Dr. Austin Schellinck, a Northern California native, received his dental degree after attending the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco where he graduated with honors. After graduating from dental school, he pursued his advanced specialty training in periodontics and dental implant surgery at Baylor in Dallas, TX. At Baylor, Dr. Schellinck received extensive training in the surgical treatment of periodontal disease, surgical dental implant placement, bone grafting techniques, oral medicine and IV conscious sedation. In addition to his training, Dr. Schellinck has lectured on and published research on autoimmune diseases and their relationship to periodontal disease.
Dr. Schellinck has the distinction of being a Board Certified Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, the highest designation for his specialty, and he continues to stay abreast the most recent surgical techniques and technologies available to treat his patients. His comprehensive specialty training allows him to treat complex cases with predictable and long-lasting results. It is his goal to provide the highest quality of care to his patients in a comfortable setting here in the East Bay. In addition to his full-time practice, Dr. Schellinck participates in the Amador Valley Dental Study Club and the Interdisciplinary Care Group (ICG) Study Club, both of which are components of the internationally renowned Spear Education group.
Outside of the office, Dr. Schellinck enjoys spending time with his wife, Ashley, and their three children, Greyson, Adelyn and Liam Together they enjoy spending time on the coast and in the Tahoe area. He also enjoys photography, golfing, playing soccer, tennis and skiing.

Dr Austin seem to be pretty good at his work. So far things are okay, no major concerns about the treatment. However there are few things which could be improved. Response to email communication is pretty slow and no one picks the call when you call. Probably they dont have any one taking care of front desk operations. Please consider providing bill immediately after taking money. The interest shown to take payment is not shown to give the receipt. Just the cosmetic concerns, however its frustrating to do continuous follow-up for such small things.

to beginning with front desk is very rude and disrespectful. she threatened me by saying i hope you get along with me, or you will have very difficult way with us. She called me be that i am disrespectful to her by addressing her MADAM. good luck to DR Austin with this kind of front desk staff and good luck to his income and business.

I have had 4 gum grafts at Dr. Schellinck's office, over 24 months. Very good experience with all four - no complications at all; the Doctor is a true professional and a good friend at the same time. All office staff are very friendly and very pleasant to work with. Scheduling is flexible and they even fit in an additional follow on visit, at no cost, when i was planning an international travel to ensure i had no issues when i was abroad. I highly recommend this practice.

I have now had three gum grafts with Dr Schellinck, and each has gone amazingly well. I have had no problems with my grafts and his entire staff is very professional. I would highly recommend him. My dentist sent me to Dr. Schellinck because of the quality work he does.
