Dr. Robert J. Cohen has been practicing dentistry in South Florida for more than 40 years. He combines a caring bedside manner with a passion for his profession. In his more than four decades in dentistry through countless technological advancements Dr. Cohen has maintained a steadfast commitment to his patients.
Dr. Cohen completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Florida and University of Miami. He then attended the University of Detroit Dental School where he received the degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery. Licensed by the Michigan State Board of Dentistry he launched his career in Detroit before moving back to South Florida. He was certified by the American Dental Associations National Board of Dental Examiners and maintains a license in good standing with the Florida Board of Dentistry to this day.
His professional training includes the completion of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry Maxi-Course. He holds a Level 1 certification of completion from the L.D. Pankey Institute for advanced dental education. Dr. Cohen has continued his education at the Broward Dental Research Clinic and at the University of Toronto where he attended a course in Osseointegration in Clinical Dentistry. Dr. Cohen continues his education to this day in order to provide the latest and best treatment options for his patients.
Dr. Cohen is a member of the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, and North Dade/Miami Beach Dental Society. His focus is on cosmetic and implant dentistry including full-mouth crown and bridge reconstruction and restoration of dental implants with all-ceramic crowns.
Carlos Quilichini DDS, FICOI, is a graduate from Marquette Dental School, Milwaukee Wisconsin. He has been practicing general dentistry for the past 30 years, concentrating more in the area of Endodontia and Oral Surgery. He obtained a Fellowship from International Congress of Oral Implantology back in 2010.
Dr. David Malakov received his Doctorate in Dental Surgery from the New York University College of Dentistry, where he graduated with distinction as the recipient of the American Academy of Periodontology Award for Outstanding Achievement in Periodontics.
Dr. Malakov continued on to complete a supplementary three years of extensive specialty training at the prestigious Advanced Education Program in Periodontics and Implant Dentistry at New York University.

My family have been a patients of Dr. Cohen for 20 years. We have always recieved excellent care with excellent workmanship. The staff is always friendly and curtious. This office cares about their patients and I would not trust my family with anyone else.

Marie gave me a super comprehensive teeth cleaning. I haven't had other work done but I can confidently recommend Aventura Bright Smiles for cleanings, at the least!

I am a long time and totally satisfied patient of Dr. Cohen and his staff at Aventura Bright Smiles. It was wonderful to be back after the Covid lockdown. I had x-rays and the best cleaning with hygienist Marie. The complete experience is highly recommended.

Never saw the doctor after first appointment . Hygienist is okayish I guess and they are always full you are unable to get your preferred dates and times
