Dr. Auld was born and raised in McAlester, Oklahoma where he graduated from McAlester High School. He received a bachelor of science degree in chemistry from the University of Oklahoma and a doctoral of dental science degree from Oklahoma University College of Dentistry.
Dr. Auld has been a member of the American Dental Association, Oklahoma Dental Association, and Eastern District Dental Society since 1982. He is also apassed President of the Oklahoma Dental Association 2011-2012.
Dr. Auld was a member of the Oklahoma State Board of Dentistry from 2000-2003, Team Captain Examiner for the Western Regional Examination Board from 2002-present, and President of the Eastern District Dental Society in 1987. He served on the ODA Council on Dental Education from 1986-1990, chaired the Council on Constitution and Bylaws in 1991 and has been a member of the House of Delegates since 1984. Furthermore, his contribution as a member of the Strategic Planning Committee and the Task Force on Membership Participation helped lay the foundation for a three-year roadmap for the Association and generated ideas for increasing member involvement in the ODA. He was the Eastern District Trustee on the ODA Board of Trustees from 2005-2008 and has served on the Committee on Endorsed Products and Services since 2007. Dr. Auld was inducted as a Fellow of the Pierre Fauchard Academy in 1992.
From 1992-1996 he chaired both the McAlester Regional Health Center Authority and the McAlester Public Health Authority. He has been a member of the McAlester Scottish Rite Advisory Conference since 2005 and an Elder of the Presbyterian Church since 1984. In 2004 he was a commissioned Lay Delegate to the Presbyterian Church USA General Assembly. Dr. Auld is in private practice in McAlester where he resides with his wife and inspiration Jane. They have two wonderful daughters Emily and Elizabeth.
Dr. Michael Auld was born and reared in McAlester, Oklahoma. He is the son of Larry and Jane Ann Auld. Hewas a salutatorian of McAlester High School,graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Biochemistry with honors from Oklahoma Baptist University in 2005, and is a graduate of The University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry, where he graduated with distinction.
Dr. Michael Auld is a member of The American and Oklahoma Dental Associations, The Academy of General Dentistry, and The American Orthodontic Society. Dr. Auld had extensive post graduate training in orthodontics and implant surgery to better serve the dental needs of our patients. He is committed to excellence in orthodontics for children and adults. Dr. Auld has completed over 1,000 hours of continuing education and has completed hundreds of cases.

Dr. Michael Auld introduced me to an oral appliance used in lessening my sleep apnea symptoms. The appliance is small, comfortable, and now I am getting better sleep with fewer interruptions during sleep caused sleep apnea. I highly recommend working with Dr. Michael Auld if you are experiencing sleep apnea.

I took my 2 yr old & 4 yr old to Auld's today for their first dentist appointments and everything was phenomenal! Carla, the hygienist, was so sweet and patient with them. She made them balloon animals!! She also showed them the tools she uses. She sprayed water in their hand and then suctioned it up so they would know what it feels like and not be scared. Dr. Auld was just as amazing with the kids also and didn't force my shy 4 yr old to show him her teeth. He just said maybe next time. So patient, kind, and caring! Highly recommend this dentist office.

The absolute best dental care in McAlester, Ok. They take very good care whether you're a child or adult. If I could rate 6 stars I would! Extremely clean and professional. They're awesome.

Extremely professional, and caring. I've always had anxiety around the dentist, and they were really accommodating to that fact. They are all so very nice, and I would recommend them to any one!

I am not at all happy with this dental office. I made an appointment for a routine cleaning, but they diagnosed expensive treatment ($1700) and refused to do the cleaning I came in for. I went to 2 other dentists for their opinions and each said that expensive treatment was not necessary. I was charged $300 for x-rays that were not needed or wanted. I'd just had x-rays done at another facility a few weeks before. When I expressed my unhappiness with their service and cost for essentially nothing, I was told they are "happy" I found out I did not need the treatment, justified that they didn't want to do a lot of probing on my first visit, and that I saved $70 on the x-rays that were useless to me.

Not a fan of Dentist office but Dr Michael Auld changed my mind. He and his staff especially his little assistant made sure I was comfortable with explaining every step. Bad experiences with other local dentist but not with Dr Michael. Would recommend him to friends and family or anybody. Great job on me.
