We train with other dentists across different specialities to consider different dental cases and use an inter-disciplinary approach to finding the best solutions for your health. Drs. Forrester and Ocampo are leaders in this type of continued dental education. Dr. Silver teaches at the University of Pennsylvanias School of Dental Medicine, where he has worked to implemented this new cross-professional, collaborative approach to teaching dentistry.
He earned his bachelors degree in chemistry from Duke University in 1981. He earned his Doctorate in Dental Medicine in 1985 from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, a specialty certificate in General Dentistry in 1986 from UPSDM and a certificate in periodontics from UPSDM in 1988.
Dr. Silver first opened his practice in Burlington County New Jersey in 1990. His current state-of-the-art facility, Greentree Periodontics, is located in Marlton, NJ. He recently expanded his practice to Northfield, NJ by purchasing Atlantic Periodontics with Dr. Forrester.
Dr. Forrester was born and raised in Marlton, NJ and grew up playing many sports with focus on wrestling, soccer, and baseball. He attended college at Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, VA where he founded a chapter of Kappa Delta Rho, a national fraternity, and was a tutor for NCAA athletes. He was invited to the International Scholar Laureate Program, the Gamma Beta Phi Honor and Service Society, and the National Society of Collegiate Scholars and graduated with a double major in Biology and Psychology.
He attended NJ Dental School at UMDNJ. Here he developed his love for implant dentistry and periodontics. Following dental school, he attended Periodontal Residency at Temple Universitys Kornberg School of Dentistry in Philadelphia where he received implant training directly from Carl Misch and attended his institute in Orlando, FL.He continued his education and became Board Certified by the American Board of Periodontology. He continues to seek the most modern and minimally invasive treatment modalities available for both his periodontal and implant patients and became LANAP certified to use a laser to treat gum disease. Today, Dr. Forrester is a partner and practices at both Atlantic Periodontics and Greentree Periodontics.
Dr. Ocampo is from Mexico, however raised in California where she received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Kinesiology from Occidental College. She then received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree and Certification in Periodontology at the University of Pennsylvania.
Dr. Ocampo has a NJ Specialty License in Periodontics and is board certified. She is also a member of the ADA, DVAO (Delaware Academy of Osseointegration) and will be starting a Spear Study Club, Atlantic Periodontics Study Club, along with Dr. Louis Forrester in our Northfield office in March 2022.

Visit was for a consultation for a dental implant. The front office was very nice, only had to wait a couple of minutes. Dr. Forrester was very friendly, direct, explained my options clearly, and answered all of my questions. Its never fun going to the dentist but it helps when the staff has a good attitude and you are treated well.

Excellent experience. Everyone was great from scheduling initial visit and accommodating me while I am home with an injury to performing care and involving me in a decision for the best possible outcome. I was very anxious about ever having an implant but after today's experience hi I'm very comfortable that this is going to be an excellent experience all the way through thank you everyone for being so kind and supportive it really matters I have now returned for my surgery and it was amazing. Everyone was so sweet and so kind they made me really feel at ease and I was believe me very nervous it was an excellent experience totally calm no pain even the numbing everyone was super supportive kind and Pleasant /friendly. GREAT experiences I am RN and absolutely recommend

Everyone was friendly and professional. Libby was excellent, very thorough, detail oriented and offered suggestions to enhance my teeth cleaning at home. She was very skilled and proficient in her duties which made me feel calm and relaxed while she cleaned my teeth. Dr Forrester was nice as well.

I can't say enough nice things about the staff and doctors at this practice. They are at the top of their game/ yet remain quite humble and friendly. Personality is very important to me and they sure seem to have that down. Also, much knowledge in their field. I wish I found them 20 yrs ago when I moved down here. So glad to have been recommended to them now. Libby cleaned my teeth and was amazing / friendly and very good at what she did. The other lady that cleans gums was kind enough to recommend your practice to me. She cleaned my teeth at Dr. Calvi office and did a very good job also. Friendly and smart also. Dr. Brisa Ocampo is my doctor. She is quite knowledgeable is her field. Very impressed with the the check she gave. Very thorough in the check up she gave me. The pictures on top of the x-rays I never had done before. Thank you for helping people in crisis have hope of saving their teeth so they could keep on smiling. Your job is very important to us. Doc Silver was a pro throughout my entire implant process. I was very fortunate I had a lot of bone loss but the grafting process went very well. He always answered every question and he laid out the entire process. Wait times were few he was always punctual. What a pleasure to be able to stay at the shore and not have to travel far to get this done. He did a great job and his staff was excellent during this covid period.

The staff of Atlantic Periodontics are very professional. Knowing most people are extremely nervous when it comes to oral surgery the staff make you feel very comfortable and put you at easy. I have extreme confidence in my Doctor, Dr. Forrester. I've underwent several serious procedures in the past year without any pain or discomfort during the procedure or postoperative. I would highly recommend Atlantic Periodontic, which I do to my friends and family. Ignore your dental problems they will go away along with your teeth.
