Dr Arash Vahid graduated from The University of Michigan Ann Arbor School of Dentistry in 2003 (It is currently the number one ranked dental school in the U.S. and fifth in the world) after completing his 4 year undergraduate studies at University of Michigan.
He, then, completed post grad residency in cosmetics at AEGD Dept of the NYU College of Dentistry. He is also certified by the New York University Implant MAXI Course. Dr. Vahid also allocates his time and expertise to underserved areas in US and other countries. Dr. Vahid lives in Bergen County, NJ with his wife and 3 children. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his family, reading, skiing, tennis, and relaxing on the beach.

The AC Dental Office staff at Ramsey is very friendly and professional. The Dental Hygienist, Ernesto, was tharough and did a great job. Dr. Vahid is very knowledgeable and spent time to discuss his treatment plan. I recommend Dr. Vahid.

Dr. Vahid and the entire staff at AV dental has been amazing! I originally found them through a Groupon so my daughter and I could both get x-rays and teeth cleanings since we don't have dental insurance. Dr. V. has the best bedside manner. He explains everything he's about to do clearly, and with compassion. The staff are all very friendly and outgoing and there was virtually no waiting time when I arrived for my follow up crown and cavities fillings. I was provided with a clear chart and treatment plan with prices in advance, and when I searched around in my own area, it was clear that AV Dental prices were better than anything I was going to get in my hometown. The only way I could've been happier was if I didn't need any treatment at all but that's not reality so I'm really glad Dr. V. and his team were there to help.

I paid out of pocket but was very pleased with everything. From the front desk to the dentist. No pain and thorough in explaining. New looking office and equipment.

If you're looking for a new dentist I highly recommend Dr Vahid and his excellent staff Dina and Kenny. My regular DS wasn't available when I had an emergency and they fit me in, treated me for over 2 hours, all while running a busy and efficient office. Dr V and staff are highly trained, professional yet kind but also patient while either explaining procedure or payment.

I went to AV Dental for an implant. Dr. Vahid was excellent, and his office staff were professional and kind! They were extremely accommodating and moved my appointment up to accommodate my schedule. The office is state-of-the-art! I highly recommend Dr. Vahid for general dentistry or dental surgery.

Friendly, cleanliness was perfect. Dina saved me from a lot of pain the week prior. My first visit was X-rays and consultation. Needed two teeth removed cause they were causing my pain, next thing I knew I was being numbed to have them taken out right than and there! No pain whatsoever! And one was a wisdom tooth! Fabulous all around! Thank you!!!

If I could give 10 stars I would. Very nice office and Doctor V is absolutely amazing. Going in as a new patient I had to get an emergency root canal while pregnant. He did an amazing job at comforting me and took his time. I truly appreciate how above and beyond the office went to make sure I was okay. Thank you AV Dental. Highly recommended.

I can't recommend this dentist highly enough. A brand-new customer, I went to them after finding a good deal on Groupon. The staff was personable, friendly, helpful, and efficient. And the doctor's chairside manner cannot be beat! What a delightful experience--and I had four fillings done! A++++
