It is no secret that most people would rather spend their time outside of a dentists office. Surprisingly, for me, it was inside a dentists office that my interest in this profession first started. In high school, I spent a significant amount of time being treated by my family dentist. These treatments ranged anywhere from routine cleanings and fillings to tooth implants and root canals. This type of an experience would drive most away from such a career, but it only furthered my desire to help others who faced similar circumstances.I pride myself on making patients feel comfortable and giving them the best care available. My favorite part of dentistry is seeing patients happy with their smile.
I grew up in Northern California until I moved to Georgia at the age of 13. After high school, I headed to Utah, where I received my Bachelors in Biology from Brigham Young University before heading to Western University of Health Sciences for my Doctorate of Medicine in Dentistry. I have been practicing dentistry ever since, and furthering my education. Ive also become a member of both the American Dental Association and the Georgia Dental Association in order to stay at the forefront of modern dentistry.
After graduating, I worked for several years as an associate dentist. It was a time in which I learned a lot about how to provide the best care to my patients. However, it didnt take long for me to realize a few things. First, I wanted to spend the extra time with my patients to make them as comfortable as possible, and ensure that all of their questions about their treatment were answered. Basically, I wanted to be able to provide them with the care that I felt they deserved. The next thing I realized was that to make this happen, I was going to need to open my own practice. Since starting Auburn Hills Family Dentistry, I have surrounded myself with the best team imaginable, and we have been providing compassionate dental care to the community for the past few years.
One honor that Im particularly proud of receiving since starting Auburn Hills Family Dentistry is the Ameritas VIP (Very Important Provider) Award for Outstanding Service. Receiving a patient-nominated decoration is especially rewarding. Knowing that my team and I have made an impact on the lives of those we care for is an incredible honor. I pride myself on making patients feel comfortable and giving them the best care available. Ive always loved the hands-on aspects of my profession, as well as the artistic side of it, so seeing patients happy with their smiles, with their own personal work of functional art, is my favorite part of dentistry.
When Im not in the office, youll probably find me outside, doing something physical. I love to hike, fish, mountainbike, play sports, and do CrossFit. Im also incredibly interested in marine biology, so I spend a lot of my free time studying up on the latest news in the field.

Changed my life, literally! I have been to many dentists over the years but Dr. Haycock was the only one who listened and worked on a plan to fix my teeth and smile. After over 30 years, I am no longer embarrassed of my smile! I am beyond pleased and the entire team is wonderful!

I had an amazing first initial appointment. Thank you to the staff members at the reception area. Everyone is very professional and neat! I highly recommend them. The doctor was very nice too and supported. Thank you again. You all are an excellent team~ What a great experience. So supportive! Loved my new dentist's place.

This place was amazing! I hadn't seen a dentist in over 2 years because I had braces, which led to severe plaque buildup on my teeth leading to a calculus bridge built up underneath my permanent retainer. The dental hygienist was so thorough yet so gentle in making sure my teeth were cleaned. And, she taught me how to properly floss with my permanent retainer so I won't be probed to the buildup again. This was truly the best dental experience I had ever!

I've found a great dental office that can service everyone in my household of 7. They are kind, helpful, organized, and helpful. My kids enjoyed the staff and were able to grt their cleaning done well. Glad we found this local gem.

Unfortunately, I've had my share of bad experiences with dentists and cosmetic dentists. So, I asked Dr. Haycock several questions...and I mean "several" questions. Dr. Haycock answered every question with kindness, sensitivity, and with a seasoned knowledge. He even ordered additional xrays in order to offer highest quality of care possible. He cares about his patients and before the visit was over I felt my shoulders relax as the trust continued to build between patient and doctor. Today was my first time at this office and let's just say I will be back. My dental hygienist was Nicol more like a dental hygienist fairy lol. She is amazing, she took her time, very knowledgeable, she definitely knows her stuff. I just didn't experience this at my last dentist office. The dentist came in and got straight to the point he wasn't looking to find a thousand different things he could charge for me for. Let's not forget about the front desk staff very professional and nice. If you're looking for a dentist office that is informative and actual cares about your dental health this is definitely the place to go. I will definitely be back.

BEST DENTIST EVER!!!! i was absolutely terrified of going to the dentist before & i never thought i'd be one of those people that actually looks forward to it, but Auburn Hill changed everything for me. Doctor Haycock & all of his employees, from the front desk to the hygienists, were so nice & professional; And they don't just care about their job, they care about their patients too!! I'll never go anywhere else & I'll be recommending this dentist to everyone I know!! 12/10 for me tsu

I am so happy to have come here. I saw another dentist who said I needed close to $6k in work done, which really surprised me since my teeth and gums are perfectly healthy. I came to see Dr. Haycock since I just didn't feel comfortable without a second opinion and thankfully, I just needed a small filling and that's was it. They have been great working with my insurance and I paid $16 after expecting to have to spend much more. The doctor was very thorough and kind and I will definitely keep coming back!

I had recently chipped my front tooth. They made time for me to get it fixed on the same day I walked in. Everyone was extremely kind, I recommend this dental office.

I have severe anxiety when it comes to going to the dentist, let me just say that this was the absolute best experience I have ever had from the moment I booked the appointment to the moment I left I felt comfortable and at ease. The office staff were friendly, patient, and extremely helpful and knowledgeable they explained my visit and my treatment plan with confidence and patience. The hygienist was absolutely wonderful she was funny and gentle and made sure I was comfortable the whole time, and explained what she was doing and why... x-rays were fast and efficient and overall easy. Dr. Haycock was fabulous! Super kind and friendly, again funny and put me at ease... he was able to pull my wisdom tooth that I had been in so much pain with. He was again fast and efficient and I had no pain during. He was simply great. I highly recommend this office for dental care... the whole staff really care about their patients and the needs. Everyone is knowledgeable and kind just good hearted place. As long as I go here I do not forsee that anxiety rearing it's ugly head. A big thank you to this team!!!

I recently changed jobs and insurance, so my previous dentist was no longer in network. In my search to find a new dentist, I scheduled an appointment with a local dentist franchise and walked out due to a lack of professionalism and poor communication. I began my search again and came across Auburn Hills Family Dentistry on my insurance company's website. I saw that they had good reviews and decided to schedule an appointment. I must say that I was very pleased and impressed with the level of professionalism, care, and compassion that all of the staff displayed during my visit. I am especially thankful for my hygienist, Nicole, who took exceptional care of me, made some great recommendations for my oral care, and is extremely passionate about her job and caring for her patients.

I was very impressed by the professionalism, compassion and efficiency of this office. I called due to a dental emergency when my old dental practice could not get me in for a few weeks! They were able to see me quickly and take care of my issue completely. The professionalism extended to everyone I dealt with. On the basis of that experience, I have switched to this practice and look forward to future excellent experiences.
