As the Practice Administrator, I am responsible for practice growth, operating procedures and team member development. My number one priority is ensuring that our team exceeds patient expectations while providing dental care and customer service. Im dedicated to having a dental practice with a reputation for great service, phenomenal care, and exceptional dentistry. I am confident that you will feel very welcomed when you visit our office. I am also very hands-on. You wont find me hiding in an office. I am here to support each team member in fulfilling our mission to help others and improve our patients overall health and quality of life.
My experiences have allowed me to work with a number of doctors and teams over the years. I was recruited by Doctor Kanani in January, 2016; to partner with her in achieving her visions for Aurora Bright Dental. I highly respect Doctor Kananis passion for dentistry, her commitment to learning, and devotion to patients. She has a truly unique character. She genuinely loves what she does, her patients, and her team. Weve created a culture that supports every individual, values their contributions, allows people to succeed, and a sense of family in our practice.
Im originally from the East Coast. I grew up in South East Virginia. After spending some time in Minnesota and Pennsylvania, I came to Illinois in 1999. Where my father retired back to his home of Chicago; from serving our country in the Navy.
My family all reside here in Illinois, so this is home for me. I loved what Virginia offered. I had access to the ocean, the mountains, the forests and Washington D.C. I really appreciate the outdoors, and being surrounded by nature. I enjoy hiking, camping, and being on my motorcycle. If the weather is right, youll certainly find me riding.
I graduated in Virginia and began my dental career in 1993. I started as a Clinical Assistant and have performed various roles throughout my career. Ive also held positions in retail and property management. Ive always been most passionate about dentistry. Throughout my dental career, Ive continued to expand my knowledge and education in dental practice management, operating procedures, and team dynamics. I am driven by advocating the importance of maintaining ideal oral health, developing an exceptional dental team, and facilitating superior dental care.

I have never had a good experience at a dental office until I came to Aurora Bright Dental. Dr. Kanani is very nice and takes good care of her patients. I highly recommend this dental office they do a great job.

I have been going here for the last 7-8 years and I am never disappointed. Dr. Kanani and her staff are great. The office and tools are very clean. The service excellent. They take time to explain everything, I highly recommend.

They are friendly and really know what they are doing. They give you Options to make your smile bright. Nice atmosphere and I'm a baby and they made me feel great! Once again Doctor is great, doesn't hurt you and takes her time!

The man who I believe is the owner is ver disrespectful. My first visit was amazing working with the women...my second experience wasn't so great the phone customer support/owner was terrible this place will never touch my teeth back to my old dentist I go...

First time at Aurora Bright Dental 4/19 Staff was absolutely amazing had the pleasure of meeting dental assistant Seny H and Dr. Kanani such a great team! Both made me feel comfortable and fully educated on my options and procedures being done. The whole experience was amazing office is clean modern and organized, reception was professional and were able to accommodate my busy schedule at work and answer all questions about privacy. I will absolutely recommend family and friends here for any dental needs. Thank You!

Very extremely professional have been coming in with her in the past and was having issues with my wisdom teeth and was able to fit me into dr. Kanani schedule. At the moment of the procedure only took 1 hour and didn't feel a thing I would for sure be coming to her with any of my dental needs. All of her dental assistants are helpful and very welcoming such a great atmosphere.

As you walk in, you are greeted as family. Everyone seems genuinely happy to be working there. Bilingual office, and veryyy clean as you would expect for an establishment. The Dentists/assistants actually care and inquire about your dental health. I always leave feeling confident about my smile ; ) .

Going to Aurora Bright Dental is like visiting friends that happen to be the awesome Dentist and her staff. I've had extensive work in the past two years and it was pain free. Dr Kanani made sure I was always completely comfortable and pain free. Great experience! Highly recommend!

After years of not going to the dentist and being afraid I found aurora bright dental. Everything was excellent from Ameer at the front desk to Seny the assistant. The service and care was excellent, the facility is clean and they are very thorough! Also se habla espanol!

As someone obsessed with my teeth, I was impressed by the lengths the dental staff went to properly document the condition of my teeth. Both the dental and office staff were knowledgeable, detail-oriented, and customer service-oriented. I especially appreciated fillable pdf forms available online. They also took care to ensure I understood the costs of upcoming procedures as well as their purpose. They never pushed unnecessary procedures and products. All in all, I trust that I am in good hands both administratively by Ameer and Yahdi (sp?), and medically with Dr. Kanani and Seny. I look forward to my next visit!

I haven't been to the dentist in years and although my previous dentists were always great at what they did.. I don't think I've ever had an entire staff that is as exceptional as this one here. I used to be so fearful of my trips to the dentist as a child (and even up to my adult years) but this staff knows how to not only put you at ease, but actually follow through with minimal to no pain at all! They are constantly explaining what they're doing while they're doing it and are so willing to answer any questions you may have. All the way from the office manager Ameer, to the dental assistant Sunny.. To the dental hygienist Jazmin and of course the amazing Dr. Kanani... I honestly cannot emphasize how friendly they ALL are and I am so mind blown with their professionalism! I cannot emphasize how blessed I am to have found this place. I pray that I never have to go to another dentist office other than this one! Thank you guys for providing such phenomenal service. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND AURORA BRIGHT DENTAL!

My 2 kids and I have been patients of Dr. Kanani for over 10+ years. Dr. Kanani, Yasmin, Ameer, & Seni are amazing people. They are so professional, friendly, gentle, compassionate, and understanding. I always dreaded the dentist as a kid into adulthood, and when I found Dr. Kanani and her team I trusted them instantly. My kids immediately loved Dr. Kanani at the ages of 3 and 4. As a single mother of two boys, I truly appreciated them. They always scheduled treatments or payments to fit my needs. I've had everything from cleanings to Pinhole Surgical Technique (PST). People always compliment my smile. To say I have recommended my family and friends is an understatement- I recommend everyone! Dr. Kanani and her team are a second family.

I was recommended to get dental health services from a friend a 4 years ago, and I've continued to go ever since. They always take care of me and they put in a lot of effort to make sure I get the best treatment! It's nice and clean. It's worth every penny.
