Dr. Jamie Austin began her dental career in 2006 as a dental assistant while attending Georgia College and State University. After completing her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Biology, she earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from the Dental College of Georgia at Augusta University. While attending Augusta University, she participated in community clinics, served as volunteer coordinator, and co-authored a clinical report that was published in the Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry.
Dr. Austin is an active member of the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Facial Esthetics, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Georgia Dental Association, the Peachtree Summit Study Club, and the Northern District Dental Society.
Intent on building genuine and trusting relationships with patients, she enjoys taking time for conversations and learning about her patients and their dental health goals. Through these conversations, Dr. Austin can also learn how to help patients best. She is passionate about how the art of dentistry can change a persons outlook on life, confidence, and overall dental health.
Born in California, raised in Georgia, Dr. Austin and her husband, Ashton, have always considered the Atlanta area their home. When the opportunity to continue Dr. Stuart Coes dental practice arose, Dr. Austin accepted the honor and purchased the practice in 2020.
In her spare time, Dr. Austin and her husband enjoy spending time with their daughter, being outdoors as much as possible, going to area sporting events, including Atlanta United soccer matches and traveling. Dr. Austin enjoys fitness, yoga, exploring new worlds on scuba diving adventures, and discovering new flavors by cooking new dishes and trying out the best food spots she can find.
Sonya is a Registered Dental Hygienist with over 25 years of experience serving patients. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from Western Kentucky University and is certified as an Orofacial Myofunctional Therapist.
Sonya and her husband have three sons. Like most moms, Sonyas pride is in raising her family. She enjoys cooking and experimenting with new recipes, spending time outdoors, and is always up for a beach vacation. In the future, she plans to learn gardening.
In her spare time, she is a harpist, studies ballet, enjoys cooking, gardening, and attending theater productions, ballets, and the Atlanta Opera. RaDonna and her husband have a family of little dogs that bring them much happiness.
