Dr. Vikas Puri is a board certified periodontist. Dr. Puri completed his dental degree from a well reputed college in India. After finishing his dental degree, he joined the department of Oral and Maxillofacial surgery as a house surgeon and practiced general dentistry in India.
Dr. Puri entered the graduate periodontics residency program at the Indiana University School of Dentistry where he received a Masters of Science in Dentistry (MSD) Degree, and a Certificate of Periodontics and implantology and a Minor in Oral Pathology and oral Medicine. Dr. Puris research was related to the role of salivary toll like receptors 2 and 4 modulation in the innate immune response to chronic periodontitis; his research was published in the Journal of Periodontal Research. He also performed a case series to examine the efficacy of stem cell incorporation in allograft. In 2013, he was elevated to Diplomate status by the American Board of Periodontology. Board certification is reserved for an elite group of periodontists who have made significant achievements beyond the mandatory educational requirements of the specialty. Dr. Puri was practicing in a very contemporary and progressive periodontal practice in columbus ohio. Dr. Puri Lectures on various topics such as Contemporary soft tissue grafting, Periodontal regeneration, full mouth rehabilitation with dental implants, laser dentistry, and Periodontally accelerated osteogenic orthodontics in local dental societies and hygiene study clubs.
Dr. Puri is actively involved in a number of professional organizations, including the American Dental Association, American Board of Periodontology, American academy of periodontology, Ohio state dental society, and the Midwest Society of Periodontology. Outside of caring for patients, Dr. Puri enjoys traveling, likes to play tennis, cricket, and watching football.
Destiny has been our lead hygienist for 4 years and she truly is a gem to dentistry and our office! Destinys kind, skilled and gentle care for her patients is unmatched. She is an amazing hygienist, a loving mom to two beautiful daughters and a friend to all. She enjoys spending time with her family including her husband, 2 daughters, 2 Chihuahuas and cat. She loves exploring our beautiful Washington State! We are all so lucky to have such a great provider here at Avenue Dental Care!
Chelsea has been our skilled treatment coordinator and office manager for 4 years. Not only is she a beautiful smile to see on your way in and out but she helps our patients navigate the complexities of their insurance. Chelsea keeps busy at home with her husband and spunky 3 year old daughter! She has a passion for a natural and healthy lifestyle. Ask her about her favorite natural product brands!
Maddy is our friendly and sweet front desk receptionist and transaction coordinator. We are so thankful that she helps our patients understand their insurance coverage. Maddy loves interior design and is a big fan of Rae Dunn you may find her roaming the isles of TJ Maxx looking for her next deal! She is close with her family including her amazing cat, Poppy who can play fetch!
JJ is one of our beloved assistants that just makes the day better by being in the office! She assists with simple and complex All On Four Implant and oral surgery procedures alike with ease making our patients comfortable and happy! JJ is continuing her education in perusing her career to be a dental hygienist. She is a loving mother of 2 and enjoys exercising, spending time with her family and friends!
Katey has been our hygienist for 2 years providing gentle, kind and thorough patient care. Katey has a passion for helping patients with dental anxiety to overcome their fears and to be confident in the dental office. She is recently married and had a wedding on the beach in Cancun. She is now expecting her first baby in December a baby girl!
Janey has been a highly skilled lead dental assistant with us for over eight years but has worked in the dental field prior to Avenue Dental Care. Janey is an essential part of our team offering multifaceted assistance; from scheduling to assisting in some of our offices most complex All On Four and oral surgery cases and everything in between! Janey is passionate about dentistry and providing the best care for our patients.
We at Avenue Dental Care have been lucky to have our wonderful assistant Ina for over 13 years. Ina takes initiative and does so much for our office behind the scenes. She has become an insightful leader in making our dental office run smoothly and well. Ina also provides exemplary patient care with her in depth knowledge and expertise in the dental field. Ina loves to spend her free time teaching at her church and cooking amazing food in the kitchen. We love our wonderful Ina!
Our valued assistant of one year has become an essential part of our team. She has quickly become a helpful asset to every part of our dental office; from offering expert assistance with complex implant and oral surgeries to providing nitrous gas to make our patients more comfortable. Julie has become such a wonderful addition to the Avenue Dental family. Julie loves her husband and two sons, exercising and being active in her church.

Marysville during recent office transition. Friendly staff, accommodating me to make unplanned appointment and quick check in. Excellent dental service for addressing an aching tooth with a needed crown performed. Clear explanations and anwering my questions of what is the issue, what is being done and how by dental assistant Lucy and Dr. Sachdev. For this quality of care and treatment I highly recommend Dr Sachdev.

It's a welcoming atmosphere for all kinds. You will get an Encyclopedia of info to the warmest hearts. You will understand once you visit. Everyone there is so kind. They will let you know exactly what you are getting for what cost. No pressure. They make it easy and no hassle. Gentle! Big thing they are gentle!

I am not a patient currently but they were the only dentist open past 6 and my daughter was complaining about her loose tooth hurting. The woman (sorry I didn't get the name) that answered the phone was very polite and helpful despite being a random call, very impressed and grateful for the help.

The dentist, dental assistant, and dental hygienist are all really great. They didn't scorn me for having poor oral health habits. They were very sympathetic and understanding towards my past trauma and current situation involving unfair treatment from other people. They dental hygienist was talking to me as if we were good friends and being very supportive and compassionate towards my current uncomfortable situation. If looking for a great practice, I highly recommend Avenue dental care Arlington. They do not push you into treatment you don't need like what happened at the last place I went. Even the staff at the desk is really great and compassionate. They are all compassionate and very sympathetic. Everyone is just as frustrated as me that my permanent crown is taking a long time to come back from the lab. If you want great care and compassionate staff, come here

I've grown up with dental anxiety, where I cannot go without valium. The relationship I've built with the staff here, has been incredible. This last appt I didn't have time to take a valium and the Dr knew that. She's so fantastic with me, and made sure I was absolutely comfortable.
