During his residency, Dr. Hackett received advanced training in dental implants, sedation, full mouth rehabilitation, and more. He has achieved Fellowship status with the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, and he is also a member of the Dawson Academy, a dental education continuum dedicated to comprehensive dental treatment. He has also completed multiple training courses on advanced dental implant procedures.
Dr. Hackett is committed to pursuing continued education in order to provide his patients with the most innovative and up to date treatments. He is an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association, and the Kentucky Dental Association. He is also a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and a member of the Dawson Academy.
Dr. Hackett is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys hunting, fishing, and hiking. He also enjoys golfing, and UK basketball. Dr. Hackett is also the co-host of the Life and Dentistry Podcast, a dental podcast dedicated to helping the next generation of dentists navigate their dental careers.

While traveling in the area, the tooth I broke a few months back decided that even breathing as going to hurt. I am typically terrified of the dentist so I put everything off until it's unmanageable anymore. I could no longer put this tooth pain off. I called and they were able to get me in for an appointment that afternoon. I am visibly anxious as soon as I walk into the waiting room. The dental assistant was literally the best I've ever seen. She kept making me laugh so much that I forgot where I was located. She took my x-rays and handed me off to the dentist to get the problem tooth pulled. They were willing to give me gas to calm me down and even allowed me to have my ear buds in to drown out the dentist noises during the procedure. If I lived in the area, I would make this my regular dentist based on this experience.

I received a denture implant about 6 years ago. I'm very happy with my smile now and how well the staff treat me as a client. I have had some ups and downs with 2 implant failures. I had one replaced successfully. I need a bone graft to fix the other... But Dr Tackett continues to help me work through my issues, in a professional, caring manner.

This is the third time I have visited the office. It's very aesthetically pleasing and clean. All of the staff members make me feel welcome and relaxed about my visit. I have experienced little to no waiting time and my hygienist is always very thorough when cleaning my teeth. They have email and text reminders so you don't have to worry about forgetting your appointments. I highly recommend Dr. Hackett and his staff!
