Dr. Frazelle is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with degrees in Zoology and Dentistry. After graduating in 1987, Dr. Frazelle joined Dr. Bernie Morgan, former and now retired senior member of Atlantic Dental Group, in the practice of dentistry. He is currently a member of the American Dental Association and Wilmington Tri-County Dental Society, of which he was President in 1993.
Dr. Frazelle resides in Wrightsville Beach with his wife, Anna. They have two daughters, Hannah and Kirsten, as well as a son in law Christian. He currently attends Port City Community Church and participates in local and international dental outreach. Dr. Frazelles hobbies include surfing and driving cars on the race track.

Dr. Carter Lee joined Atlantic Dental Group in 1996. He graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill as an undergraduate with a degree in Industrial Relations & Economics. He lived in Richmond, VA for two years working for Maddux Supply in the Industrial Electrical Industry.
After discussions with his father, who graduated in the first class from UNC-Chapel Hill School of Dentistry in 1954, Dr. Lee knew what his true calling was. He graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill in 1996 and moved to Wilmington, NC to join Atlantic Dental Group. He is a member of many study clubs with an emphasis on cosmetic dentistry, oral surgery, implants and Invisalign (invisible aligners).
Dentistry has been good to me and I dont take the confidence that my patients have placed in me lightly. My entire team and I work very hard to provide the absolute best experience possible for each and every patient.
Dr. Lee is a member of the First Baptist Church in Wilmington, where he was married to his wife, Louisa in 2000. They have a beautiful daughter, Alex and a son, Wells. Dr. Lee loves boating, hunting, fishing, and is an avid Tar Heels fan (GO HEELS!). He prides himself on getting to know his patients and forming relationships for a lifetime.
Dr. Josh Winneberger was born and raised here in Wilmington and has been a patient at Atlantic Dental Group since 2006. After he graduated from Hoggard High School (Go Vikings!), he received a B.S. in Biology from Wake Forest University in 2012 (Go DEACS!) and his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from East Carolina University School of Dental Medicine in 2016 (Go PIRATES, ARGH!).
Dr. Winneberger went on to complete an Advanced Education in General Dentistry at the VA in Temple, Texas which allowed him to receive advanced training in implants, surgery, IV Sedation, sleep apnea, and complex restorative dentistry.
Dr. Winneberger prides himself on delivering high-quality dentistry, as well as developing long-lasting and trusting relationships with his patients and his amazing team. In order to better serve his patients, he continues to take extensive continuing education, including but not limited to:
I first got into dentistry through mission trips with the goal to help others become healthier and happier, and I couldnt be more fulfilled than to make that happen here with our excellent family at Atlantic Dental Group. I take pride in my work, I love working with my team, and when the end result is a happy and smiling patient thats what motivates me each and every day!
Dr. Winneberger is excited to be home and practice near the beach. Some of his favorite hobbies include surfing, snowboarding, golf, traveling, hunting, beach volleyball, and enjoying time with friends and family. He also has an extremely well-trained Pug named Lilo.

I had an emergency appointment that was necessary and although you might have appeared minor to some Dr. Lee saw me immediately as requested and took care of the problem. This has to be by far the greatest dentist office that I've experienced in a long time. Thank you so much for your patience and a wonderful care that I received when I come there.

I've been going to Atlantic Dental Group for at least 10 years and I enjoy it every time. This past visit I took my 3 year old son for his first appointment and it was so much fun! Hannah, our hygienist, was amazing, friendly and accommodating. Dr. Frazelle is always a delight, a very kind family man. I couldn't have imagined a better experience for my son and he woke up wanting to brush his teeth! Oh yes and the front office staff have always been and continue to be very friendly and helpful.

Dr. Lee and his entire staff are friendly, professional and very helpful. They give you options to fit your budget, and the front desk staff assist in anyway with insurance questions. I highly recommend this practice for anyone looking for great service and professional care!

I was pleasantly surprised at how friendly and knowledgeable the staff is. They sent me the paperwork in advance, once I was there they only did what I wanted them to do and actually told me that I didn't need fillings that another dentist said I did. I really liked all of the people there but mainly delt with Kara and she is a real pleasure. I will definately be getting all my dental work done here in the future.

This was not my first visit to this office. I was a patient in this dental practice from 2004 until I moved in 2014. The office staff from front desk to the final flossing are kind, gentle and extremely professional. Dr Lee of course, is open, sincere and very easy to talk to. He spends time and energy to discuss your dental needs. On my return visit in 2022, much of the same staff was still giving their professional best. It was a joy to return to a calm, inviting dental practice who still remembered me after all those years. Again there is a gentle vib in that place that money just can't buy.
