Digital X-rays offer a huge advantage in early detection and preventive services. Advanced image manipulation and analysis, for example, allows your doctor to detect early stages of gum disease through recognition of bone level changes, or by evaluating the results against a previous treatment.
An intraoral camera is an indispensable diagnostic and educational tool. The tiny video camera moves around inside of your mouth and generates a tooth by tooth video exam of your teeth. Using an intraoral camera allows patients to better understand their dental needs by seeing what the dentist sees and then having it explained.
Lasers are a non-surgical approach to arresting the progression of periodontal disease. Following scaling and root planing, a laser is used to significantly reduce the bacterial colonies and decontaminate the infected periodontal pocket. Lasers also remove the infected tissue lining the periodontal pocket. As the infected tissue is removed, microscopic blood clots form and your body's natural healing response takes over. As you heal, the tissue reattaches to the bone and your gums return to a healthy infection-free state.

Amazing team, starting from the receptionist to the end of my visit. Lourdes who was bilingual was very kind, helpful and knew exactly what she was doing and interpreting for the Dr. Visits to the dental offices where not a good experience in the past and I'm glad to say this dental office will be the one I'll be always scheduling when ever l need anything!

Trying so hard to get payment out of pocket and upsell to non-insurance priced materials and avoid my insurance completely. After putting my share on the Care Credit card, the shop continues to bill me for extra and has now sent my name for collection activity. Stay away

As a former employee here at this office. I want to strongly speak against this team. From incorrect and weary financial estimates to inexcusable dental treatment. If youre looking for a great patient experience this is NOT the office for you. I have proof and record of mistreatment off all sorts, but especially with LGBTQ members and the African American community. The office had potential but maybe in another owners hands.

Unfair treatment of African Americans. Only really hire them to make their office more "diverse". Staff is extremely rude. If you can save the trouble and go somewhere else. The Doctor there practically forces people to write a good review. Im currently a patient here and was threatened with trespassing. When IM A PATIENT there. Absolutely ridiculous.

I have overwhelming anxiety around every aspect of dental work for as long as I can remember. The staff could not have done more to check in with me thoughout the procedure. And make sure I never got overwhelmed.I could not be more grateful to all of the staff

Recently became a new patient at Dr. Tesar's office - my prior experience at another Aurora dental facility was not the best and they closed their office, so had to seek out new options. I was pleasantly surprised with my first initial appointment which was a deep cleaning, and my second yesterday was my wisdom teeth removal performed by the oral surgeon. I think the staff here does a good job of making one feel welcome, I'm sure they all have personalities that are naturally warm and treat all kindly, but we were chatting and got through the cleanings, exams, etc. as if we were already friends! That means a lot for someone who has anxiety visiting the dentist and who may not have the best experience in the past/growing up. Facility is nice and clean and up to date. Here's to more visits and hopefully getting closer to my dental care goals! Thanks a bunch all. EDIT SEPTEMBER 2022 - I've been a patient at the office for 2 years now. I visit the office every 3 months for routine cleanings and care. Dr. Tesar has an incredible team with kind, considerate and personable individuals. Bri, Steven, Beth, Shalem, Sakoya and Lulu (to name a few) go above and beyond to make folks comfortable. It's a vulnerable position to be in, going to the dentist and feeling like you're "tested" regarding your oral hygiene. For many folks, including myself, this vital aspect of our health was not a priority growing up. Now that I'm in control of what I prioritize, I've learned that my anxiety towards the dentist has significantly lessened due to this office in particular - even if you're not "aceing" the test, you're still treated with decency and humility. A few years ago I would've never guessed I would be so regular at the dentist. These folks do whatever they can to make you comfortable and walk you through the process - no detail or question is too big or small. Grateful that Aurora has this wonderful dentistry.

Great experience! For someone who doesn't care for the dentist it was a pleasurable experience. The front staff was welcoming & helpful with booking. The doctor was very helpful with explaining the dental concerns in a way that was understandable & showed me the xrays alongside the conversation. The doctor also was able to prioritize the work and left final decision to me and financial abilities. I left feeling very educated and well taken care of.

Dr. Douglas G Lee told my fiance that he had a severe case of gingivitis that required $700 cleanings every 3 months, that he needed a root canal, 2 cavities filled, and a sleep test because he had acid reflux. When my fiance asked follow up questions, the doctor shut him down and said "because I told you that's what it is". The doctor quoted him $2400. He went to get a second opinion with another dentist and they told him he had a mild case of gingivitis that could be corrected with a new toothpaste and flossing and two cavities (one of which didn't even need a filling because it was so small). They said he grinds his teeth but he has no signs of acid reflux. The total bill came out to $220.

Great office and staff! Dr. Tesar took her time explaining all the options I had, as well as their benefits and possible downsides. They did an amazing job on my crown, and Brianna, the office manager took great care in sorting out a complicated billing request. The office and equipment are new, and the place is bright and clean. I have had some difficult times with my last two dentists, but feel like I have finally found a winner.

I had a great experience at this clinic. The office is very clean with all the modern facilities and equipments. I felt very comfortable with every step of my treatment. Huge shout and thanks to Stephen at the reception for a smooth check in process and providing a detail explaination of the billing and insurance complications, Lulu for awesome job on the X-Rays, Shalem for her meticulous work on the cleaning and Dr. Tesar for a detailed exam and providing explanation of everything. Overall, I felt the team work was very efficient and everyone seemed to be in great sync!
