My first impression of Dr.Matthews was his intelligence, kindness, gentleness and how easily he can assess a major problem. He takes time with his patients!

Dr Mathews is a gem and yes: very attentive in all of the ways you would hope to find in a professional to trust your teeth to. In addition to all of the skill of his dentistry care options - and I've been through many of them as my teeth are complicated due to my weird bite -- he is a zero-BS person -- and he deeply cares about doing things the right way. He has taken much care to help me have solid teeth and healthy mouth but also let's be real: you have to look as good as you can these days and he's done wonders for me. His entire staff is equally professional, friendly and always there for you. Highly recommend!

My name is B, and I am a senior citizen. I called Dr. Karey to get an appointment for a tooth that had been really bothering me. I had not been to a dentist in over 10 years. Needless to say I was concern. Dr. Karey talked to me and did not make me feel stupid or inferior from not going to a dentist. He completely understood. As a mom you tend to put others needs ahead of your own and put yours on the back burner. He not only fixed my tooth and made me feel like family, but it was completely painless. Thank you Dr. Karey. I recommend you to everyone. Not to many Doctors take the time you care, and clearly you do because your patients can feel it from the moment they sit in your chair.

Dr. Karey and his staff are the best!! I really can not say how comfortable he made me feel and that says a lot because I am TERRIFIED of dentists. Break down crying terrified, but not here. Everyone is so welcoming and Dr. Karey is so caring and gentle. This man deserves an award.

I have always been apprehensive about dental work yet Dr. Karey and his staff make the visits easy. The office is incredibly clean and I appreciate that the chairs face the windows and so you are looking at an actual sky during procedures/treatments. Appointment times are always kept. Staff is very kind and accommodating.

The issues still remains unaddressed. Concerning my request for a discussion, please do not assume I have any interest in your professional practice. Your services are no longer needed! It has ceased on Jan 20 after canceling my follow-up appointment for Jan. 21. Our patient-doctor relationship is non-existent. Below are the following concerns that are communicated to you by your other staff (the nicer lady) but have remained unaddressed as you have refused to call and to discuss these with me. On December 9, the fillings are too high, and it is causing an uneven bite. January 13, after performing an occlusal adjustment the discomfort still persists. On Jan. 20, she isn't happy I am questioning the charge (more on this later), and speaking in an unpleasant tone, and commenting that I have been complaining of the discomfort. She hang up the phone on me twice! The comments, tone of the voice, and conduct are offensive, insulting, and disrespectful. Where is the compassionate care and empathy? I doubt a thorough investigation is being made when there are two sides to the story. You hear one side (your staff), you ignore mine? BTW, whether the charge is valid or not isn't even a concern. My dispute is the statement she made during my conversation with your staff before my visit on January 13 for an occlusal adjustment for the fillings. I ask if this visit will be charged, the response is "for adjustment if the same fillings the same tooth/same teeth there will be no charge". Well, they're the same fillings/teeth. It is never my intention to try to remove the charge! Disputing and questioning a charge are a patient's rights, and shall not be construed as "trying to remove payment. This is false and unacceptable! Interestingly enough, you have failed to address my concerns in your post, yet you spent time and effort talking about her upbringing, her World accomplishments, and values that I could care less. Values are best defined by actions and words! I am offended and insulted by her comments. Patients [and everyone else] need to be treated with utmost dignity. I stand by my honest review.

Front office staff is terrible. I decided to leave because they are THAT bad. They screwed up 2 appointments. Never contacted me at the correct number to confirm my appt. The number they said they "texted" but its a house phone. So they just gave my appt away even though I showed up and took off work. Second time they didn't even bother calling.. It was the day of snow and I called them to see if I still had an appointment. They didn't answer nor did they return my call, ever. I urge Dr Kerry to replace his entire Front desk staff before he loses even more clients.

Everyone from the front of the office to DDS Matthews is wonderful, kind and accommodating. What makes getting treated at Attentive Dental Care different than many of my other experiences I've had with dentists (I have moved around a lot) First, DDS Matthews keeps me well informed in what treatment plan we will go with and why. Taking the time to explain options, steps and timelines. He also treats conservatively with careful purpose. Meaning, there have been times when we could have gone the bigger dental work way, increased fees, etc-But he wants to do what is best to treat, save your teeth, gums, jaw etc. How wonderful not to feel like someone is treating you to get more money, but treating you to give you the best results. DDS Matthews wants to give you great results without always having to be the most expensive option! Amazing! And he has been right every time. No issues. I also appreciate the kindness of the whole staff, who are friendly, nice and seem truly interested in their patients. I have been going to DDS Matthews for 4+ years now and I still feel just as good about my decision to be a patient there as I have day 1.

This practice is always so kind and professional! They make the kids feel at ease - no one even complains they have to go to the dentist! We've had a few dental issues and they have handled everything quickly and easily. Definitely recommend this group!

Dr. Karey is such a gentleman with a wonderful bedside manner. I love the green and white colors of his office. The staff were great and the view of the horizon of green trees and blue sky are so relaxing. The tall hygienist, Daniel, was very professional and gentle-handed with my teeth cleaning and xrays. He was very nice and kind with me. I never felt anxiety free in going to the dentist, until I came here. The atmosphere is very soothing for me. I feel very comfortable here.

First visit the receptionist kept my DL and insurance card. I called upset about that and the complete lack of effort to get insurance approval for my dental work. Did not submit the X-Rays i had taken. When i expressed my concern woman called me rude and told me to get another dentist! Leaving me in pain and desperate need of care! THE WORST!

Dr. Matthews and his staff cured a lifelong fear of dental work in one visit. From cleaning to exam it was the most pleasant exam imaginable. Careful, friendly and attentive. If I could give 6 stars I would, can't recommend enough!

I went to see Dr. Matthews and the rest of his staff after avoiding the dentist for several years. From the front desk to the hygienist, German, I initially saw, they made me feel comfortable and gave me the attention I needed to get my oral care back on track. Beyond their positive and accomodating attitude, most importantly, they did fantastic work. Between the tooth I needed pulled, and the deep cleaning I received, I am not afraid of looking at my teeth and gums for the first time in years. I am also extremely happy with the work Dr. Matthews did with my tooth extraction. It was quick and, most importantly, painless. I didn't even need to take ibuprofen within 12 hours of the appointment, he did such a good job. When I had a question about my recovery, I received a call back promptly. I can't recommed them highly enough.
