As the Practice Administrator, I am responsible for practice growth, operating procedures and team member development. My number one priority is ensuring that our team exceeds patient expectations while providing dental care and customer service. Im dedicated to having a dental practice with a reputation for great service, phenomenal care, and exceptional dentistry. I am confident that you will feel very welcomed when you visit our office. I am also very hands-on. You wont find me hiding in an office. I am here to support each team member in fulfilling our mission to help others and improve our patients overall health and quality of life.
My experiences have allowed me to work with a number of doctors and teams over the years. I was recruited by Doctor Kanani in January, 2016; to partner with her in achieving her visions for Aurora Bright Dental. I highly respect Doctor Kananis passion for dentistry, her commitment to learning, and devotion to patients. She has a truly unique character. She genuinely loves what she does, her patients, and her team. Weve created a culture that supports every individual, values their contributions, allows people to succeed, and a sense of family in our practice.
Im originally from the East Coast. I grew up in South East Virginia. After spending some time in Minnesota and Pennsylvania, I came to Illinois in 1999. Where my father retired back to his home of Chicago; from serving our country in the Navy.
My family all reside here in Illinois, so this is home for me. I loved what Virginia offered. I had access to the ocean, the mountains, the forests and Washington D.C. I really appreciate the outdoors, and being surrounded by nature. I enjoy hiking, camping, and being on my motorcycle. If the weather is right, youll certainly find me riding.
I graduated in Virginia and began my dental career in 1993. I started as a Clinical Assistant and have performed various roles throughout my career. Ive also held positions in retail and property management. Ive always been most passionate about dentistry. Throughout my dental career, Ive continued to expand my knowledge and education in dental practice management, operating procedures, and team dynamics. I am driven by advocating the importance of maintaining ideal oral health, developing an exceptional dental team, and facilitating superior dental care.
