An intraoral camera is an indispensable diagnostic and educational tool. The tiny video camera moves around inside of your mouth and generates a tooth by tooth video exam of your teeth. Using an intraoral camera allows patients to better understand their dental needs by seeing what the dentist sees and then having it explained.
Lasers are a non-surgical approach to arresting the progression of periodontal disease. Following scaling and root planing, a laser is used to significantly reduce the bacterial colonies and decontaminate the infected periodontal pocket. Lasers also remove the infected tissue lining the periodontal pocket. As the infected tissue is removed, microscopic blood clots form and your body's natural healing response takes over. As you heal, the tissue reattaches to the bone and your gums return to a healthy infection-free state.
Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) is an advanced, proven technology that provides more precise three-dimensional (3D) imaging for more accurate diagnosis and treatment of oral health conditions. 3D dental X-rays can uncover issues that may not be detectable with 2D X-rays. Kassy made a scary deep cleaning into a pleasant experience. From start to finish Kassy had my comfort as her top priority. Bonus points because she's absolutely hilarious & for the first time in years I feel like I have a healthy mouth thanks to her and Dr. Kaz.

I'm almost 70, and have been to many, many dentists (Braces, etc) in various states in those seven decades. I can say Dr. Lee and her practice is by far the best dentistry I have encountered. I'm disabled, have many medical issues requiring special attention, and Dr. Lee, without ever being asked, has gone the extra mile to accommodate my needs every time I visit. Her advice has been excellent and the procedures recommended have been conservative and pricing well explained in advance. Also, I have a new favorite hygienist: Kassy. In the many years of going to this practice, I can't complain about any hygienist, but today, Kassy stood head & shoulders above! I am quite ill today, and additionally have a tongue infection. Kassy's periodontal cleaning with laser and irrigation was so gentle and she was extremely caring thoughout. She's my hygienist for life! And my daughter sees Dr. Kas and loves her too. We also have to give a shout-out to Dr Maines. We've both had root canals done by him and need to brag on how wonderful he and his team are with root canals. Easiest, best(est) & fastest root canals in 70 years - no kidding!

They just called me to confirm an appointment that they already called me the other day to cancel. Keep in mind I scheduled this appointment for a simple cleaning six months ago. While I was explaining to them that I was deciding to switch dentists because of a few bad experiences, they hung up. Everyone here has treated me with a massive amount of disrespect besides the dentist who actually owns this practice. Go figure. I'm not surprised she would be the only one to treat patients with respect. My last experience was going in for a cleaning covered by insurance. I declined a very expensive deep cleaning ($1,000) and they sent me away without sending a hygienist in to clean my teeth. I have great oral hygiene and didn't need actually the deep cleaning whatsoever. They're just trained to upsell. They have also misdiagnosed cavities in the past and tried to give me root canals where other dentists say there is no cavity, no work needs done. Dentists are like mechanics lately. Hard to find an honest one who won't over diagnose any problem you come to them with.

I have been going to Aurora Modern Dentistry for 11 years and my teeth and gums have improved noticeably with their care! Kassy is a great hygienist who is fun and works hard to remove those stubborn coffee stains! I cannot recommend them enough!

I spent almost two hours here and didn't get a cleaning. I just got x-rays and an exam. I've never been asked to get a deep cleaning in 40 years and I didn't have any cavities. Yet they wanted me to pay for a deep cleaning and wouldn't give me a regular one. It felt like a scam and they charge 35 dollars for a cancer screening. I just wanted my teeth cleaned. It was a waste of time and I will never come back here. Places like this are why people hate going to the dentist. Two hours of my day off were wasted not to mention the dentist kept calling me girl. I might look young, but I'm 40 years old and not your friend it was really unprofessional.

I have been a patient of Dr. Kaz for many years and love her! She's not only an awesome Dentist, but an awesome person! I actually look forward to my visit's. Who "looks forward" to going to the Dentist? Lol! We share our dog pic's at every visit. . My Hygienist Jasmine was great too! Very thorough, knowledgeable and gentle. The whole visit is seamless. Dr. Kaz has been my dentist for the last year and a half and she has been the best dentist I've ever had! Alexis has been so kind and accommodating that even last minute emergencies have been a wonderful an experience with them. I have been a modern dentistry customer for years, and gone to two other locations, but upon moving to this one, will not be continuing business. They are unable to schedule accurately, unable to put insurance and billing in correctly or answer questions about any of the related, and are not transparent about services before they are rendered. If I were to continue with the modern dentistry chain, it will not be for inadequate service at this location, when the other two locations (castle rock and Brighton) have been able to provide basic services and answers I have needed.
