Dr. Frederick Allen Williams DMD, PA Dr. Williams has been serving Shallotte and the surrounding areas for over 15 years. Growing up in Robeson County he would travel here with his family and it fostered his idea to live in this area. He graduated from UNC Chapel Hill with a major in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. While studying he was involved in the Teacher's Assistant Program which allowed him to teach laboratory classes such as Anatomy and Physiology, Quantitative Chemistry and Organic Chemistry. When choosing a dental school he selected Boston University, where he graduated in the top 5% of his class. Dr. Williams is a member of multiple dental organizations including The Academy of General & Cosmetic Dentistry, The Grand Strand Dental Society and North Carolinas 5th District Dental Society. To be involved with his community Dr. Williams is currently the dental representative for the BC Board of Health. He has served as Chairman on the BCC Foundation Board and now serves as a Board of Trustees Member for Brunswick Community College. He has been a member of the Holden Beach Board of Adjustment and a member of the Holden Beach Renourishment Program. He is a member of the Shallotte Rotary Club. Outside of dentistry Dr. Williams enjoys the many outdoor activities this area has to offer. He is a member of the Holden Beach Chapel and most importantly a father to 2 beautiful children. Dr. Ethan Caudell DMD Dr. Caudell is a native of Saint Pauls, NC. He attended East Carolina University for undergrad where he was a member of the inaugural Honors College class and majored in Biology and minored in Business Management in 2014. He then attended East Carolina University School of Dental Medicine where he obtained his Doctorate of Dental Medicine in 2018. Dr. Caudell recently moved to the area upon graduating. His family grew up spending their summer days and weekends in Brunswick County where he dreamed of one day working and serving the community. Dr. Caudell enjoys playing and watching sports, boating, the beach, and many more outdoor activities in his free time with his family and friends. He also enjoys playing with and training his two Chesapeake Bay retrievers in his off time. Dr. Caudell remains current and up to date with the latest developments in dentistry. He enjoys meeting all his patients and making a personal bond with them to ensure the highest quality of care and experience possible.

Michelle Linnartz RDH Michelle grew up in Wilmington, North Carolina. She received her degree in dental hygiene from Coastal Carolina Community College in 1994 and has been with our office ever since. She feels that with twenty plus years in the same office it has given her the opportunity to know her patients and watch their families grow. Michelle enjoys spending time with her dogs and family.

Kristi Hardee DA Kristi was born and raised in Brunswick County. She currently lives in Sunset Beach with her husband Brandon and daughter Gray. She received her dental assisting degree at Cape Fear Community College in Wilmington, NC. Kristi enjoys being on the water, spending time with family, and making people smile.

She worked for seven years at Autumn Care as the medical records secretary, and then came to join our team fifteen years ago. Betty enjoys her grandchildren, gardening and cooking. She loves to try new recipes on her fellow employees!

Carla Stocks DA Carla is a native of Columbus County, growing up in the Crusoe Community. She began her career in dentistry as an assistant in 1996. Carla has been a part of our team since 2006. For her the best part of the job is seeing the smiles that we help restore and getting to know our patients and treating them like family.

Highly recommend Atlantic Dental, with very professional, warm and friendly staff. The experience one has from the moment you walk in is that you are in very capable and caring hands, everything from insurance to procedure is clearly explained and you are made to be totally comfortable. The skilled quality of care is one of the best we have experienced.

This was my first vacation in six years with my family to Holden Beach. The first day we arrived, I broke my tooth. The next day I called two dental offices who seemed to care less. I called North Atlantic and they got me in right away. Dr. Williams was very professional and honest. He offered to send my dentist back in Ohio pictures. With that being said, my dentist at home told me to get it fixed. With a busy schedule, Dr. Williams wanted to make sure that my family vacation would still be a success. In a matter of a few hours I had a crown that looked amazing. He was so precise and the state of the art equipment allowed me to be back on the beach smiling with my family. From start to finish, the staff was so friendly. I felt as if I had been going here for years. If you live in this area and this is not your dentist, I recommend you to give them a call. Thank you Dr. Williams and staff.

I highly recommend, the staff and dentist are very kind and understanding. I haven't been to the dentist been a really long time being a young widowed mom I neglected my teeth. They were so nice , let me know right away to to feel embarrassed, can came up with a game plan to get my teeth and gums back to Healthy shape again.

From the moment you walk into Atlantic Dental, you feel a warm, friendly and professional atmosphere. The entire staff are professional and caring. From my complete X-Rays which Lanie and Crystal did an exceptional job to Michelle, the Dental Hygienist who did a phenomenal job cleaning my teeth, I felt comfortable and that I was receiving Top-Notch care! With each step of the process, the staff shares with you what they are doing. Dr. Williams is warm, caring and has years of professional expertise. He has built a full service practice with attention to detail and when he comes in to see you, he gives you his full attention. You feel confident that your partner in your Dental Care is providing you with professional, up to date technology and values you as a person/patient. I cannot say enough about the quality of care you receive from Dr. Williams and staff. (I had the same dentist for 30 years in Atlanta and Dr. Williams will be my dentist forever.) I have been a patient here for 2 years, this Christmas I broke a tooth. Since I had just cancelled my dental insurance the day before I was desperate to get an appointment before my insurance stopped on 12/31. Well, not only did I get ONE, I got a SECOND and a complete CROWN before the 28th! I almost feel the Dr. came in one day JUST for ME! WHAT other office would do that? Thank you to ALL at Atlantic Dental!

Amazing staff! I was on vacation and had a problem with a recent root canal. They got me in right away, took an x-ray, and gave me an antibiotic for infection. I was back on the beach right away!
