Dr. Neisen grew up in Bird Island, Minnesota and graduated from BOLD High School. With his natural love for anatomy and biology, he knew that he wanted to pursue a fulfilling career in the medical field and make a positive impact in the lives of others. After shadowing a local family dentist in high school, he discovered his calling in caring for smiles and hasnt looked back since.
He attended North Dakota State University where he earned his undergraduate degree with highest honors in zoology - health sciences. He then went on to become a Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry, graduating with highest honors as 6th of 98 students in his class. After dental school, he completed his Advanced Education in General Dentistry at A.T. Still University in Mesa, Arizona, where he began his training in dental implants, extractions, and advanced dentistry.
Today, Dr. Neisen is living his dream as the owner of Authentic Dental of Willmar. Gentle and approachable, he makes it a point to connect with his patients on a personal level, relate to their challenges, and create the most comfortable, individualized dental experience. He couldnt feel more excited to partner alongside Willmar patients with trusted support and provide unparalleled care for his home region.
Outside of the office, you can find Dr. Neisen making fun memories with his wife and best friend, Hope, and being a loving father to his bundle of joy, Mila. He also enjoys reading (a self-proclaimed bookworm), learning a new riff on his guitar, preparing for his next 5K run, playing with his rescue pup, Nellie, and cheering on the Minnesota Vikings. I usually don't do these kind of posts/ratings, but after my dental experience at Authentic Dental, I had to share! Due to an upcoming surgery, I had to have dental work first. I hadn't been to the dentist for many years, and had alot of anxiety about it. Due to the embarrassment of the long absent to my former dentist, I took the advice from a friend to go to Authentic Dental. The service I received was 5 star all the way. The staff was so caring of my whole situation, and Dr. Neisen, and his staff, did a tremendous job on my teeth! They made sure I was comfortable and explained things very thoroughly. After a long visit, I even got a phone call that evening to see how I was doing! :) I thank All the staff for their kindness! Also, the office is adorable, you feel like a guest in their "home". SHOUT OUT TO YOU GUYS!!!

Old fashioned customer service for the next generation. Very first appointment to visit them for a root canal. We talked about the time and I asked if I could get out by 1:00 so I could pick up some fruit from a truck in town. Unfortunately the procedure went a bit past but I figured I'd catch the truck later. I was settling up and Hope said she had something for me. It was a box of fruit! I've yet to see this level of customer service and actually got a call that evening to check on my progress from the dentist himself. Great group and will be back with my kids. Thanks for bringing customer service back to be cool!!!

First time at Authentic Dental of Willmar, highly recommended. Excellent staff, dental hygienist Tracy was awesome and explained the process clearly. DDS Trent Niesen did an excellent job going over my dental care! They are keepers, highly recommended by me and my family.

We reached out to Authentic Dental of Willmar when my son fell and damaged his teeth. They went out of their way to get us in and taken care of immediately. Prior to visiting their practice, I have helped them in a customer service setting where they showed absolute kindness and grace. If you are looking for a new dentist, absolutely stop here!

I would highly recommend this dental office if you are looking for a new dentist. The receptionists are very welcoming. Amanda, my dental assistant made sure that I was comfortable and that all my questions were answered. Dr. Neisen explained everything very well before my procedure and what my options were. No pressure. Also he made the procedure totally painless for me.
