Dr. Foroughi is a comprehensive dentist who has a passion for keeping his patients and their smiles happy and healthy. Some ask why did you become a dentist? The answer is simple. I loved the sciences, I enjoy working with people, and I like fixing things. Dentistry is a healing art. You get to do what you love and at the same time you get to provide a service to your patients. His professional mission statement is simply to serve our patients with compassion, excellence and value. Dr. Foroughi emphasizes on listening to the Patients needs, focusing on prevention, providing high quality dentistry in a comfortable and caring atmosphere, and establishing a mutual trust and respect. Dr. Foroughi, also prides himself on first being a friend and your personal advocate, not just your dentist. Originally from Southern California, Dr. Foroughi Graduated from University of Southern California Magna Cum Laude in Biological Sciences in 1995. He received his professional degree in Doctoral Dental Surgery at the University of California San Francisco in 2000. He went on to improve his skills and knowledge in implants, periodontal surgeries, cosmetic dentistry and complex dental procedures in a residency program in Audie Murphy memorial Veterans Hospital in San Antonio, Texas. Dr. Foroughi continues his learning with numerous Continuing education classes. He makes a commitment to stay current with Continuing Education and to be knowledgeable about all the options available to you. I have lived in Arizona since 2002. I completed my studies at Pima Medical Institute in 2011. I have been working at Atrium Dental since 2011. I really enjoy working with the staff they have become like my family.
I am originally from Houston, Texas and moved to Arizona in 2017. I am a Texas Tech graduate with a bachelors in nutrition as well as receiving a bachelors degree in dental hygiene from The University of Texas. I love getting to know the patients and helping them feel confident with a healthy smile.
I grew up in San Diego and moved to Arizona in 2000 to go college. I graduated from Rio Salado with an associate in Applied Science Degree for Dental Hygiene. I will be graduating from Northern Arizona University in May 2020 with my Bachelors Degree in Dental Hygiene. The most important part of my job is educating patients on how to maintain a happy healthy smile.
I am originally from Oklahoma and moved to Phoenix in 1987. I graduated from Pima Medical Institute in 2013. I came to Atrium as an extern and I was blessed to be hired as a dental assistant in 2013. I love working with Dr. Foroughi and Dr B. and seeing the care and compassion for their patients.

I have been going to Atrium for a couple of years now for routine cleanings and have nothing but great things to say about this office. Recently, I had the back of a crown come off on a front tooth. It was less than 2 weeks before my daughter's wedding, so I was obviously panicked. Dr. Foroughi not only got me in immediately, he went out of his way to make sure my new crown was ready and put in before the big day. I am so grateful to Dr. Foroughi and his entire staff and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a dentist.

Atrium was recommended to me by Woolaver Orthodontics (right next door) and I could not be happier! I love the staff and the doctors. Everyone is so friendly and they always remember our last conversations even when its been months between cleanings! It's always so calm and peaceful here. Wonderful experience if you're timid about dental work. They care here.

I went in for my teeth cleaning, and Janel did my procedure. I always book my appointments with her because she is truly the best! Dr. Foroughi is super and I would highly recommend his office.

I highly recommend Atrium Dental. The dental hygenist is very gentle and professional. The doctors are very informative and explain everything, only recommending procedures that are necessary and providing different options for treatment.

The office is really professional and efficient! They took me back right away didn't even have time to seat down, i loved it. Dr.Foroughi was really professional and explained with details everything about my treatment, Brianna and Crystal were super nice. At check out Ruby was really helpful and scheduled my next appointment right away.

To start this year my company changed my choices in dental plans. I called Atrium to ensure my new plan was one they accepted. It was. Now 60 days later I'm told that as of Feb 1 they no longer accept the plan I chose. So now I'm locked into a dental plan that Atrium doesn't accept. Now I have to find a new dentist. If I had not checked before switching plans that would be shame on me. But since I did, shame on them.

I would frankly be embarrassed if I provided service to customers the way I was treated here. No one was at any point rude to me, but it was obvious the main intent was to sell you on additional cosmetic dentistry. No one asked me a thing about myself, my needs, or any background, I was simply ushered in and given an immediate rundown on how veneers or orthodontics could help me in the future before any form of exam was even done. I had scheduled for a chipped tooth and a cleaning because I just moved to the area and need a dentist. They had 20 minutes to try to sell me on veneers and orthodontics for future prevention, but did not schedule enough time for me to get a cleaning or a routine exam done. Everyone was very friendly in the office which is all I can say positive, otherwise I was very let down by the patient care I received. I had to stop the sales pitch by asking what they could do for my tooth day of before anyone attended to my needs rather than trying to upsell me. Very disappointing experience.
