Atlantic Dental Healthcare gives each patient a customized approach to care and we strive to give each patient our personalized attention and importance. YOU as our patient is our focus. We will give you all treatment options so YOU can make an informed decision.
For patients with insurance coverage, estimated patient portions are due at the time of the visit. We gladly accept assignment of benefits (for most insurance carriers) and we will assist you by filing claim forms on your behalf. We will work with you to ensure that you receive the maximum insurance benefits to which you are entitled. Many people do not realize that most dental policies cover routine exams, x-rays, and cleanings at 100%, twice a year, for all individuals covered. Financial arrangements will be coordinated with your dental insurance benefits whenever possible to reduce your out-of-pocket expense for the quality dental care you will receive. Please bring your current DENTAL insurance information when you visit our office.
Dental insurance is intended to cover some, but NOT all of the cost of your dental care. Most plans include coinsurance provisions, a deductible, and certain other expenses that must be paid by the patient at the time of rendered services. Reimbursement amounts are not, and never have been, a guideline for quality care. We are here to try to help you understand your policy. Ultimately, it is the patients responsibility to read policies and be aware of services covered or not covered by the individual plan. Please remember that patients, not their insurance companies are financially responsible for services rendered. Please be informed that the contract with your Dental insurance carrier is a contract between you and the company. We are a Dental provider providing dental services to you and our relationship is with you as a dental Health provider and NOT with your insurance carrier. Our treatment to you as a patient is customized to your dental needs and is NOT based on insurance coverage. WE will discuss ALL options of Dental treatment customized to you and We both are a team in making the decision.

Dr. Selvan and Caroline are wonderful, caring, and accommodating. I needed some emergency services and the doctor agreed to come in on his day off. Very friendly office, well-maintained, and uses all cautions. I've been visiting this office since 1970 when Dr. Cohen ran the practice, and am happy to continue with Dr. Selvan.

We just moved to Old Bridge from north Jersey and we found Dr Sylvan based off google reviews. He made an appointment for us the day after a holiday because of tooth pain. He truly cares about his patients and is very compassionate and caring. He's also very wise and gives you the facts straight. I'm glad we found him and now our whole family can get great dental care from his practice. Highly recommend.

The best dentist ever! I have been a patient for over two years because I love everything about Atlantic Dental. The office is never crowded (which is great especially now with covid19), there is practically no wait time, and the service is awesome. Dr. Selvan answers all my questions and makes sure I leave with my teeth super clean. Highly recommend.

Just came back from Dr. Selvan's and let me tell you, this man is passionate about his job and your dental health. I literally, and I do not exaggerate, have not gone to the dentist in 10 years. But Dr. Selvan was able to take care of the plaque build up, and explain in detail my teeth sensitivity. He makes sure that the patient KNOWS. He educates, and education goes a long way. I have now discovered the correct way of brushing and flossing and am looking forward to the next appointment. TLDR; great dentist, you learn a lot, kind man, 11/10 would recommend to everyone.

Dr. Selva is a wonderful dentist. He is so kind and is very communicative. He spoke a lot about prevention rather than waiting for conditions to worsen, which I appreciate so much! Many doctors do not work that way. Glad I have found such a reliable and genuine doctor!

Dr. Selvan & Caroline are two terrific people - they are very professional & courteous and they make you feel at home (even though you're in a dentist office) Dr. Selvan is a great dentist - this is coming from someone who has a great fear of dentist - Dr. Selvan makes me feel very comfortable & not nervous at all. If all dentists were like him everyone would go to them & not have a fear of dentist. I HIGHLY recommend him for everybody especially those with dentist fears.

I must say I had a amazing experience, I moved to jersey from Brooklyn ny, and I'm so glad I got lucky to meet such a wonderful team from the moment I made that phone call to the moment I walk in for my appointment it was nothing but professionalism, very sweet kind caring from Carolina at the front desk to actually meeting dr. Selvan two beautiful people made me feel so welcomed and everything was easy going quick smooth process I was extremely happy when I left. Highly recommended Atlantic dental health care .

It was my first time at this dental office and I will certainly be back. I walked in and was greeted by the secretary and dentist. Filled out the paperwork and I was seen right way. Doctor Selvan was phenomenal. Great conversationalist checked in on me and certainly was seasoned and experienced. It was great to hear the news of no cavities.

Dr. Selvan is very informative and helpful. Unlike most dentists he took pictures & videos of my teeth and was able to explain anything that was wrong with them while showing me the picture for a better understanding. He is very knowledgeable in his field and I am very pleased with the care I received.

Absolutely LOVE this office! Caroline has such a wonderful spirit over the phone and even better in person! Dr. Selvan is amazing as well! I had a crazy experience with my previous dentist but coming to their office my nerves were instantly put to ease! They are friendly, courteous, and have great sense of humor! You should definitely choose them for your dentist!

I kinda hate to give them a good review so I won't have to compete with people but they were amazing, best dental experience i have ever had. He listened and helped me understand what my problem really was and schedule follow up to solve the issue. Absolutely a great dentist. And Caroline, the receptionist was absolutely great to talk to and schedule. Definitely recommend them.
