Dr. Mellina Delgado is from Pharr, Texas. She received a full academic scholarship at the University of Texas Pan American where she completed her undergraduate studies in biology with a minor in chemistry. She then attended the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio and obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Shortly thereafter, she attended the NYU Hospital Center at Memphis Tennessee Post Doctoral Residency Program for Advanced Education in General Dentistry.
She is a diplomat of the American Dental Association, American Student Dental Association, and Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Delgado has also served on dental mission trips for Global Brigades Dental. Dr. Delgado practices a complete scope of dental surgery where particular areas of interest include prosthodontics, endodontics, periodontics, oral surgery, and restorative dentistry.
In her spare time, Dr. Delgado spends her time jet-setting across the world and engaging in active activities such as whitewater rafting, hiking, competing in half iron mans, playing tennis and snowboarding. Dr. Delgado is also fluent in Spanish.
Dr. Ding is originally from Mainland China, but has resided in San Antonio, Texas for most of his life. He attended the University of Texas at San Antonio for his bachelors degree in biology and chemistry. Shortly thereafter, he obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio where he earned numerous awards for clinical excellence and graduated with high honors.
When Dr. Ding isnt practicing dentistry, he enjoys spending time with his lovely wife, Lisa, his son, Connor, and his adorable identical twin girls, Addy and Lexi. He also finds time to express his interests in sports, photography, and culinary art.

Wonderful office! Entire staff is professional, kind, hardworking, and extremely knowledgeable! Definitely will give you a fair assessment of your teeth and will not try to cheat you of unnecessary fillings. I completely trust this office!

I can't thank the staff at AusTex enough... everyone made me feel comfortable and they all went above and beyond. Dr Delgado went out of her way while on vacation over the weekend to save me from pain. Thank you so very much

I can't give y'all enough stars. I first started coming here when I unfortunately took a fall that broke my two front teeth. I really didn't want to walk around Austin with missing front teeth. So after a quick ER visit, I called every dentist in town, and Austex was the only place that was able to see me even remotely quickly. The very next day, I came in, and the staff was amazing. Just a couple hours earlier, I was scared I would be "that guy" with the weird smile for the rest of my life. But Dr. Delgado took about 20 minutes, and had me in as good of shape as ever. You would never even have been able to tell that anything happened. Since then, I have been using Austex as my primary dentist, and they are so great every time. Getting Invisalign was a breeze, and they were very willing to help every step of the way. I moved to another state in the middle of my treatment, and they were very accommodating in sending transfer forms, and helping me find someone who could pick up on the care where they had left off. I'm sad to leave, but I'm glad I have all my teeth.

I have been terrified of the dentist for YEARS. I was the type of person who wouldn't go unless I had severe tooth pain or in 3 years ago case, a collapsed tooth. Fast forward to now... I knew I had 2 cavities and they were starting to bother me so I decided to make an appointment with Austex since they were .3 miles from me. I told Dr. Delgado in our original consultation that I was terrified of the dentist and she was super understanding and made me feel SUPER comfortable. I ended up needing to get my front tooth redone and a old silver filling replaced which she did super fast and gently. If you are an individual scared of shots they make it so you don't feel ANYTHING when you get the numbing shot. Lastly MacKenzie who is the hygienist was amazing. Super friendly, cracks jokes to make you feel calm and makes sure you don't feel anything. I would highly recommend this place and definitely will be going back to them for the rest of my dental needs. Austex rocks!

They messed up my filling and I had to come back 3 times to get it fixed. I also received an extra bill over a year after my filling.

The receptionist was great, however the dentist basically wasn't able to give me anything for pain during cov 19 unless I dropped 400$ for a root canal, after talking to my fiances nurses as he's stage 5 kidney disease it was advised doing a medical procedure could put him at risk. I explained this and also that we were having income issues due to cov 19 and they wouldn't do anything and looked at me as if I was a drug addict though he verified via exam that I definitely had an infection. Its completely ridiculous that they don't put patient care first, had they been helpful id definitely have been there long term.
