We're a community of caregivers made up of the most sought after and specialized medical and research professionals in their fields, offering the most advanced health care services in a 478-bed adult hospital, the 154-bed Childrens Hospital of Georgia, the Georgia Cancer Center, and more than 80 outpatient clinics across Georgia and South Carolina. From the most comprehensive and complex cancer care and telestroke network, to the regions only Level I Trauma Center and only Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit for critically ill infants with an air transport team we do what others simply can't.

Since 2000, Augusta University Health System has been the only regional health provider to have its physicians consistently ranked among the top 1% in the nation by Castle Connolly Medical Ltd. and included in the national database of Americas Top Doctors for cancer, neurology, cardiovascular, gastroenterology, otolaryngology, urology, rheumatology, and plastic surgery services. But we didnt stop there. Over 50 AU Health physicians are among the top doctors in the region, making them some of the most experienced, educated and awarded professionals throughout the Southeast.

What do we offer that others cant? Life-saving expertise and care. Our list of onlys continues to grow each and every year and includes the highest-level Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, the only pediatric emergency department with fellowship-trained physicians, a statewide telehealth network, bone marrow and stem cell transplant program, chest pain center, and Electrophysiology Lab in the region. Its no wonder why we serve as the regional coordinating hospital for Georgias East Central District and help respond to statewide natural disasters and events impacting the health of Georgians everywhere. Additionally, our teams travel to cities and towns throughout Georgia and South Carolina to teach the care techniques of tomorrow to patient providers today.

Why do people choose us? Our overarching commitment to a better tomorrow. That means we step up and out each and every day to solve the problems were uniquely qualified to tackle. Like the COVID-19 pandemic and mobilizing the resources necessary for statewide testing and screening. And, when COVID-19 vaccines became available, we were there, too, launching vaccination locations in permanent and underserved locations throughout the two-state. We know our calling, and were always here to answer. Our commitment is evidenced through the generous support of corporations and non-profit organizations across the county including Augusta National Golf Club, the Community Foundation of the CSRA, Peach Bowl, Peach State Health Plan, and many more. Want to be part of our story? We encourage you to join us. You wont regret it.

Bad service, wasted 30 minutes of our times and still told us that we had to reschedule, and their employees were not well trained. They said we can arrive at 11:15 but no later , we arrived at 11:14 but they did not let us in. When we are early we still have to wait 30 minutes, and when we are right on times they still won't let us in. Also every time we had to drive 40-45 minutes here and they didn't have empathy for us.

I have been trying to reach out to them for MONTHS. The guy who picked up my last call (month ago) laughed at my face when I told him I had a referral and said it took 6 months for me to get an appointment, my regular dentist and my wisdom teeth dentist from other places had told me to get a cap ASAP I'm a 18 year old I should not have to be on top of them for them to provide me with some decent service (this is the only place that accepts my insurance) . Now I'm up at 5 am in pain writing this review so hopefully they see this over the weekend and give me a call or I'm going to straight up show to their location and sit there until they treat me like a person.

This could really be a nice place if the support staff at the desk didn't have bad attitudes and exhibit very unprofessional rude behavior. They should not be the first encounter a person should experience coming to the clinic. This is not a one time experience they always have the same behavior. For that reason I will not return or refer anyone to receive treatment there. Don't know who's in charge of training but the staff at the front definitely need additional education and training on professionalism in the work place.

I am looking for a new dental clinic. I do not want to return to a place with so much negative energy and so little empathy for patients. Due to a series of unavoidable events during the day, I was late for my appointment. They checked me in anyway, but when I was heading to the back, three staff people were standing together talking about a late patient. They were clearly angry. One woman said, "She's almost twenty minutes late? That's disrespectful to the doctor!" They glared at me as I walked by. I understand them being annoyed that I was late, but they didn't need to be nasty about it. I really feel that they took my lateness personally and disliked me for it, and I don't want to put my care in the hands of people who dislike me. Their hatefulness just made a bad day worse.

Dr. Griffin and his assistant Karenwere great. He would explain everything and go an extra mile to see you sooner if needed. The reason that I am giving it once star is the fact that staff at the front desk both check in and check out was extremely unprofessional, rude, unkind, and disrespectful. I am a physician myself and I am stunned to see such disrespectful and condescending behavior of the staff when they have such bright and competent doctors. They charged me wrong and upon correction and mentioning politely to see if there can possibly an error, she starting saying very rudely that is what it is and this is what I have to pay. I had to request Dr. griffin's assistant to look into it upon realizing that she was mistaken, she did not apologize. Same goes for the medical record where she did not give complete records and falcified they information by saying that They have given everything. It is such a shame to see the behavior of such horrible support staff when they have such great Doctors. Completely disappointed.

2 stars only for initial, where my daughter was treated kindly by dentist and staff. All other services would be 0 stars! My daughter is in need of braces and this is the only place that accepts her insurance. She was seen in September 2018. We were told it was going to be around April that she would be able to get the braces placed, we were understanding and made an appointment. Two weeks before the appt. we were called and told they would have to reschedule. Come June we call and they say it is going to be another 6 months due to changes in staff. In no way is that our fault. Needless to say, we are going elsewhere, we refuse to keep playing this game, clearly our business is not important, which is sad, she really liked the dentist she saw!

The staff is very nice and I was happy with my first visit and I am hoping that my surgery goes well. Though its a little concerning that I might not be able to contact them if I have questions or concerns post operation because No one will answer the phone. I was on hold for well over an hour (not exaggerating). When I finally made contact I begged the lady not to transfer me and put me on hold again but she explained that they were short handed and she would try to notify the Oral surgery department to pick up the phone. They must be short handed every day because it does not matter what day or time you call you will not get through and do not fall for that "call back" service they offer its a trap. No one will call you back. I understand it is a large university with a large flow of patients and I understand having to wait I'm not that unreasonable but if it weren't for the glowing recommendation from my father about how awesome the staff is and how well they did on his teeth I would have gone somewhere else. The staff is very nice and the facility is nice. I plan to go in 2 hours early in hopes of getting to talk to someone in person rather than try to call again. I will edit this review after my surgery . Based on other reviews they do good work they just need more staff on phone duty.
