It was just ok. I really like the dentist. He was very friendly and thorough. I truly appreciated how thorough he was with me. His assistant however, I hated everything about her. Her energy bothered me so bad. When I got there it took forever for me to go in the back and after my exam it was a long time for them to give me my treatment plan. I was there for 2 hours and I had to run out bc I had to get back to work. Also, I didn't get my teeth cleaned and I don't know why. 2 hours and no teeth cleaning. Weird. Anyway, the dentist was great. The staff was just ok. The dental assistant can kick rocks barefoot.

I had an emergency this morning and needed my front crown replaced. After finding the office online they were able to get me in same day. After I explained how my last visit went at a different office they almost seemed determined to prove they were nothing of the sort. Dr. Priyanka Yadav was very professional and approachable. I didn't get that at my last dentist. She took her time and made sure I was comfortable at every step in the process. I'll definitely be back and make Austell Smiles Dentistry and Orthodontics my new dentist office.

Dr Yadav is the best dentist I've gone to in years. Very personable, professional and does incredible work. She explains everything and talks you through the procedure. Yes it can be pricey but all dental work is pricey. It's not specific to this location but they have financing options and the Dr is sympathetic to this. I highly recommend this location and Dr Yadav.

Recently had a visit with Dr. Yadav and as always it went smoothly. She is By far the best dentist I've ever had. She is extremely knowledgeable and precise in how she assesses and addresses your dental needs. For example, in my last visit, we started our appointment off with my sharing how I had some pain near an old crown (done by another dentist office btw). Not only did she instantaneously have an explanation for what was the problem, she accurately described how and when the pain occurred despite my not having yet communicated those details. Very impressive. Scary good. Her experience shows. We've had previous interactions as well and this last experience is consistent with the treatment she provides. Thanks Dr. Yadav for taking such great care of your patients! Let's not forget about the two ladies upfront, Chauncey and Elizabeth. They are phenomenal at what they do. They are kind, highly responsive, patient, and have an exceptional understanding of how all these insurance companies work. The can break it all down to you anytime, very simply. If your schedule is tight, they'll squeeze you in whenever possible. I honestly don't know how they do it. They manage the steady flow of appts with finesse and multi-task effortlessly. Thanks for your hard work! A while back, Dr. Desseuix (Oral surgeon) and his team did an awesome job on my implant. It went smoothly and was surprisingly painless - his numbing skills were on point! Dr. Muraya (no longer there) finished the process by adding the crown. She was meticulous, attentive, and made sure my crown fit perfectly. Thank you both for doing such a great job! Overall, I highly recommend this office. It is a well-oiled machine. Don't wait, book your appt today!

I hate to write a negative review, but I have no choice. I am writing this review on my mother's behalf. My mother recently had over $7000 worth of dental work done at Austell Smiles Dentistry. She paid some out of pocket and some through her insurance. She was on a payment plan for her out-of-pocket portion. She only owed $500 on her balance as of May 2022. She went into the office and paid her final bill on May 10. The office manager/ billing supervisor DESIREE was the one that took her payment. However, her account was never updated. Then, her bank account was drafted for another payment on May 20, although the bill had been paid in full. My mother contacted the office to find out why her account had been debited after she paid the balance. They informed her they could not help her because they were closed for the week. On Monday, May 23, she went by the office to talk with the front office staff and spoke with DESIREE CLARK. DESIREE was very RUDE and DISRESPECTFUL. After my mom introduced herself, Desiree stated, "I know who you are!" Then, she tells her, "I can't do anything about the billing issue," even though she's the supposed OFFICE MANAGER and BILLING SUPERVISOR. She never apologized for the incident in which my mother's account was drafted for a payment that wasn't due!!!! DESIREE was haughty and arrogant about the situation. She told my mother she couldn't help that she was on a payment plan!!! She also told my mother to leave the premises b/c she didn't have an appointment, although she knew about the incident and was the one who took her final payment of $500. According to DESIREE, it wasn't her fault or concern!! I want a response ASAP about this incident. My mother is almost 70 years old and was treated like a child, and her complaint was dismissed by DESIREE as if it was nothing!! I have been a patient at this office for 3.5 years and was the one that referred my mother. I like Dr. Yadav, and she is an excellent dentist. However this is not the first time we have had issues with her staff, but this is by far the worst!! DESIREE is one of the most UNPROFESSIONAL, UNCARING individuals we have met who works as a healthcare provider. She is going to ruin this office and run all of Dr. Yadav's patients away.

Honestly, I'm a little shocked with the rating below, I so far haven't had a problem I got my wisdom teeth extraction on 5/4 and the oral surgeon was awesome! Honestly no pain little inflammation so in other words he has good hands. The only reason I will not give it a 5 is because the oral surgeon told me not to rinse with warm water and salt but the post op instructions says to do so? So not sure why that has not been updated. In my opinion if the Dr recommends something please have it on paper with his specific instructions.

Looks like most of the dentists here have left for some reason.

Come March 2022 the crown fell out while i was eating beans and I called the emergency hotline because this was my first time every experiencing this sort of thing. I reassured that there would be no payment to be made, i was also told that i would receive a call to schedule an appointment, which i did not. I called Monday afternoon to schedule an appointment for Tuesday and again I asked if there would be any charges and I was reassured that there would be no charges. Upon no one was at the front desk, i waited almost 15mins which isn't much honestly to finally be attended to, in regards to my appointment I spoke with a caucasian older woman who I again asked if there would be any charges and she herself reassured me that there would be no charges. During my appointment I was told the the crown itself was perfectly fine and that my actual tooth which the crown was on broke when the tooth fell out. The dentist herself said that there was nothing more she could do for me in regards of the crown because the crown was not what broke but in fact it was my tooth and they were only responsible for the crown. She then advised me that I would need a bridge which she attempted to pressure me into but I opted out of because I currently had no insurance and no job (which I expressed to the Indian dentist). She then told me she could put the tooth back on but there was no guarantee it would last and a possibility it could fall out the same day or the following days. I then decided to have to tooth place back on which was the most excruciating experience of my life (when I initially had the tooth placed in my mouth it didn't even hurt as bad as it did for her to simply recement the tooth) I bleed throughout the entire process and she seemed as if she was rushing to get me out and take care of the next customer. I the dentist herself if there were any charges which she herself reassured me that there would be no charges. Little did I know that previous caucasian woman I spoke to would come in and request my file from the dental assistant, stating that she just wanted to "notate the file", but instead wrote "rp fee $59", I get to the front after only having my tooth recemented and I was told by a Hispanic young woman that I would need to make a payment of $59, i then questioned why and what the payment was for after being told a numerous amount of times that there would be no payments to be made. The Hispanic young lady attending to me then begins to search for the Caucasian woman who left the notation on the paperwork, and she was suddenly nowhere to be found. The Hispanic young lady the tells me it was an ER (emergency room) fee, which made absolutely no sense at all, seeing as it was the EXACT same room i had the first dental procedure done in. I'm a full time student and I work hard for every dime I make. So this entire nonsense was very frustrating. First of all, if the crown would've eventually broken my actual tooth and I was made aware of that during my initial visit I would've opted for a bridge. But I was advised otherwise by the African American dentist, who previously placed the crown in my mouth. Secondly if a crown you as a company placed in a clients mouth falls out and breaks the clients tooth , why are you avoiding accepting responsibility? You had ONE job as a dentist, which was to fix my tooth and that was it, instead you've shaved my tooth down had me pay a lump sum of money for oral exams and procedures that ended up damaging my tooth even more. Then attempted to give me a sorry a** excuse of my responsibilities are the crown itself, and not your actual tooth. They're very unprofessional and inconsiderate. I regret ever going to this establishment. My initial visit was garbage and I expected something different but honestly speaking I'm not surprised. My best best was to save my f****** money and get f****** composite veneers and walk around looking like a new f****** b****. These people are very ruthless and have no genuine common sense or professionalism. I still can't believe this b***s***.

I spent three hours in the office for a simple cleaning. I chalked it up to a bad day on their part. But my fiance just went for his first cleaning appointment... they did his x-rays, then he sat there for two hours before they told him their hygienist is booked and he'll need to schedule another appointment for a cleaning. Super frustrating. I'm sure they're great dentists, but they have awful time management.

Can't say worse things. Went in asking about Invisalign and was told the wouldn't consider that until I had fillings and a deep clean (I can't understand that but their prices were over $800) not only that but the dentist rudely asked if the pimple around my lip was herpes. You're gonna glove up anyway.... Don't embarrass someone for acne. Will never return.

I always had great experiences with the people touching my mouth, doing the actual dentistry. The front desk staff are very nice and courteous people but let administrative issues fall through the cracks. It happened a few times which, no big deal, but then they suddenly stopped taking my insurance midway through the year, and didn't bother to tell me. I showed up for my appointment and they were trying to charge me an exorbitant amount of money, when I questioned why, that's when they saw no insurance was applied. Someone somewhere made the decision to drop a major dental insurance company and they didn't bother to find out who of their clients had it and give them a heads up? That's just bad customer service. I'm still bitter about it because I miss my dentist there!!

If I could give them no stars I would. I've been a patient for about a year. Every time I have gone, they tell me the price is one thing but I always get a follow up bill asking for more money. They cancelled all appointments that were set up over the summer which I understood because of the pandemic. I finally rescheduled for today for me and my kids. I told the person who set up my appointment last week that I just want to reschedule the appointment I had set up in either June or July that was cancelled which was for a cleaning. When I went in for my appointment, I was told that I was scheduled for an exam and there were already two other confirmed cleanings, but I could wait to see if they showed up, if not then I could be seen, and I was well over 10 minutes early. I set up an appointment for this day because me and the kids were off school and work. The person who set up my appointment asked the same exact question the receptionist did which was do you have any concerns, I told them both no. The receptionist automatically asked why I set up an exam. If the receptionist asked that, you would think the person setting up the appointment would wonder why am I setting up an exam if she has no concerns. On top of the fact that I told her to just reschedule for what was cancelled. This was the last straw for me, I will be going elsewhere. I would advise that you do the same if you are reading this.

I am a patient here for checkups - no insurance. I just got off the phone with the receptionist. I wanted a ballpark quote on an exam and cleaning. The exam I was quoted at $107 and for the cleaning the receptionist said I would need to come in and I can only get it after the exam. Again, no insurance. I explained I wanted to be financially prepared so if she would give me the amount for the deep cleaning (even if I didn't need it) I would be prepared to cover the expense. She said she understood but could not give me a quote. I pressed for a quote one more time... Her last response was "if you can't understand that, you can go somewhere else". I have been a receptionist for a dental office, I have never responded in this manner to anyone. Very unprofessional. Maybe they have enough business to where they don't need mine, but I do think they need to treat everyone with respect. Mind you, this has not been the only incident with this location but that is a story for a different day.

As I walked in, a patient walked out upset over the level of service and billing tactics, this should've been the first red flag. They lure you in with a $59 new patient cleaning, but its just a discount on 1 quadrant while the other 3 are well over $100. Won't give you the basic cleaning if you have any signs of periodontal disease, which MOST people have. And they try to upsell and just seem money-hungry overall, avoiding cheaper options for treatment. Went in for the cleaning but they wouldn't do it without spending $500+ and nearly had to pay $59 for just the x-rays just so I could leave. Either that or schedule the cleaning for later and have to pay a $100+ deposit. Manipulative, scam kind of tactics. I did not go in for X-rays, I expected a CLEANING for the advertised $59, the X-rays were just an excuse to find other things to run up the bill. And the X-rays, very unprofessional, their bite-wing equipment was broken, they had to re-do the X-rays at least 2x over, it took over an hour and with all sorts of extra radiation exposure. I probably got the same radiation as 3 dental exams.
