Dr. Aveni has over 40 years of experience in his field, but time has not dulled his passion for his profession. He remains eager to provide gentle, high-quality care to each and every patient. He will thoroughly explain any recommended treatments and answer all of your questions. Indeed, he has a team-focused approach to dental care and you are part of that team. You can expect him to work with you rather than just work on your teeth.

When Dr. Aveni was three years old, he was brought to the dentists office and featured in The Patriot Ledger to encourage other children to visit and promote the value of preventive care. This experience encouraged him to practice good oral hygiene habits and eventually even pursue this field as a viable career and hes never regretted that decision.
After completing his undergraduate education at Stonehill College, Dr. Aveni achieved his doctorate at the Georgetown University School of Dentistry. Throughout the course of his career, he has undergone advanced training in a variety of specialty topics, including treating sleep apnea with an oral appliance, full-mouth reconstruction with implant dentistry, crowns, bridges, and porcelain veneers. He also served as an Assistant Professor at Boston University School of Dentistry from 1979 to 2000. He currently hosts an Apex program at his dental office where students can learn about the dental field and what its like working in a real dental office.
Dr. Aveni is happily married to Diana Cousineau Aveni, who is an artist, interior designer, and author who owns Hingham Furniture and Design and Framing Concepts in Hingham, MA. They have two children together named Diana Reed and Steven Aveni, Jr. In his spare time, he plays baseball competitively in the Mens Adult Baseball League, golfs, gardens, and regularly goes to the gym.
Dr. Connor Kulka attended Boston University, Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. Dr. Kulka works closely with his patients in order to create a customized treatment plan. By learning about each patients individual lifestyle, he is able to tailor-make a plan that is unique to each patient.

It was the best experience I've ever had with a dentist n his staff. Everyone was so kind caring . I called them on a sat at 12;45 ..( they close at 1on Saturdays).. I had never been there before, I woke up fri nite at 1:30am in excruciating pain . I had called 18 dentists Sat. Then i.got Dr. AVENI 'S number called at 12;45 cheri answred n she couldn't have e been nicer or more helpful ...she said he was with his last patient n then she'd tell him what was goin on n how much pain I was in.. cheri was the only one to care enuff to c a ll me back .... she said how fast can u get here i said 10 mins n she said ok..got there n everyone was so sweet n caring then I met Dr. Aveni n he was very very nice , sympathetic saw how much pain i.was in n he said let's get this taken care of ... he's the dentist that's so hard to find he's actually a dentist cuz he cares very much abt people n he won't just stand by like other dentists when someone's in pain.. Other dentists these days would've said sorry closing at 1 ..n hung up .. orike the rest just not answer his phone ... Dr Aveni was very Cary and very gentle in.everything he does . He's just a all around great dentist .I'll definitly be goin back to him as my families new Dentist !!!

Amazing staff. The dr spoke in great length what was going to happen. Clean and very professional office. They were able to get me in within 48 hours once I called. Very knowledgeable and I highly recommend. They were able to ease my anxiety and it was a pain free experience.

I am a seasonal resident living in Chatham. No dentists locally would see me to do a simple crown replacement and I was thrilled to reach Angela at Avenu who booked me in next day first thing in the morning. Well worth it to drive up to Plymouth to this fabulous practice. Office so professionally run and clean and the care u was given was excellent. Thanks for the entire experience!

Have been going to Aveni Dental for over 20 years and am still impressed with how personable and professional everyone in the office is. My hygienist is very thorough and entertaining which makes the experience more enjoyable. Dr. Aveni has a great personality and is very knowledgeable and gentle when working on your teeth. They all work well together and make it a very pleasant experience. Wouldn't consider going anywhere else.

i have to take the time to review my first trip to my new dentist and his wonderful practice. Dr Aveni in Plymouth. I have only been here 2 weeks. and needed to find a practice, however yesterday i broke part of my tooth and i had to make a decision to find someone immediately. Fortunately my realtor helped me out by informing me of Dr Aveni. He is what a dentist should be, making you feel very welcome , and trained in what i refer to as "old school" , in otherwords not looking for work that is not necessary. He and his staff could not have been more accomodating. I was in a panic, and Angela phoned me early this morning after i left a voice message the night before and said to come right down. I was able to get my tooth taken care of as well as have the best cleaning ever and am looking forward to my next 6 month check up. This practice is wonderful. It is very apparent that all the staff really loves their work. It is a very upbeat atmosphere.
