Dr. Abigail Northcutt Adams is a caring, competent, and compassionate dentist that puts her patients, staff, and colleagues first. After completing her BS at Auburn University, she obtained her DMD from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
Dr. Adams continues to pursue excellence in all facets of her life. She is a published researcher, a board member of three different Dental Associations, and a passionate philanthropist engaging in endeavors such as long-term mission trips to Ecuador, Bolivia, and Venezuela. She has also received rewards of excellence such as the Alabama Board of Dental Scholars Scholarship.
She chose dentistry in order to help people in a tangible way and sees her work as a wonderful opportunity to make a difference in the lives of those around her. Her philosophy in patient care is to gather as much information as she can about her patients wants, needs, and dental care history in order to offer them an optimal treatment plan. She takes the time to listen to her patients questions and concerns so that their treatment can be customized to their specific and individual needs.
In her free time, Dr. Adams likes to spend as much time as she can with her loving husband, Tyler, and their daughters, Audrey and Bea. When she is not with family, she enjoys learning about other cultures, bonding with friends about sports (especially Auburn football), and serving in her local church.
Dr. Neuhart was born in The Woodlands, Texas and lived in Georgia from 2004 until he recently moved to Auburn to practice dentistry. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Georgia Institute of Technology and then attended The Dental College of Augusta University.
Dr. Neuhart has enjoyed volunteering with various ministries in Atlanta and Augusta to impact the local community and plans to continue volunteering in East Alabama. He has also taken part in a mission trip to India and a dental mission trip to Romania.
Gwendolyn is a hygienist at our LaFayette office. She has been a dental hygienist since 2005. Her mission is to help each patient understand the importance of proper oral hygiene. Gwendolyn has a calm demeanor that quickly earns the trust of those she meets.
Benita is a hygienist at our LaFayette office. She has been in dentistry since 1993 and has been a Dental Hygienist since 1998. Benita enjoys talking to her patients about ways to improve their dental care and oral hygiene. Benita does her absolute best to help patients improve their dental education and experience.
Angel is a hygienist at our Opelika office. She has 20 years of experience in dentistry. Her favorite part about her career is the interaction she has with each patient. Angel enjoys helping improve the lives of others through oral health care education. Angel was named Star Employee for 2019 for the Opelika office for her hard work and dedication to the patients and our team.
Kaylee is a dental assistant at our Opelika office. Kaylee has 4 years of dental assisting experience with the goal to further her career in dentistry. Kaylee enjoys the opportunity to work with patients and strives to provide a comfortable and pleasant experience. Kaylees favorite part of dentistry is renewing confidence through creating healthy smiles.
Vanessa is a certified dental assistant at our location office. She has been a dental assistant for over two years. Vanessas goal is to become a dental hygienist. Vanessa enjoys taking care of our patients and making them as comfortable as possible.
Lauren is the patient care coordinator at our Lafayette office. Lauren has 5 years of experience in the medical field. Lauren enjoys working in the medical field because of the interaction with each patient and being able to help in any way she can. In Laurens spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and her furry friend Addie.
Galina is our insurance coordinator for both the Opelika and Lafayette offices. She is new to the dental world, but loves being able to help behind the scenes with insurance needs. Galina enjoys sailing, hanging out with her cats, and spending time with her family and friends.
Brandy is our Practice Manager for both the Opelika and Lafayette offices. She is new in the field of dentistry. She has spent the last 18 years in nursing. Brandy has 11 years of management and leadership experience. Her passion has always been to help others . Her favorite thing about being in the healthcare field is the interaction with patients. In her spare time Brandy enjoys spending time with her husband and two children. She is an avid sports fan and especially loves Alabama football.

I usually love going to the dentist but this is the worst dentist I have gone to. I came in for some fillings and the dentist I had started to numb the wrong side then kept getting distracted with her other coworker talking about something about baseball. (Which is fine if you can do your job while multitask) so she figured out that she was doing the wrong side of my mouth and fixed it. Starting doing the fillings and she took so much of the tooth and instead of taking the tooth out she put the fillings around my gums which became swollen irritated I had to go to the ER to get the infection and swelling down. The lady who did my teeth said she wouldn't fix it and sent me to another dentist. Not wanting to take liability. I had to wait two weeks for the next appointment. Worst pain in my life. Won't be going here again.

So dentists terrify me, always had severe anxiety when it comes to seeing a dentist. Dr. Adams and the rest of the staff made it the absolute best experience I could have asked for. My teeth have not looked this great in literal years. Amazing.

After deciding to leave the practice, I've had nothing but issues. My husband and I both received bills for services well after they were rendered with the reasoning being "staff changes" and "office software changes" as why we didn't get billed at the time of service. Except the alleged amount owed was never disclosed to us despite continuing to receive treatment. They have since sent a bill for both my husband and myself (separate charges incurred) to collections solely in my name as if I incurred the total amount they're claiming. They also messed up a crown on one of my husband's teeth and told him that if he wants it fixed, he would have to pay the bill they're alleging we owe them. They've still been unable to provide proof of claim as to us owing these charges and are now trying to leverage his messed up crown to get him to pay it, despite them being the ones who messed it up to behind with, thus the service never fully being provided to him, yet they want full payment on it first. I wouldn't recommend this office to anyone, unless you intend to blindly pay whatever they tell you to.

Had fillings today and Dr.Adams was very thorough and guiding through the process, she was very patient and did her best to make the process and smooth and easy as possible, really do trust her with my dental work! The assistant she had today I didn't get a chance to ask her name but was very very sweet and comforting to me, if possible I would love to receive her for my next fillings. I highly recommend this dental office, very nice staff and very clean surrounding.

She was absolutely awful to my children! She put the numbing cream on and immediately stuck my son , he was screaming and the others just held him down. She immediately went into the next room to do the same to my 5 year old daughter and I asked could she let the numbing cream sit a little before she stuck her, she got upset and refused to service us! I would not recommend her to anyone especially not kids!

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!! who pulls 2 teeth , one WITH AN ABCESS & no antibiotics prior & sends them home with nothing . just tells them to take tylenol .

Not many, may say they look forward to going to the dentist office, but I must say my husband and I don't dread going, Dr. Adams and staff are superb! Ms. Angel explains the process, and she is very calming and proficient in her work. "The Chic-fil-A of Dentist offices"!!!

Dr. Adams has the most up to date equipment that helpspatients with a pain free visit. Had a tooth pulled and it was the most pain free experience I have had in my life. She is very gentle.

I've been to a few dentists, and this was the best dental experience I've had so far. The front staff was friendly and made the paperwork and payment processes very clear. I'm lame an didn't want any of the extra amenities, but the hygienist (Brandi) was friendly and very professional. She explained what she was doing and was careful to avoid causing pain, which must have been tough given the condition of my gums. Finally, Dr. Dellis was not an in-and-out dentist, she was thorough and carefully explained the treatment plan. If you have a fear of dentists, I highly recommend this group. My wife and I won't be going anywhere else as long as we're in Auburn.
