Dr. Elizabeth White is a Board Certified Periodontist and a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. She was raised in Troy, Alabama, and attended Troy University for undergraduate studies. Dr. White completed her Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2016 with Research Honors. She then graduated from the UAB Periodontics program as Chief Resident with a Certificate in Periodontics. She also received a Certificate in Periodontics from the Birmingham Veteran Affairs Medical Center for her additional training. Dr. White practiced in Nashville, Tennessee until August 2020 when she joined our Auburn Periodontics family.
Dr. White is a member of the American Academy of Periodontology, Academy of Osseointegration, Southern Academy of Periodontology, American Dental Association, Alabama Dental Association, and the 9th District Dental Society.
Dr. White is married to Zachary White, who is an Auburn native. They enjoy hiking and kayaking together. They have two dogs, Bentley and Ellie, and a cat named Gabby, and they are excited to call Auburn their home.

The staff and doctors are super friendly. I love to come here. Office is very pretty and clean.

Auburn Periodontics is absolutely wonderful. They have highly skilled young doctors that use the most current forms of treatment to help their patients. Dr. Guzman and Dr. Matin have provided life-changing relief for my bruxism/TMJ (TMD). I've suffered with chronic pain for at least 12 years. While every other dental professional I've seen has prescribed medication or told me to get my stress under control, they understood and gave me affordable options that genuinely helped me! I've been blown away by how wonderful everyone is. From Ashlea the office manager (who is able to squeeze me in when I need an emergency appointment!), to the amazing staff (they all have so much compassion!) to the awesome doctors.... this practice is my happy place. They've quite literally saved my life!! I highly recommend Auburn Periodontics!

Dr. Marin is a nice doctor. But the office account manager is not friendly at all. She treats the patient only with yes or no which made me feel very uncomfortable.

I had a free gum graft 2 weeks ago. I will admit after looking at videos I was so scared and worried I could not talk or work as be in a lot of pain. But I had no problems at all and very little pain. Dr White , Ginger and Ashley was amazing and I highly recommend if you need anything done at all, give them a call . They will take the best care of you. Five stars is not enough to show their comparison, self worth and concerns they have for you and your healing. .

Dr. Matin is the best and the most professional dentist that I have ever met, she put me at ease the very first time I visited her office last year, and she loves her job and truly cares about my teeth! I really appreciate her profession !

Dr's Matin and Guzman are great. Auburn Periodontics use the most up to date dental protocols, equipment and technology, and staff and techs are informed and professional as well. Both the Auburn and Columbus locations are great and have the latest technologies, and I've been to both locations. I'm embarassed to say that I visit their offices more frequently than I would like. To that I would recommend to anyone reading to floss more often! Nevertheless, the care and attention to detail has exceeded my every expectation. For perspective I have four implants - two of which Dr. Matin installed - and a couple of crowns for which Dr. Guzman is responsible. Some people panic about public speaking. I get that same type of anxiety and panic when it comes to dentistry of any kind. I just can't stand it. Auburn Periodontics gives me a level of calm at least an order of magnitude lower than any place I've visited. I couldn't give a higher recommendation.

This place is amazing. Words cannot describe!!! I came in with damage from a severe infection in an emotional state and fearing the worst. I had a debridling with Brandy and not only did she do a thorough and excellent job but she called the next day to check in with me. Service beyond expectation! I will be forever appreciative and definitely recommend them with no reservations! If they ever do a commercial I volunteer as spokesperson! BTW my smile is beautiful and healthy. Thank you Auburn Periodontics!

They are extremely sweet!!!! I was there for a referral and I just felt like I was at my regular dentist office. Very humble group of young ladies!!!!! Dr. Matin is very passionate about what she does. She is just awesome. Beautiful spirit!! 8 November 18 I had a gum draft and everything went so smooth. She also cut my frenectomy and my smile looks way better. Theres a huge difference. 2 weeks later it was healing very well. 28 December everything was healed properly. It looked great.

i am NOT happy with the treatment from this establishment for the following reasons..................... my better half had surgery there over a month ago...she was in pain to the point that she was unable to sleep or eat for over 2 weeks...she called this est. and all they would tell her is to take otc and or meds they gave her than made her sick. it seems that "doctors" these days are so afraid of the OPIOID BS that they will let the patient suffer since they are not in any pain themselves.....as soon as possible...she will be done with this outfit...since they made a few $$$$$ off of her with no real results....the desk staff are friendly but seem to be totally lost and unable to navigate through their computers...In addition,neither my wife nor I are drug users of any type and never have been,however........ having to endure pain during any healing process Is completely outrageous.
