At Avenue Family Dentistry, we look forward to providing dental care to you and your entire family. Husband and wife team, Dr. Paul Perez and Dr. Elizabeth Crapanzano, offer patients everything from dental cleanings and exams to porcelain veneers and dental implants, as well as the advantage of a team approach to dentistry.
In addition, we provide teeth whitening, fillings and bonding, dental crowns, bridges, extractions, and even Invisalignall in the same office. We believe that everyone deserves a healthy mouth and a beautiful smile, and we will do our best to ensure that for all our patients by providing exceptional care. At Avenue Family Dentistry, we put our patients above all else, and we work hard to make sure they feel safe, secure, comfortable, and happy with all the treatment we provide. We welcome each and every patient as though they are part of the family.
Dr. Paul Perez is a New Orleans native through and through. Dr. Perez was a Jesuit Blue Jay and a member of the Louisiana State University Tiger Band. Prior to starting dental school, Dr. Perez obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences. He graduated with a Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the Louisiana State University School of Dentistry. Dr. Perez was awarded the Robert F. Eastman Memorial Award for excellence in Operative Dentistry and Biomaterials at graduation. Dr. Perez is an active member of the American Dental Association, Louisiana Dental Association, and New Orleans Dental Association. Dr. Perez has been awarded the honor of being one of New Orleans top dentists in 2014, 2015, and 2016. Dr. Perezs weekend hobbies include watching the Saints and LSU play football, cooking good meals, and spending time with his family.
Dr. Elizabeth Crapanzano was born in New Orleans and raised on red beans and rice. She graduated with a Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the Louisiana State University School of Dentistry. Prior to starting dental school, she attended Loyola New Orleans where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Graphic Design. She continued her education at the University of New Orleans where she received her Masters in Business Administration in Health Care. Dr. Crapanzano is an active member of the American Dental Association, Louisiana Dental Association, and New Orleans Dental Association. Dr. Crapanzanos weekend hobbies include boating, cooking good meals, and spending time with her family.
Dr. Perez is an excellent dentist. He is fast, efficient, and painless! He has made my teeth look great without over-recommending treatments. I have been to many dentists and he is hands down the best in New Orleans. His staff is great too- Darlene, Carrie and Amanda. They are all friendly and great at what they do. My whole family goes to Dr. Perez and you should too!!

I have gone to Dr. Perez for about five (5) years now, and I always have a wonderful experience with Dr. Perez and Brooke. I would highly recommend Avenue Family Dentistry to my family and friends.

Everything was fine except communication about the bill. They told me they have 98% accurate estimation on the bill but apparently they didn't mean the price that they gave me at my checkup. I received the real price after I got my fillings done which was twice what they had told me.

I highly recommend Avenue Family Dental. My experience there was great. Every doctor I have interacted with has been so nice and they explained my treatment options clearly and really tried to help me. I will be a patient here for a long time!

Had my first visit to Avenue Family Dentistry this morning upon a recommendation from a friend. I couldn't have been more pleased with the service provided. Dr. Perez and his staff were awesome and very efficient. The new facility is beautiful with state of the art equipment.

I've been going to Avenue Family Dentistry for over four years. This was the first time I had an issue other than a regular cleaning/check-up. The service was just as fantastic as it always is. The staff are always friendly, helpful, and professional. When this "emergency" issue came up, I was able to get into the office almost immediately, even though it was during the week between Christmas and New Years'. The dentist on duty took the time to address the problem instead of referring me to a specialist. Dr. Perez then did a follow-up to make sure the problem had been solved. Finally, I always enjoy seeing Dr. Perez and his staff simply because they're good people. Dr. Perez is doing a great job taking care of his patients, not only through his dental work, but also by providing a clean, hospitable environment and making sure that his patients are cared for in emergencies. I highly recommend Avenue Family Dentistry.

Fantastic! How often can you say that about a dental visit? Avenue Family was recommended by my new ortho. The entire staff is friendly and efficient. The office is beautiful. And I received the most thorough yet gentle cleaning for a super reasonable price. I had some sensitivity in my lower gums and the hygienist put some numbing ointment on, which helped immensely. Highly recommend!
