Dr. Yen-Chang Chen and the experienced hygienists and staff members of Auburn Family Dental are seasoned professionals, wholly dedicated to providing the highest quality dentistry for each patient. We provide our services in a friendly manner and want you to feel completely at ease during your visit with us.
Dr. Chen received his Masters Degree in Nutrition Education from the Georgia State University in 1997. He graduated from Temple University Dental School in 2003, and has been practicing dentistry in Auburn, Maine since his graduation. He recently purchased Auburn Plaza Family Dentistry.
Dr. Chen was a Clinical Instructor for York County Community Colleges Expanded Function Dental Assistance Program in Well, Maine from 2008-2010. He lives in Auburn and has a strong desire to serve the community in which he lives. In his spare time, he enjoys hiking, jogging, martial arts, and spending quality time with his wife, Lily, and their two children.
Vicki has over thirty years of experience working in the dental field. She sincerely enjoys her work and is particularly fond of meeting new people and sharing interesting conversation. She lives in Mechanic Falls with her husband, Tim. Together, they have three children. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, reading, running, and walking her dog, Carmello.
Meg has been working here since the summer of 2017. She loves being a dental assistant and loves learning new things everyday! In her free time, she enjoys comedic television, going to camp with family, andspending time with her husband, two children, and dog Kano.

BEST Dentist and Dental Team I've ever dealt with. They got me on ASAP. I broke a tooth a molar and fixed me right up. I am super impressed. Very efficient Staff. I have been self employed as a Barber, So I had to pay out of pocket. AND it was less then I planned on paying. I would have payed double to fix my issue. BUT I am now on the hunt for Dental insurance. Lol.

I was originally referred here by a co-worker when I moved to the area almost 6 years ago. I have since moved away (four years) and continue to come here for my dental needs. Dr. Chen is absolutely amazing. If something isn't just right, he will make it right for you. He has wonderful skill and expertise. If you have a lot of work being done, he will help you prioritize. The dental assistants are comforting and fun to talk to (when your mouth is free to chat). Vicki is my hygienist and she is beyond the best. Not only is she a great person, she makes you feel comfortable, remembers things about you, and does an amazing job at cleaning your teeth and recommending products and solutions to tailor what you need. Thank you guys for being an office who puts customer service first! If you live anywhere near Auburn, look no further for a dentist office. You have found the best.
