Dr. Timmerman is from Augusta, GA and graduated from the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry in 1987. He has enjoyed practicing dentistry ever since! He credits his success to having a professional and caring staff. He has a wonderful wife, Andrea, 4 children, Hannah, Rachel, Clayton, and David, and a granddaughter named Madeline.
Dr. Timmerman loves to create beautiful smiles combined with establishing a balanced and functioning dentition. He firmly believes that each and every patient deserves his complete and devoted attention to their dental concerns.
To address patients needs, Dr. Timmerman has invested many hours to continuing education and enjoys placing dental implants, using lasers to treat gum disease, and creating beautiful smiles using computer CAD-CAM technology.
Dr. Timmerman is a member of the American Dental Association, the Georgia Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the Academy of Laser Dentistry, and the Academy of Implant Dentistry. His goal is to make each patient very relaxed and omfortable when receiving treatment because he wants to gain their trust. Dr. Timmerman appreciates each and every patient and considers it an honor to be their dentist.

Cracked tooth in half, had it repaired same week. The staff is always professional, kind, & understanding. Let me tell u Dr. Ben is the only dentist I have ever had that's compassionate, has patience, has never rushed with me or seem to busy. I'm a nervous wreck, unless it's just a cleaning. He builded the crown right in the office. No going back for permanent. It's done. Thank you so much for putting my mind at ease. And the cost didn't put me in the poor house.

Best dentist anywhere! Never had ANY pain...even during the dreaded root canal! This anecdote should say it all...when I moved for a job in South Florida, I timed my visits back home to coincide with my dental appointments with Dr. Timmerman. He also helped some friends of mine with their needs despite not having insurance. They were able to get top notch care with a plan in place to be able to afford it. I consider Dr. Timmerman a friend and that was BEFORE going out of his way to ensure those close to me got great care, despite challenging insurance situations. You don't meet many people with such a great heart. Support his practice not only for the expert care, but for how much he cares for EVERYONE as well.

I've been going to Dr. Timmerman for about 25 years, probably more. He is the kindest, gentlest, dentist ever! In all the years my whole family has been going to him, we have NEVER had a bad experience. I honestly cannot say enough good things about him. So many people are terrified of going to the dentist, not me!! He's THE BEST! So, if you're looking for a new dentist, he's your man!
