Dr. Ton started Autumn Lake Dental to treat families of our Oakley community with ethical and gentle care, just as he treats his own family. With the explosion of corporate dental chains and assembly-line dentistry, Dr. Ton wants to preserve the small, quality dental practice that focuses on great service and a wonderful experience. Dr. Ton received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of California, Davis and his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of California, San Francisco. He is an active member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, where he continually strengthens his artistic skills so that he can deliver exceptional results to his patients. When hes not working with patients or taking continuing education courses, Dr. Ton enjoys spending time with his family, hiking, playing tennis, and paddle boarding in the delta.
Dr. Ton continually donates to local programs and major organizations such as Give Back a Smile, the Red Cross, the Breast Cancer Society, the Animal Humane Society, and local food banks. He also mentors kids at the high school Outreach Conference to guide them with their career goals. Winning an award for his service in 2012, Dr. Ton is an important part of our community.
Dr. Jenny Lui was born and raised in San Francisco, CA. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in neurobiology, physiology, and behavior from the University of California, Davis, and obtained her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine in Glendale, Arizona.
Dr. Lui views dental health as a crucial part of a persons overall health and well-being. She enjoys spending time with all of her patients to create a personalized treatment plan that is catered to them to meet their specific needs. She is a firm believer in patient education and makes it her top priority to teach and explain to all of her patients what she is doing every step of the way. She also enjoys learning about the new advances in technology in dentistry and continues to expand her education by taking courses to provide exceptional quality care for her patients.
As a registered dental hygienist, I do my best to create a calm and comfortable environment for patients. I believe everyone deserves to love and feel proud about their smile, and I strive to make that happen. I enjoy educating patients on their oral health, including ways to improve and maintain that health in and out of our office. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and family. We love to visit South Lake Tahoe; attend Giants, Sharks, and Warrior games; and go to concerts. I love being active and outdoors, but I can also spend a day inside with our cat, Marlee.
Autumn Lake Dental is definitely more family oriented and comfortable than other offices. We have something for everyone: computers so you can check emails or surf the Internet; TVs in the reception area and treatment rooms; and coffee, tea, and hot chocolate to enjoy before or after your visit! And for the little ones, we have video games and a kitchen play set.
What excites me the most about dentistry is making other people feel confident about their smiles. I love working at Autumn Lake Dental because we really focus on comfort and quality care. I enjoy working with Dr. Ton and the team because together we make it all happen by providing the best dental experience possible. Our office welcomes patients with big smiles and many amenities to make them feel 'at home'. I feel very fortunate to be part of such an amazing team! When I 'm not working, I enjoy traveling with my older sister, spending time with my family, and going to the beach.
The thought of pursuing a career in dentistry never really crossed my mind until my brother, Dr. Ton, gave me the opportunity to shadow and explore this fascinating field. Being a visual and tactile learner, working in the dentistry field is extremely rewarding because it demands the utmost physical work. The experience of working on a set schedule with a highly knowledgeable and enthusiastic team makes work enjoyable, and I am continuously mind-boggled by the evolving world of dentistry.
I can say that after working at Autumn Lake Dental, I enjoy the motivation and positive drive of the team to provide some of the best and most affordable dental care in the region. The sophisticated, architectural, and technological design of the office is both inviting and exemplifies to our patients that they have chosen the right place for their dental concerns. It is extremely gratifying to get to know our patients personally, and for them to know that we have acknowledged and addressed any concerns during their visit.
Currently I am an undergraduate at the University of California, Merced, majoring in Microbiology and Immunology. During my weekends, I usually do a variety of community service throughout the Merced County, providing assistance to those in need as well as educating the young public to pursue their highest potential goals.

Did you ever saw a happy dental patient after oral surgery ? Is me. I suddenly had an infection in my tooth that previous doctors had not seen, extraction was scheduled, and anesthesia did not work in another clinic. so I immediately went to Autumn dental care. performed the procedure for me by Dr. Ton, to say that I am satisfied with his work is to say nothing. He is a very attentive and caring doctor, supportive, explained to me step by step our plan of actions, explained in detail my situation with the tooth, and how the procedure would go. he did an anesthesia that worked and was comfortable, and in about 30 minutes he removed the tooth and put in grafting. acted very professionally using modern technology, I felt in good hands. I am very grateful for the care shown and for the quality of service in the clinic.

All the women working there are absolutely amazing and kind! I'm so grateful that they were able to take me short notice and take my painful tooth out that same day! Sadly they don't take medical, but if and when i do get some new insurance I'm definitely switching over.

Had an issue with a crown and called them for an emergency appt. Anna was able to get me right in that same afternoon and Dr. Liu took care of me right away. These people are the best!

No longer takes our insurance with no notice. Wanted to collect $100 a piece up front. Thanks for the warning before you decided to nit take my insurance any longer so i can find a new dentist for my family!

Had a teeth whitening that I was apprehensive about. Staff was great and explained every step of the process which took about two hours. The results were excellent my teeth are so white now. Happy to smile again!! Thank you Autumn Dental.

The service I received was pretty pleasant. good funny people, gentle dentist, clean equipment, nice chairs and the cool ceiling TV's. The reason the ranking is low is because they didn't check to see if I had insurance that covered my visit, and they didn't take my insurance and I had to pay out of pocket for the full visit which was kinda messed up and felt a little careless. The staff was very apologetic and I believe it to be an honest mistake, but a mistake I alone had to pay for. Check to make sure they accept your (widely accepted nationally) insurance first, and then you will have a great visit.

We love the entire staff at Autumn Lake! My daughter who is 5 always raves about Kitty after she has cleanings done. This was my son's first dental appointment as he's only 21 months old. The staff was incredibly patient and gentle with him. So happy with our experience every time.

Dental appointments give me extreme anxiety. Autumn Lake Dental has been my dental office for a few years now, and my experience has always gone really smooth, office staff is friendly and efficient, lobby is modern and fresh, dental hygienist are professional and friendly and most of all the Doctors are professional, and are clear and precise about the work you're having done. 5 stars from me.
