Dr. Michael Austin has been practicing in Owensboro since 2001. Dr Austin was born and raised in Calhoun, Kentucky. He graduated McLean County High School in 1990, Graduated Western Ky University Magna Cum Laudi with majors in Biology and Chemistry with a minor in Physics, and attended the University of Louisville School of Dentistry. He then completed a General Practice Residency at the VA hospital in Louisville, KY. He then went on to complete his specialty training In Endodontics at the University Of Louisville.
Dr. Austin is an active member of many professional organizations including American Association of Endodontist, the American Dental Association, and Southern Endodontic Study Group. Dr. Austin also volunteers his professional services in the community.

Dr.Austin and his staff were incredible. They took me in on short notice. And explained everything professionally and gave me my options. I would recommend this staff to anyone!

Dr. Austin & his lovely team were absolutely incredible. Everyone was so, so kind and patient with me. I was in excruciating pain, beyond anxious, and very scared. Literally terrified I would forever be in irrevocable pain. Dr. Austin & his team took all that pain, all those worries, & fears I had away. They are truly the sweetest & most caring people. I had a wonderful experience, and I am beyond grateful to them. Highly, highly recommend coming here!

Dr. Austin and his staff were wonderful in taking care of my daughter. I'm very thankful for their professionalism and helpfulness in getting my daughter taken care of when she needed a root canal. Dr Austin and his staff were able to get her in quickly and out of pain. They will never know the true depths of my thankfulness.

I normally do not write reviews but I had to write this one. Dr. Austin and staff are one of the most professional and caring teams I have ever seen. Dr. Austin genuinely cares about his patients and is not just looking for a payday. He and his staff took excellent care of my problem and situation. The care and compassion they showed especially during these uncertain times should be a model for others to follow. What a blessing and thank you Dr. Austin and staff for everything.

Not recommended. I had them preauthorize the work I needed done. I paid the balance they said I owed, and after the work was done then they realized they submitted the wrong info to my insurance and tried to bill me another $500. The kicker is the route canal wasn't done correctly, and I had to get it redone anyway. The guy is a quack DMD.
