Dr. Drew Richardson is a South GA native turned CSRA convert. He completed his undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Georgia where he graduated Summa Cum Laude. Immediately after graduation he worked in a research lab developing micronutrients for citrus trees. After his time in Athens, Dr. Richardson attended the Dental College of Georgia at Augusta University where he earned a Doctor of Dental Medicine as a prestigious Hinman Scholar. Dr. Richardson graduated 2nd in his class and was initiated into the Phi Kappa Phi and Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honors Societies.
Dr. Richardsons treatments focus in the areas of cosmetic and general dentistry to include fillings, crowns and bridges, removable partials and dentures, teeth whitening and more. He is committed to fully educating his patients and partnering with them to achieve the highest level of oral health.
Dr. Richardson continues his professional training and education through his memberships in the American Dental Association, South Carolina Dental Association, and Georgia Dental Association. He enjoys giving back to his community; he has donated his services to local CSRA dental clinics including the Hope Dental Clinic and Christ Community Clinic. Dr. Richardson also had the privilege of serving on a Dental Mission Trip Team to Hinche, Haiti in the summer of 2016.
When not practicing dentistry, Dr. Richardson enjoys spending time with his wife, Molly. He is an avid college football fan and loves to cheer on his beloved Bulldawgs. He also enjoys outdoor activities including fishing, gardening, running, and disc golfing.

I graduated from the Dental Assisting program at Augusta Technical College in 2013 and have been with Dr. Rabun since. I act as the insurance and billing coordinator, but also assist the doctor chairside when necessary. I am a life-time resident of Burke County, where I live with my husband and dogs. In my free time, I can typically be found reading, watching movies, jeep riding or cheering on the Georgia Southern Eagles!

I went to my dental appointment, to have some adjustment done to the appliance, to help me stop grinding my teeth. I know it will be done, and I know the Dentist won't stop until it's done correctly.

First time seeing Dr. Richardson. His staff is very professional. Both Dr Richardson and his staff made me feel welcome and their friendly attitude relaxed me greatly. Dr. Richardson explained everything that needed and did not need to be done and answered all my questions. This is the first time a dentist has done that for me. I finally found a dentist I am sticking with.

Dr. Richardson is an amazing dentist. He is always so kind, extremely gentle and does great work. The staff is just as amazing. My daughter had fillings done and she was extremely anxious before procedure and afterwards she said that was easy. Always a positive experience!

I have had several not great dental experiences. So it had been about a year and a half since I had seen a dentist or had a cleaning. I briefly told them about some of my trauma with past dentists. The hygienist was very patient with me during my cleaning. Allowing me to close my mouth and swallow as needed, unlike some I've had that just keep your mouth open for the entire time, as someone with a sensory processing disorder this is very important. And Dr Richardson was very great at explaining things to me and explaining why things were in order of priority as they were. It's one of the best understandings I've had of my dental issues and the steps that I need to take moving forward.

The entire staff is responsive, courteous and knowledgeable. The patience and willingness to provide details on the procedure being provide was refreshing compared to my previous experiences. Secondly, I never felt pressured to proceed with a procedure without understanding the full financial impact or work required to complete the procedure.

Practice was previously owned by Dr. Rabun who recently retired and I saw him almost 15 years. So I was a little leery about the new dentist. Once I met Dr. Richardson although younger than expected he was friendly, courteous, comedic and came across quite knowledgeable so I was immediately put at ease. His staff is just as courteous and professional.

The staff was very efficient and friendly. The hygienist was filling in for a regular who was on maternity leave and she did an EXCELLENT job. Dr. Richardson was extremely nice and efficient as well. I was very satisfied!
