Dr. Jennifer Humm, DMD grew up in Charlotte, NC. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and pursued her dental degree at the Dental College of Georgia and has called the CSRA her home for the last seven years. Dr. Humm is a member of the American Dental Association, Georgia Dental Association, American Academy of Facial Esthetics, and the Academy of Laser Dentistry. Dr. Humm also has advanced certifications in Botulinum Toxins & Dermal Fillers, Implant placement, and is an Invisalign provider. Dr. Humm has volunteered to provide dental care to the underserved through Georgias Missions of Mercy and traveled to Haiti on mission trips. She loves her patients and she loves her job!
Dr. Amber N. Ivey, DMD grew up in Warrenton, Georgia, where she attended elementary, middle, and high school. She attended Fort Valley State University obtaining a Bachelors degree in biology followed by the Dental College of Georgia in Augusta, Georgia. After completing her professional graduate program in May of 2017 completed a two year General Practice Residency at Dental College of Georgia in 2019.
Dr. Ivey is a highly skilled oral health professional with diversified experience in various dental procedures. She has continued her passion for dentistry as a private practice dentist and thoroughly enjoys the opportunity to serve the local community and people of the greater CSRA.
Apart from her profession, Dr. Ivey is a proud member of the Augusta Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated. There she devotes her efforts to aiding in the community outreach projects and exemplifying a servant leader.
Dr.CameronRobert, DMD grew up in Dunwoody, GA. She attended Elon University in Elon, North Carolina where she earned a Bachelors of Science in Biology. Dr.Robertthen received her dental degree from the Dental College of Georgia.
During school, she held several leadership positions on her class executive board, Operation Smile, and Student Chapter of the American Association for Pediatric Dentistry, and completed a research project focused on the efficacy of restorative dental materials.
In her free time, Dr.Robertspends time walking along the canal with her dog, trying new recipes she finds on Pinterest, and talking shop with her husband who is a pediatric dental resident at the Dental College of Georgia.
Originally from a small town 45 minutes outside of Atlanta, Savannah moved to Augusta in 2014 to start her college career at Augusta University. She graduated with a Bachelors degree in Dental Hygiene in 2019.
Savannah loves working at Augusta Family Dental and being able to make her patients aware of the importance of their oral health. Cleaning teeth and giving optimal dental care everyday brings her so much joy! The entire team has made her feel like family and she strives to make her patients feel the same way.
When shes not working, Savannah enjoys spending time with her friends, wiener dogs, and family. Her favorite thing to do is to spend time outside in nature or work out at the gym. She tries to stay active, but can always enjoy a romantic/comedy movie and glass of sweet white wine!
Wakia is a native of Augusta, Georgia with 14 years of experience as a dental assistant. Her years of experience have instilled a passion for the dental field. Wakias dedication to serving patients with the best of her abilities encouraged her to pursue a Bachelors Degree of Science in Dental Hygiene at Augusta University. This recent 2020 graduate is dedicated to serving her community by helping patients achieve quality oral care when they visit Augusta Family Dental.
Born and raised in Georgia, Sam is what you would call a real Georgia peach. Her passion for dentistry began in 2008 when she graduated from Augusta Technical College as a dental assistant. She worked as an orthodontist assistant for a short while when she decided to go back to school for hygiene. She graduated from Savannah Technical College for hygiene in 2013 and shortly after that became a member here at Augusta Family Dental. She has been with us ever since. She loves what she does and the people she gets to work with everyday. She is very passionate about her patients and the welfare of their dental health.
Outside of work, Sam enjoys spending time with her two beautiful girls and husband. Although she has little time for hobbies, she does like to spend her spare time doing crafts. Her biggest accomplishment in life is her family, and she thanks God everyday for the many blessings he has given her.
During hygiene visits Sara encourages patients to ask as many questions as possible. This allows her to personalize treatment and enable patients to be involved in their treatment. She also stays current on new technologies, hygiene products, and attends continuing education classes regularly.
Tequila was born in El Paso, TX and traveled the world before her father retired in Augusta, GA in 1992. In November of 2000, she became a Dental Assistant. Augusta Family Dental is where she calls home and looks forward to further growth and knowledge of dental health. Tequila enjoys the family feel of working for a private practice. She loves helping patients build their confidence with their smile!
Tequila is married with two beautiful daughters. Outside of work, she enjoys eating, shopping, and traveling. She volunteers at her local church and looks forward to traveling the world with family and friends.
Jessica is originally from Alaska, but has spent the majority of her life in Augusta. She became a Dental Assistant in 2013, and has been with our practice since 2019. She strives to make each patient feel welcome and comfortable by educating patients and helping them understand the steps of each procedure.
When she is not at the office, Jessica enjoys spending time with her husband Scott and young son Preston. They are also excited to expand their family and meet their new daughter at the end of August.
Stephanie was born and raised in Augusta GA. She studied Dental Assisting and became a certified dental assistant with expanded duties in 2004. She joined our work family in 2016. Stephanie has truly come to think of her Augusta Family Dental team and their patients as an extended part of her family.
When shes not at work, Stephanie enjoys preparing wonderful meals and delicious sweet treats for her patients and 11-year old son, Mason. She also enjoys reading, learning new things, and finding peace in meditation and walks.
Born and raised in the Augusta area, Amy embodies all of the kindness and generosity typical of Southern hospitality. She has been a Patient Coordinator for six years doing insurance verification, treatment plans, and accounts receivable.
