Jessica is the hygienist at Austin Dental Works and loves being able to provide patients with a high level of care including empowering them with information and advice about their oral health. Jessica was born and raised in Dayton, OH. After college, she moved to Charleston, SC for a year but then on a whim moved down to Austin, TX where she served for a year on the 4-H Capital AmeriCorps Project teaching science to underprivileged youth. Even though she didnt know a soul in Texas, she was excited for a new adventure and a new chapter in her life! Jessicas favorite thing about Austin is that Austin is a big small town, which reminds her of home. When shes not helping patients, she likes to spend her free time kayaking, jogging around Town Lake, and exploring new restaurants (be sure to tell her about any amazing sushi places you know of that she should try!)
Marissa is one of Dr. Jaros dental assistants and enjoys being a helping hand for patients in having healthy mouths and teeth. She is from Houston and came to Austin to be closer to family and friends. Her favorite thing about Austin culture is the food. On the weekend, she likes spending time with family, friends, watching movies and house decorating, and giving lots of cuddles to her chocolate Lab, Whiskey. Marissas top favorite movies are Princess Diaries, A Walk to Remember, any Marvel movie.
Anna enjoys helping patients be their healthiest and working with the Austin Dental Works team as a dental assistant. As a native Austinite, she loves all the outdoor activities to do in our city that are both family-oriented and dog-friendly! When shes not gushing over her furbabies at home, Anna enjoys spending her weekends with her son watching sports (Hook em!), shopping, brunches, cooking, and cheering her son on in his activities! She adores classic 80s movies with her favorites being Vacation, Terms of Endearment, Steel Magnolias, Breakfast Club, and Sixteen Candles.
Alexis helps patients as the Financial Coordinator at Austin Dental Works. One of her favorite things about being a part of the team is her amazing fellow team members! Alexis was born in Austin, raised in Northern California, and then found her way back home to Austin. When shes not busy keeping up with her 3 young daughters, shes busy trying to catch up on some reading (typically a murder mystery), getting a workout in or trying new recipes to bake some sweet treats for her toughest critics (her daughters)!
Tiffanie is our Patient Coordinator and one of the first smiles youll see when you walk into Austin Dental Works. Her favorite thing about her job is meeting new people and getting to know them over the years! Tiffanie grew up in San Antonio and moved to Austin in 2014 for better job opportunities but to still be close enough to visit family. Also, there is always something to do or see in Austin! She especially loves the live music and Broadway at Bass Concert Hall. Tiffanies weekend fun includes binge-watching a new tv series or movie, gardening, working on various crafts like painting or miniature dollhouses, and enjoying TexMex (#addictedtoqueso).
