Each of our staff members attends a high level of continued education to learn new technology and techniques, thereby better serving our patients. The more you know, the more you can take care of yourself.
Kelishadi has been nominated and received an award as one of the Top Los Angeles dentists. She has also been featured on the Dr. Oz show. She has been one of South Bays premier cosmetic dentist since 1995. Dr. Kelishadi has developed her practice to create a truly one-of-a-kind experience for people looking to transform their smiles. She received her dental degree from University Of Southern California in 1994 and has completed advanced training in areas of Cosmetic, Implant, and Sedation dentistry as well as Invisalign training. She has an artistic hand and a gentle touch. Dr. Kelishadi is a mother of two and has lived in the South Bay area for almost two decades and built one of the best dental practices in the area, Avalon Dental Care. She also loves skiing and enjoys tennis. Furthermore, she is very involved with community and volunteer work.

The ladies at the front office were very nice and made me feel welcomed as a new patient. The office itself is a little on the older side and looks a little worn out. The dentist was ok. The reason I didn't go back was because they didn't do my filling correctly and my bite wasn't leveled out. My bf also had a bad experience with the same dentist. He was told he needed braces (his smile is perfect) and his filling was done poorly and when he tried to get it fixed the dentist told him he would need a root canal (without doing any X-rays).

I adore this place. I've been to several dentists and the ones I've been to are okay, but everyone here (all the staff) they're knowledgeable, they answer all your questions, they make you feel like you're questions are important and they want to make sure that you feel comfortable and they go above and beyond. I do not trust dentists but this is the only place I ever come back too. The staff is incredibly nice - they make you feel right at home. The dentist is kind and to the point. I highly recomend this place.

I had such a wonderful experience at Avalon Dental Care I have been telling everyone about them. I was taken in at my appointment time. The dentist was very nice. I have some messed up teeth but never felt judged. Linda in the front office was very nice and helpful. She has a lot of knowledge. I'm going to book my daughters appointment and my dad's. Very professional, very clean and both front and back office staff were friendly.

Excellent! The best experience at the dental office I have ever had was at Avalon. From making appointments to get my implant. Doctor Marjan Kelishadi is very knowledgeable and professional. She is a really good surgeon. I had lost lots of bones in my jaw. She grafted bones in order to do implant a few months ago. She extracted my tooth. She did an implant.I didn't have any pain and just had a pain killer the day after the surgery. She also did crowns for me. All she did was Great work. Her staff are friendly and her office is very clean and up to date.
