Dr. Fojas was born in the Philippines. At the age of two his family immigrated to the United States. He grew up in Steubenville, Ohio and graduated from Steubenville Catholic Central High School. After completing his studies at Kent State, he attended The Ohio State College of Dentistry where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Dr. Fojas has lived in the Columbus area for over 20 years. He is a loving husband to his wife Sherri, involved father to Sam, Sydney and Sophie. His interests include the Buckeyes, tennis, hiking and gardening. He is actively involved in Xenos Christian Fellowship where he and wife help lead a college home based bible study. In his spare time, he regularly volunteers at a local food pantry. A graduate from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry, Dr. Fojas is a member of the American Dental Association, the Ohio Dental Association and the Columbus Dental Society. He has been involved with the non-profit organization Christinas Smile, which delivers dental care to children in communities in need. He is also committed to continuing education through frequent participation in advanced hands-on courses, lectures and local study clubs.

Originally from South Carolina, she moved to Ohio in 1983 where she attended Worthington High School. Her junior and senior year she concurrently attended Capital University and later graduated in business management. She currently lives in Westerville, has four children and two grandchildren, her youngest will graduate from North.

She began working with Dr. Fojas as an emergency substitute in November 2012, where she started out assisting in the back and was asked to come fill in on a regular basis in the back and at the front. She was promoted to office manager shortly after Cheryl retired. She enjoys the continuing education that being a part of Paragon and the ODA affords all of us to be able to give the best dental care to our patients. She enjoys spending time with her family, rappelling, and being outdoors.

Born and raised in Ohio currently residing in Westerville. A 1992 Graduate of The Ohio State University, College of Dentistry, Division of Dental Hygiene with a Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene and an area of specialization in health science education and community health.

She graduated dental assistant school in North Carolina July 2020 from a community college. Her passion has always been dentistry since a young age and dreamed of being in the field and hopes to one day move over to Hygiene.

Joanna was originally a native Californian, she moved to Ohio in 1983. She started part time for Dr. Fojas in 2003 as his chairside assistant. This is where she developed a growing love for dentistry and was nurtured and encouraged by Dr. Fojas, staff, and friends to take classes to receive specific certifications to restore teeth. She completed her training at The Ohio State University in 2009 and received an Expanded Function Dental Auxiliary (EFDA) certification from the Ohio Dental Board.

As such she can place restorative white and silver fillings. She is dedicated to the same TLC and aesthetics as the Doctor, and fully enjoys her career. She also received her coronal polish certification while studying at OSU. After some kicking and screaming, Dr. Fojas donated his time at the EFDA Clinic and she restored three of HIS teeth. The running joke at the office is that she slapped him around the EFDA clinic to make sure he was numb.

Chellsea was born and raised in Marengo, Ohio. Chellsea joined Dr. Fojas and his team in May of 2021 where she started her career as part of the front office team, she will be the first face you see when walking through our doors.

She enjoys baseball season where she can watch the Cincinnati Reds face off against every team in the league. As a former softball player, her obsession with baseball may make her a little bit more excited when watching.

Originally from Big Sky Montana, Ashley comes to us as a Pacific Northwest Native. As such, her interests include hiking, paddleboarding, camping, and racquetball. Since the age of 18, Ashley set herself on a path to becoming a dental hygienist. She moved across the country to attend Columbus State where she graduated to become a Registered Dental Hygienist.

During school, she owned a home cleaning business where she learned attention to detail in cleaning. She loves to get to know her patients and share her dental knowledge to help educate and lead them to a healthier mouth.

Illona has always had a passion for dentistry growing up and thats why she decided to become a dental assistant. She went to the southwest career academy and has been a dental assistant for 6 years. Illona was born and raised in Ohio and she has 5 brothers and 6 sisters. She loves spending time with her family.

Her family is originally from Russian/Ukraine and they moved to America about 26 years ago. She is married and loves to spend time with her husband Alex. They love to be adventurous and enjoy the outdoors together, she also loves to travel. She goes to Rock city church and loves to serve there.
