I just left my appt ..when say black ppl stop going here ..This place is the worst they can careless about improving or preventing ur dental issues or the community the love to serve 40 yrs pls its merely a business and it shows ..basically its way for the middle man e.g the dentist to make money before being referred to the oral surgeon...the treatment coordinator is the rudest most vile person ive come across in my entire life and i am a new yorker born and raised ...she will be the demise of this whole establishment..The entire staff as whole are very cold and dismissive . I called my insurance immediately and told them about my experience and informed my mom and aunt we will be looking for a new dentist .the whole experience was just cold and uninviting. The dentist seems like he doesn't wanted to be bothered with the class of ppl in the neighborhood as of they are dirty and insignificance just absolutely horrible experience

This place is unbelievable. Scammed my grandmother out of $700 plus, and they're asking for an additional $3000. Waited until AFTER her procedure was finished to tell her that they no longer accept her insurance. They should be ashamed of themselves to do that to a customer who has been going to this office for years. This is so disgusting for them to try and scam elderly minorities in an area full of West Indian immigrants! Please attend appointments with your elderly loved ones to make sure they don't scam them out of their pension as well!

Just by the telephone conversation, I felt better about going there this Monday. I've been through horrible experiences at other Dental Offices due to non-transparancy. This office's management personnel's professionalism over the phone convinced me that I possibly can trust again. I can't wait to meet the Team.

Worst place ever. I went there today for cleaning and Dr. Rosen (Jamie S. Rosen D.D.S.) was rushing like he had something else to do or he didn't want to clean my teeth. If I could give this place 0 star, I would give it to them, because one star is too much for me to give them. I will call my insurance today to change my dentist. Today was my second time going there. The first time that I went there, Dr. Rosen (Jamie S. Rosen D.D.S) was really nice and he cleaned my teeth very nice. But, today I went there, he didn't even greet me and he didn't even take his time to clean my teeth. He came all mad and stuff and told me, "I told you to take the back tooth out." He gave me a referral and he told me, I have to take the back tooth out. When I got home, the paper said I have to take 3 teeth out, but he told me it was only one which is the wisdom teeth but the paper said 3, when I only have to take just my wisdom tooth out. I could save my wisdom teeth but the place charged me too much to save it. That's why, I said I rather take it out. You guys are the worst. I was about to sue Dr. Rosen though cause he almost broke my bottom teeth. He was rushing with a sticky attitude. Don't go there guys. Trust me, you will regret. Today was my second time going there and it will be my last time. You guys should do better. UNPROFESSIONAL AMD RUDE.

I've got to say this is the best dentist visit I had in recent years, It did not take long for me to get seen after I completed some paperwork. Dr. Chang and his dental assistant were very professional and had constant communication between each other , He went over my x-ray's explaining what was being shown and which teeth need to be worked on first and etc. The best part about the whole visit is how Dr. Chang would go over on the teeth he worked on making sure it's perfect as can be and not just trying to do the job fast. He even did more work on my teeth for a single visit which I can't thank him enough for. The whole staff there is very nice and enjoyable to talk with in passing time. Will be going back here more often.

Staffing was friendly very professional. Dentist dr. Chang made me feel relax also his assistant. Did not wait very long had 10:00 appointment. Receptiontionst was kinda getting on my nerves.

Had an unpleasant encounter at this office yesterday, but I won't hold it against them, the rude lady seems new, I'd never seen her there before and I've been going to this office for quite a few years. (The old staff is great) Dr. Hild is excellent! He's truthfully the reason I continue to go here, even though it's far from my house. He's so personable and professional, he explains what he's going to do before he does it, putting you at ease and always has great insight on how to keep your teeth and gums healthy. If you're looking for a Great Dentist in brooklyn, He is it.

I had a tooth filling done at Avenue D dential the dentist he filled it too close to my nerve I've been having pain since he filled it I went to a second dentist for 2nd opinion he said HE filled to close to my nerve. I change my dentist And now I need a root canal and this has been a good tooth....I haven't had pain over 10 years since Avenue D dential touch my tooth. I did go back to tell them I was in pain and I felt like that they brushed me off and didn't take care of my situation that they must mess up on...

Greetings I wrote something about this dentist before my visit. We all got our fear in life. Dentist is mine. I tell you I went to this dentist I have never in my time visit a dentist like this. All the staff is friendly. But the dentist that work on me is Dr. W, or I call him Wonderful, this dentist is Great. He talks to you and let you know what's he doing. He tells you he's giving you a needle and you don't even feel it. So if you have that fear I recommend this dentist.... Peace

PainShouldNotBeIgnored following up with my cavities December 2020 I had DR.K he examined me he did 2 fillings on 2 teeth molar he numb me I still felt a bit of pain from the drilling..I trusted my health in his hands so I didn't think of much. January I've been having sever pain on the right side of my mouth, can't sleep my head hurts on my right side so bad I haven't ate in 4days.Hurts when I talk or try to close my mouth, I've decided to call make appt I told receptionist ann, its an emergency i have to come in due to previous fillings she made me an appt which would've been 19th of Jan, the 6th of January that morning nothing seems to feel better its getting worst, I did walk in..I told her its an emergency she replied the doctors can't see you right now its busy,I've waited patiently in the waiting room. i need to see whats wrong. Dr .held who also work there, he came out to talk but due to what I was saying , he brung me inside away from patients not to hear.dr k came in examined me he came in with attitude already throwing stuff on the floor, told me open my mouth I proceed to do so he suggested I bite down on the metal thing I screamed loud because its so sensitive it hurts, he looked at me with a look saying you don't have to yell/scream like that,& left out the room...when he walked back in I expressed myself like any patient would,I felt like any professional shouldn't treat their patients like that, dr held came &examined me he said its nothing he could've done but numb around the area give me antibiotics, because now my nerves, I have to do further procedure on my teeth now, so then I went home thinking the numb would last &pills i can't eat nor sleep,I decided to go back there, I told them it didn't work that I would not leave until I find answers see what happened,dr.held was talking to me, said its nothing we can do,you would have to see specialist, dr.k never came out the back room,im devastated ,they can see how much pain I'm in. i called police due to them false claiming saying im harassing them them not giving me my medical records when I asked.I have videos prove I've been cooperative.comes to find out when the officers came thats when I found out I was banned,the officer gave me info,the office was closing so I had to leave.I called my insurance company told them situation I've made 3+ more complaints they also looked for me a dentist nearbyscheduled an appt the next day I went to my appt it was at 2pm ,they called me to do x-ray I couldn't bite down so painful, I explained to them what happened previous dental she told me she would love to help me but she can't do it if anything was to go wrong, I would have to go back to the previous dental, she stated she can do cleaning etc. told me I should go to hospital..later on that day I called ambulance came to my home and got me sat in the truck ,I explained what happened they said there's no 24 hr dental if I was to go to emergency room only thing they would have done gave me pain killers, they suggested I go to emergency clinic during business hrs,I waited till the morning at 10 went to clinic I explained gave me 3 Tylenols, the afternoon receiving a shot for katorelex for pain on my right arm suggested I call the dentist Monday being thats its Saturday to request my medical records from dentist who did my fillings and get it faxed to them until the referral goes through...I received a call to attend kings county dental clinic on the 13th I went for them to say nothing they could do..I went back to the place im banned from because at this point idk what to..Ann saw me gave me problems I was being respectful.black lady came that do medicaid referred me 2 oral surgeon,called right away none accepted my insurance, thats when i went outside called my medicaid insurance, I found dental that accepted my insurance. I received a letter 2/10/2021 from dentaquest regarding my complaint on jan 7 they contacted Anne receptionist regarding my complaint & I was not satisfied what she said , but to end this note I do have to get root canal/ extraction

I have been going to avenue d dental since I was 4 yrs old and now I am going to be 40. They are my family and have made going to the dentist not such a scary experience. My entire family goes to them and we have no complaints. They provide great service and are dedicated to your health and well being. I refuse to go to any other dentist. I have had fillings, extractions, root canals, braces and bridges done and let to tell you my teeth are strong and as healthy as can be. Love you guys and will be in to see you soon enough.

Staff is not mindful of covid 19 precautions. Staff attempted to use dirty gloves that was used to open doors and handle patient files in my mouth. Have to constantly keep asking the staff to wash hands and/or change gloves. The doctors response is that a little germs wont kill anyone. I wont be going back to this facility. I felt unsafe the entire visit

I'm laughing at some of the people in the reviews saying that this place is the most professional .. first off my appointment was at 12:30 I didn't get seen until 3 then I feel like he rushed my cleaning he hurt my teeth with his tools and then told me I needed a deep cleaning and that he put in the referral for me . My insurance told me he NEVER did that. I don't like the staff 2 of them are rude .. ESPECIALLY the older lady who answers the phone.. Sorry to give this place a bad review but hey I'm just being honest! Hopefully they do better.
