I chose the profession because I wanted to make a positive difference in peoples lives, while also building relationships with those in my care. I have practiced dentistry since 1974 and truly value every person I have had the pleasure to meet throughout my career. Many are unforgettable and have, in time, become friends.

Since finishing dental school, Dr. Dinsmore has actively sought out avenues to further his knowledge and broaden his skills. This allows him to provide up-to-date care, using advanced techniques, for his patients.

Through these professional organizations, Dr. Dinsmore has access to the latest information on new methodologies, materials, and technologies. He attends meetings, lectures, and seminars, participates in study clubs, and reads the latest publications and journals.

For Dr. Dinsmore, ensuring his patients are satisfied with their smile and happy with the outcome of their treatment, is his greatest reward. Continuing education ensures he is up to date on new technology and procedures, and provides the best care and results for his patients.

Time with family, though, is his top priority. Dr. Dinsmore has two sons, Kevin and Justin. Kevin, the oldest, is a contractor and owns his own business. Justin, the younger son, graduated from UT Health Science College of Dentistry and owns Atomic City Family Dentistry.

I appreciate the diversity of my days and how no two patients are the same. Every conversation and each procedure is new, exciting, and has me thinking of the best way to meet the individuals needs. Becoming a dentist was a natural path for me: I wanted to get to know people and be part of their healthcare team, so each can enjoy a healthier and happier life!

After growing up in Knoxville, Dr. Dinsmore now resides in Oak Ridge with his Miniature Schnauzer, Arthur. He enjoys living a healthy and active lifestyle and loves the outdoors: kayaking, hiking, boating, and spending time in the mountains.

I started my career in 2004, with an associates degree in dental assisting, and later transitioned to the front office. I am all about customer service and look forward to helping make sure your dental needs are met.

Family keeps me on the go outside of work. My husband and I have a combined family of five kids, so our house is never boring! Our family loves to spend as much time outdoors as we can; we love fishing, camping, hiking, and kayaking. We also enjoy playing games with kids and have even made up a few of our own.

I set up the operatories for treatment, take impressions and pour up models, take X-rays, and handle sterilization. I also provide chairside assistance: helping the doctors with various procedures while keeping you comfortable. When were finished, Ill provide home-care guidance, answer any questions you have, and make sure youre happy with everything.

Outside the office, I spend much of my time with my best friend, who happens to be my spouse. I love time with my stepdaughter, too. Hiking, kayaking, and traveling are some of my favorite ways to enjoy the outdoors.

I was born and raised in East Tennessee. My junior high school sweetheart and best friend has been my husband for 20 years. He served in the United States Air Force as military police in security forces for eight years. We love spending time with each other and always do everything together! We have two Miniature Schnauzers, Langley and Sprocket, we enjoy hiking, playing ball, and traveling with. We also love spending time with family and enjoy being outdoors. Shopping with my mom and two sisters is my all-time favorite hobby!

We have a fur baby, Keeya, who is a long-hair Chihuahua. She is the love of our life and goes everywhere with us.
