Dr. Gordon is an active member of the Academy of Osseointegration, Alpha Omega Fraternity, American Academy of Periodontology, American Dental Association, American Dental Education Association, Atlantic Coast District Dental Association, Delta Sigma Delta Fraternity, and Florida Dental Association. She also enjoys staying up to date with the latest developments and techniques in the art and science of dentistry by attending continuing education courses and staying conversant with current research and findings published in leading dental journals and research articles.

Being a new patient to Atlantic Family Dentistry I found the entire staff & Stephanie, to be excellent. The dentist, Dr Steven Mitchell, is one of the better dentist I've seen for treatment. I plan to continue going to this practice for all my dental needs.

What a great experience! I haven't been to the dentist in over 10 years because I hated it so much. The staff was amazing here! You get a tour, a present (way better than the sticker I used to get...), a comfort menu...they take the time to learn about you and explain everything start to finish. There are no insurance questions...they handle everything! It's kinda weird to say, but I'm looking forward to going back for my crown!

I was very happy with my visit and the treatment I received. The staff were friendly and helpful. The treatment by the dentist was as good as any I've had. Very happy and would go back in a second. Never imagined saying such things about a dentist.

The whole experience was exceptional! I was a new patient with a broken crown and I was able to get a same day appointment. I was educated every step of the way. The staff was very friendly and Dr. Mitchell was awesome! I can't thank them enough for caring for me and helping to relieve my anxiety.

I love this place and Dr Mitchell is fabulous. Megan has been wonderful as well. They have worked on just about every tooth I have I can't say enough good about them!!

Scheduled an appointment for an initial exam and cleaning. Was given "options" for cleaning which was for a deep cleaning that they said was optional. I explained I was there for a regular cleaning and was told they wouldn't do a regular cleaning. I wasted over an hour for them to do nothing.

Terrific staff! I have been avoiding dentists now for far too long, due to disappointments with too many other prior dental experiences. I can honestly say, this was an excellent experience. I was given a comprehensive exam, which gave me a real view of my problem areas. Loved the hygienist, too; Cathy, who did a scaling of my teeth(which I always experienced a lot of pain with). However, not so today, in which case I was very grateful! The dentist, came in to evaluate all scans, and found a cavity around a crowned tooth which had never even come up before. Very happy thus far, and I am actually looking forward to my next visit(if one can believe that)!!!

Today was last time I'll ever step foot in there. Have been there on 4 occasions. Each time the staff is miserable bordering on rude They have yet to be ready for appointments they give. Today I showed at 1pm exactly on time. Didn't bring me in from lobby till 1:11, sat with no one coming in as of 1;30 which should have been half way through the cleaning. I had to walk out. The two doctors are pleasant enough, however they have lost my business. I can't go back as a miserable patient . Been going to dentist for 60 years never have felt compelled to actually say they made an uncomfortable doctor visit the worst dental experience 4 out of 4 times.
