Mehnaz Aslam joined Aura in 2011 and brings with her a combined experience of dental assisting and admin management for over 10 years. Northern Virginia has been home to Mehnaz for 17 years. She obtained her Associates from Northern Virginia Community College and is currently attending Strayer University. She has always possessed an interest for making a difference in the health industry and after graduating from High School was headed in the direction to become a pharmacist, till she started asummer job at a dental office as a part-time scheduling coordinator. There she tapped into her deep-rooted passion for the field of Dentistry.This motivation sent her on a path to become a Dental Assistant, doing chair-side assisting and introduced her administrative side of the business, initially as a floating scheduling coordinator. Rest is history, but now she runs the daily affairs of the practice as an Office Manager and is the backbone of its success. She takes immense pride in her job and strives to provide outstanding patient service; every patient, every time. Mehnaz, is happily married, has a beautiful daughter and resides in Alexandria, VA.

Dr. Yi and his staff are very friendly and personable!!! They explained every part of the procedure prior to beginning. Before I knew it, the Dental Implant procedure was completed without any pain whatsoever! Dr. Yi followed up later in the day calling me to check me! I highly recommend Aura Dentistry to anyone wanting friendly, professional and proficient service!!!

In the past, going to a dentist was an "uneasy" experience; yet the Aura Dentistry group makes the entire visit an easy process. Greeted by cheerful and capable Manaz is the first indication. The reception area and rooms are tranquil and clean - appreciate the selection of background music. My dentist, Dr, Chung Yi, then makes me feel so comfortable about the work that is being done ... time flies by! I have been there several times for "emergency appointments", and they have always been extremely accommodating. I highly recommend!

Great small practice. Had a dental emergency on the weekend and the doctor was able to see us within an hour - even though we were not existing patients. They were very professional and compassionate. Our dentist retired and we just found our new dentist. Highly recommend.

I couldn't ask for a better practice or dentist. Dr Tehrani saw me last minute for an emergency before a holiday weekend! The care I received was above and beyond. I am so grateful and happy a practice like this exists!

This dentist office was great. They were a referral and a second opinion... Because of him they were able to save my tooth from having to be extracted. Everyone was very friendly and I highly recommend their office!

Dr. Tehrani is always very gentle and does an amazing job! I recommend her for any of your dental needs. Her and her team are the best. I've had cleanings; deep cleanings; bleaching; Invisaline braces; and sealant done by her and I've always had the best results.

Dr Yi has been attentive and very accommodating. I have not seen another dentist since I moved here 10 years ago. I am comfortable going to see him always bc I leave feeling cared for and trust it's going to be alright w the treatments I needed tho I still get anxious no matter what bc it's a lot of work to get numbed and drilled and all that. Bless Dr Yi!! August update: Was fitted for a mouth guard for sensitivity on right side identified as clenching/grinding issues vs tooth issues. A+

My family and I go to Dr. Yi's practice for all of our dental work. Specifically, I have been incredibly happy with the work he has done. I've had a slew of different dental professionals work on my teeth, however, Dr. Yi is someone I trust more than the rest! I would recommend Dr. Yi to anyone I care about for any dental needs.
