I received outstanding service here during my two visits. I got a chance to meet both dentists. Even though they have a pretty big, busy practice...they both made me feel like they had all the time in the world to spend with me. Plus, the young woman at the desk was very kind, scheduling or rescheduling appointments if I had a conflict. Even before or after working hours. Thank you!

My filling appointment was cancelled because I got new insurance and they needed time to verify my benefits. Totally fine with this, as I was to receive a call back to reschedule. After a week, I called in to follow up and they said they never received my insurance card. I gave all of the info over the phone again and this time also texted a copy of my card to them. Another week and a half and they did not call back. I called in again last week and the operator asked me to text them my card again because they never received it. I did this again and have yet to hear back. The least they could do was call me stating they needed more info but I have not heard a word from anyone. I doubt I'll even get my 20% that I paid upfront to hold my appt back. This is extremely unprofessional. I should not have to be calling in for a month to follow up on rescheduling my appointment. There are better dentists out there.

Great experience! Doctor K. did a root canal for me. I was completely terrified but he put me at ease and did a wonderful job. In the beginning they put Netflix on the tv while the novacane was setting in and I just relaxed. Esther, my dental hygienist made me comfortable during all aspects of the procedure. She was also very sweet. Dr. K not only did the procedure super quick and efficiently but explained everything in detail to me as well. He is a very skilled and knowledgeable Dentist. Highly recommend!

This dentist office is horrible. Both my husband and grown son have had terrible experiences. They told my husband he needed teeth pulled and major work 7000.00 worth. He has never had any problems and goes to dentist every six months. He got a second opinion and nothing was wrong with his teeth. They were going to pull and crown healthy teeth. They hurt my grown son so bad he refuses to go back.He has never complained about dental work ever. Then when you try to get your records they put you through it.

All the dental hygienist were busy so had to reschedule my cleaning although I had an appointment. The DMD also wanted to check on something about a med I was taking left the room and never came back. Strange experience.

THIS IS AN UPDATE AFTER I PAID THEM A LOT OF MONEY AND THEN COULD NOT GET ANOTHER APPOINTMENT! THIS IS A REPLY TO THEIR TEXT AFTER ATTEMPTING TO GET A FOLLOW UP APPOINTMENT FOR PERIODONTAL CARE THAT IS REQUIRED QUARTERLY VISITS. I'VE TRIED TO SCHEDULE A APPOINTMENT FOR 6 MONTHS AFTER MY BIG DOLLAR APPOINTMENT ! "I am in the process of changing dentistries. Your complete disregard for current patient care is a direct reflection of your devotion to patients. My review of your dentistry will be honest. I would be embarrassed with the fact your practice neglects its patient's. Of course, if I am bringing high dollar procedures.Immediate appointment!!!! I will not participate in your recalcitrant and crass practice any longer. It's time to find a professional dentist that cares. Atlantic Dentistry is not it" BTW I received notice from my FSA there are irregularities with your billing. $15 here $15 there. I am investigating your billing and will make a formal complaint with the BBB. I hope you clean up your act better than you clean teeth . Solidifying my point. The most recent reviews of Dr. Murphy's practice illustrate the goal of this "dental farm". Money. Not health care. Money. Dr. Murphy you are failing as captain of your ship.

I had high expectations for Atlantic Dentistry due to the great reviews I read. Unfortunately, I had a terrible experience so I want to post my recent experience to make others aware. First, the good: the staff is friendly and if you're going for a basic teeth cleaning, you most likely won't have any issues. Cierra was very thorough with her cleanings. In March, I had some sensitivity with one of my fillings and they recommended a crown. I had no reason to question this and went ahead and scheduled the procedure. They had to reschedule my appointment twice due to personal issues with the dentist, which I was completely understanding about. But the whole experience with the crown was timely, with issue after issue coming up. In April, the temporary crown was put on incorrectly so I had to go back and get it fixed. Twice. Also, they did not clean up the area well and left some hard plastic resin that cut up my mouth. A large piece of it fell from my tooth and when I asked the dentist about it, I was told that should not have happened. Then the permanent crown was not made properly. It sat way too high and after shaving it down, they realized they had to make a new one. They blamed the lab, but it had to be redone, which meant more waiting and dealing with discomfort and pain. I had to wait weeks to come back and get the crown on. Finally in May, the crown is on and I thought I would finally get relief, but no, I'm still experiencing pain and sensitivity. I come back in and they try to adjust it, and send me on my way to see if it fixes the issue. It doesn't change a thing. Then they recommend a root canal. Honestly, at this point, I definitely felt like I needed a second opinion. Each appointment it seemed like something went wrong and coming from someone who actually doesn't mind going to the dentist, they've given me reason to be skeptical and dread it. I went to see an endodontist and they immediately told me what was wrong and fixed the issue. He told me that a crown would not have fixed my original problem. He also mentioned a couple other things they noticed regarding my prior treatment, which solidified my thoughts. You want to go to a practice that you trust and unfortunately I did not have an experience in which I would trust them to work on my teeth in the future.
