Dr. Jamie Austin began her dental career in 2006 as a dental assistant while attending Georgia College and State University. After completing her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Biology, she earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from the Dental College of Georgia at Augusta University. While attending Augusta University, she participated in community clinics, served as volunteer coordinator, and co-authored a clinical report that was published in the Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry.
Dr. Austin is an active member of the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Facial Esthetics, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Georgia Dental Association, the Peachtree Summit Study Club, and the Northern District Dental Society.
Intent on building genuine and trusting relationships with patients, she enjoys taking time for conversations and learning about her patients and their dental health goals. Through these conversations, Dr. Austin can also learn how to help patients best. She is passionate about how the art of dentistry can change a persons outlook on life, confidence, and overall dental health.
Born in California, raised in Georgia, Dr. Austin and her husband, Ashton, have always considered the Atlanta area their home. When the opportunity to continue Dr. Stuart Coes dental practice arose, Dr. Austin accepted the honor and purchased the practice in 2020.
In her spare time, Dr. Austin and her husband enjoy spending time with their daughter, being outdoors as much as possible, going to area sporting events, including Atlanta United soccer matches and traveling. Dr. Austin enjoys fitness, yoga, exploring new worlds on scuba diving adventures, and discovering new flavors by cooking new dishes and trying out the best food spots she can find.
Sonya is a Registered Dental Hygienist with over 25 years of experience serving patients. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from Western Kentucky University and is certified as an Orofacial Myofunctional Therapist.
Sonya and her husband have three sons. Like most moms, Sonyas pride is in raising her family. She enjoys cooking and experimenting with new recipes, spending time outdoors, and is always up for a beach vacation. In the future, she plans to learn gardening.
In her spare time, she is a harpist, studies ballet, enjoys cooking, gardening, and attending theater productions, ballets, and the Atlanta Opera. RaDonna and her husband have a family of little dogs that bring them much happiness.

This Dental practice is A plus from front desk to hygienist to Dentist. Gentle, caring, kind and accommodating . I have been going to this practice for many years and would never consider changing.

Austin Dental of Roswell is the best. All of the staff & Dr. Austin are top notch, take such good care of my teeth/dental needs, extremely welcoming, and make you feel like part of the family. I've been coming here for the last 7 years (Dr. Coe before he retired), and the practice has not missed a beat when Dr. Austin took over a few years ago. Definitely recommend Austin Dental for any one looking for an excellent dentist!

I went in this morning because I hadn't been to the dentist for a while but was having some sensetivity. Tara and Dr. Austin both looked at what was going on, and I did need something fixed from a filling that had been put there there from a different dental office. Thankfully no cavities, but I did need my filling fixed in my back tooth. Dr. Austin did fix it without any pain, and let me know all my options going forward.

This was my first opportunity to visit for Dental procedures since the beginning of the Pandemic, and the retirement of Dr. Coe. I was very pleased with the service I received. Also, my new Dentist was very friendly, kind and reassuring that all remains well. The care previously provided will continue. Everyone of the staff is very professional and curtious! I was all smiles when I left!!!!

Everyone at Austin dental is so nice and helpful! Radonna (receptionist) is so nice and always asks about your family and how everyone is doing, she truly makes you feel welcomed and like family. The hygienist was very informative about an issue I asked about which I appreciated her taking the time to talk to me. Dr. Austin is also awesome as she took the time to try to get to the root of my concern on one of my teeth. You will love your experience at this office!

Dr. Austin and her staff are very thorough, provide excellent dental health, to include routine cleanings and filings as needed. Before each procedure such as filings, crowns or any other treatment, the process and cost are reviewed with the patient to ensure complete understanding.

We absolutely love Austin Dental of Roswell!! Been coming here for more than 20 years and while we really do miss Dr Coe (retired), Dr Austin has continued on with this practice keeping it going in a top notch manner. It really says a lot to me when you have staff members who have been around for over 10 years. And believe me I've gone back out to a few others (only because of insurance restrictions) and I am so happy to be back with them - they're the best!
