Our orthodontic assistants who help Dr. Amin Movahhedian and Dr. Hamed Vaziri are all Registered Dental Assistants, RDA. This means that they have completed specialized formal education and have passed grueling examinations.

To achieve our mission on a global scale, for every patient starting treatment at one of AvA Orthodontics offices, we donate to treat a child suffering from cleft lip in developing countries. AvAs charity is associated with Smile Train, a non-profit organization. Through this partnership, we are able to provide funds and training to local doctors all around the world to provide free treatment for patients with facial defects.

Being an Ivy League graduate, I learned to master my knowledge through teaching. I regularly provide continuing education courses for my colleagues in the dental field. I educate them in orthodontic diagnosis & treatment planning, smile analysis, multidisciplinary approach to cosmetic dentistry, principles of occlusion, TMJ, and skeletal discrepancies.

Being an Ivy League graduate has inspired my passion for teaching and research. Throughout my career, I have published several papers in some respected peer-reviewed journals. I am also involved in teaching future orthodontists and lecturing my colleagues about different aspects of this wonderful field.

I was born and raised in Spring, Texas. I absolutely love to see people smile and being a part of AvA Orthodontics allows me to accomplish that. I take pride in the work I do and enjoy meeting new people! I am a huge animal lover and sports fan. In my free time, I enjoy traveling, baking, spending time with family and friends, and running with my Dalmatian, Colt.

I love being a part of AvA Orthodontics and having the opportunity to work with such a great team! I was born and raised in League City and love raising my son here as well. We enjoy going to the park, exploring new places, and spending time with family. I also like to work out, bake, and discover new places to eat.

I have lived in Texas my whole life where everything is bigger including the smiles! Being a part of such an amazing team at AvA Orthodontics has allowed me the opportunity to help transform patients smiles. Outside of work I have my hands full with my fianc and 3-year-old son Issac, who loves any zoo or farm animal. I enjoy fishing and riding jet skis out on the lake, barbecuing with family and friends, cooking, and shopping for new home dcor. Im so grateful for my second family at AvA.

Working for AvA Orthodontics is a dream come true! The staff here are super friendly and the patients are wonderful. Its exciting to be part of a team that is passionate about their field, and passionate about providing great service to their patients. Outside of this fun office, I love spending quality time with family, friends, and my husband.

I enjoy being a part of the AvA Orthodontics team, there is never a dull moment. One of my favorite things is seeing patients reactions when they see how much their smile has changed. Ive lived in Texas for most of my life. During my free time when I am not at work, I like to hang out with my friends and have picnics or go out for brunch. I also love spending time with my family and my Pomeranian Rocky.

I moved to Texas a few years ago from Wisconsin and AvA Orthodontics has made me feel right at home. Im grateful I get to work with such an amazing team and have the pleasure to be a part of seeing patients smiles transform. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends.

I like to chill with patients and parents. I avoid the clinical part at all times, that's just too much work. In my free time, I like to take funny pictures with patients and dance with my co-workers. All the patients love me for my great looks and killer dance moves!
