Dr. Thalida Dong was born in Vietnam and grew up in San Francisco. She is the youngest of three children in her family and the first to complete graduate school. She finished her undergraduate at UC Berkeley with a Bachelor in Biology then continued on to graduate school at Boston Goldmans School of Dental Medicine where she earned her Dental degree with a Magna Cum Laude.
In dental school, she discovered her passion and love for doing dental surgeries so she applied for residency and was accepted to University of Texas School of Dentistry-Houston. After completing her 3 years of residency specializing in Periodontics and Implant Dentistry, she has been working for several years as an associate doing what she enjoys the most which is doing dental surgeries and it lead to her decision to take on a new venture and establish her own practice. Dr. Dong is board certified in periodontology and dental implant surgery and she's also a member of several dental associations.
Dr. Dong is passionate with work but during her free time she also enjoys cooking, spending time with her family, and shares her love of nature with her husband by going on hikes, fishing and camping.

Dr Dong took very good care of me while having an implant procedure. She took her time and making sure the implant is a success with all the hindrances. Very happy to be Dr Dong's patient.

Dr. Dong is the best periodontist! She did the surgery on my teeth to clean the bacteria under the gum, I recovered very well in the healing process, and felt so happy! Come to see Dr. Dong!

I have been taken care of very well during all of my visits. Everyone is very polite and try to make my experience as good as possible. My surgery went very well and I have had no post operative problems. The doctor always explains things in detail and gives me comprehensive instructions. I highly recommend Dr. Dong and her staff.

So far...I have had the best experience with Dr Dong office staff as well as Dr Dong. She is patient and explains all details of procedures! My surgery experience with her has been excellent...she makes me feel very comfortable. I appreciate how she and her staff check on me after every visit. I wish all my family members could come to this office for dental care

Great dental care place to go take care of your teeth. The staff is professional, friendly, and provides excellent customer service. The doctor is honest, patient, and informative. She takes time to answer all your questions and spend all the time necessary to do a perfect job. There was never a time when there was a rush to complete the work.

Dr. Dong and her staff are outstanding! She did my implant and graph and was extremely professional and very thorough in explaining every step of the procedure for me. Her office handled my insurance and made sure everything was submitted properly. I would give her 6 stars if I could!

What a wonderful doctor and dental surgeon. I was very prudent in picking a dentist and surgeon and looked at all the reviews and advertisments and came up Dr. Dong, and by far she had the most glowing reviews and satisfied patients. Her pricing and number of satisfied patients far out distanced any of her competitors that spend large amounts of money on slick advertising and promise's that they can't keep. Don't get pulled in by the promise that you will go home with teeth on same day. You will need to understand this a long process, plan on at least six to nine months until you have your full denture implant. You want someone that provides the best care and treatment plan and works you towards the best possible outcome and treats you with dignity and respect, not someone that sees dollar signs from the moment you walk thru the door. I am sure once you visit Dr. Dong and speak with her about your treatment plan and understand the entire process you'll decide she's the best doctor to take care of your dental needs.

Best dental place ever. Dr. Dong cares a lot about her patients. She is very gentle and very patient. The staff are the best too! They are good with follow ups and they are all very respectful and nice! I always feel good going there.

Dr. Dong is kind and amazing. After seeing her, I refuse to go anywhere else. The staff are friendly and fast, and the facility is clean and super professional. I am extremely satisfied with the services provided and Dr. Dong goes above and beyond to make sure that I have the best experience possible. Auburn Lakes Periodontics set the standard of care really high and is so much better than anywhere else. Choose this place, you won't be disappointed!

I highly recommend Auburn Lakes Periodontics! Their staff is friendly and helpful, and really seem to care. They have many options/arrangements to pay for services. They are all very knowledgeable in their field. The office is clean, and sterile, yet warm and inviting.

The dental experience has been awesome. I have ask for remake of my teeth (adjustment to add a few more teeth) and including saving a few. This office and its team took my concern and delivered. I am in the process of restructuring my month due to personal neglect this team have worked and made sound suggestion that help me understand my part of taking care of my smile (teeth).
