. He and his family moved to Lexington, Kentucky in 1972. He obtained an MS degree in microbiology from the University of Kentucky in 1975. Michael decided dentistry was his passion, moved to Louisville in 1975 and received his DMD degree from the University of Louisville in 1979. It was then on to specialty training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston, Texas, where he received his certificate in 1983. He entered private practice in Austin in 1983 where he has practiced ever since. Michael also completed an MBA with an emphasis in Healthcare Management from Texas Tech University in 2007.
