Avoid at all cost! Lynn- youre not a doctor, not a dentist... stop texting patients and stop stepping on the doctors toes because you feel as if you can.this office is absolutely horrible, aside from the dental hygienists. I will be following up with the DOH to prevent what happened to me, happening to someone else.

I've been coming to Atwill-Conroy for 15 years. Bonnie has been my hygenist for all of those years and I look forward to my cleanings twice a year. I can't say enough great things about the entire staff at the Smithfield office. I highly recommend going to Atwill-Conroy.

I was a patient at Atwill-Conroy Dental Associates William R. Conroy was my dentist, and did a good job. He was good at extracting teeth, fillings, root canals ... I needed some cosmetic work, and was told by patients that the associate I should see was Kristofer Haggarty. I had a tooth in the front that the filling kept coming out of. Kristofer Haggarty told me a cap was the way to go. Kristofer Haggarty put the cap on ( caps aren't cheap btw) The very next day the cap fell out. Repeat this process three times in a 2 days. I complained, got the impression I was bothering him. I complained, and gave him bad review. They did reach out to me. I was told sometimes caps fail, I need a bridge because the cap wasn't going to work. The estimate was somewhere around 5 thousand dollars. My insurance would pay -x amount ---- and I paid the balance ( not cheap) At this point I felt like a nuisance, and I got the feeling that I was. He put the bridge on. Then a week later the office called me to tell me that they didn't realize I had this insurance for only year, and my insurance wouldn't pay for any of the bridge. It's something that would need a pre-authorization, I thought it was their mistake. It's up to you to read through the insurance policy. They told me I could get a credit care card, which I did. I spent several thousand dollar for this one tooth all together. Between the cap not staying in, and the office not correctly determining the amount I had to pay, and the whole horrible experience. I decided to change dentists. The tooth under the bridge was sensitive to hot and cold. Within three months time my new dentist said she believed there to be a cavity under the bridge. The only way to know is to take off the bridge which I was still paying for off and replace it. This nightmare continues to this day as I now need implants to restore the bridge. He put the bridge on without checking my other teeth for cavities. Insurance will not cover any of it until its been 5 years that's the minimum time a bridge should last.

I've been seeing Dr Haggarty for years. I've had a lot of work done. I am a big chicken but Dr Haggarty, Missy, and Heather are great at easing my anxiety. So caring and understanding. I will not see any other dentist, he is the best. In fact yesterday I got my first implant. I was so nervous. Well today I feel like a fool for being chicken because the shots are a breeze, and honestly I did not feel a thing during the procedure and when I got home and the local wore off I had zero pain zero swelling. I mean None. And didn't take a thing or need ice. Like it never happened. Dr. Haggarty you are amazing, thank you!

Horrible staff, I got the same hygienist multiple times and each time she damaged my teeth, I also had one of the dentists (an old man who should probly be forced to retire) completely destroy a tooth with no problems, he literally hollowed my entire tooth out for no reason and I had to get it removed somewhere else because of the constant pain it caused, if I could press charges or had enough money to sue for malpractice I would. This place should be closed

I dread going to the dentist or having anything done with my teeth. This office has been the best set of experiences I've ever had with a dental office. The staff is cordial, caring, and they treat you like a person instead of just a number. I can not say enough good things about this practice or its staff. I highly recommend them to anyone who has been putting off dental work or just seeking a new dentist in general.

I contacted Dr Conroy for a second opinion on a suggested dental procedure. The staff and Dr. Conroy were professional and pleasant. I he confirmed the diagnosis but I will now be having the work done by Dr Conroy rather than return to my previous dentist even though it is a lot further away!

The dentists are great but the front office staff are extremely rude and unprofessional! I need a dentist office where everyone cares about the patients!

I'd give ZERO stars if I could. When I had my visit earlier in the year the Dr said all my teeth were fine, no cavities. However, in just a short while TWO of my teeth chipped due to unresolved cavities!! I had to get a root canal and crown, and teeth removed! I had six cavities! He said everything was fine. I was skeptical after I left my appointment and for good reason. Do not recommend AT ALL. Please go somewhere else.
