Dr. Doug Depew has maintained a thriving orthodontic practice in Cobb County, Georgia since 1990. In 2018 he acquired the Atlanta practice that emphasizes esthetic orthodontic treatment, as well as more complicated types of care. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Georgia. He received his dental degree from the Medical College of Georgia where he graduated at the top of his class. His certificate in orthodontics and masters degree was earned from Baylor College of Dentistry at Baylor University. His pursuit of excellence is exemplified by numerous achievements and awards.
Dr. Depew and his wife, Vicki, have three wonderful children, Andrew, Ashley and Ryan and six incredible grandchildren. And in his spare time, he enjoys working with his horses, computers and various outdoor activities.
Dr. Depew is also the founder and Academic Director ofTrapezio, which provides formal training for orthodontic staff members. This innovative program which is conducted online and through hands-on clinical sessions is endorsed by the American Association of Orthodontists and is recognized internationally as the standard for training and certification of orthodontic staff members. As the program creator, Dr. Depew is frequently invited to speak at professional meetings around the country and overseas.
Besides being a sought after lecturer, Dr. Depew takes two to three times the required hours of continuing education each year. He is an active member in of the American Association of Orthodontists, the Southern Association of Orthodontists, and the Georgia Association of Orthodontists, the American Lingual Orthodontic Association, the Spear Dental Study Club, and the Elite Lingual Orthodontic Society.
Dr. Mariesa Moore grew up in the greater Atlanta area and attended The University of Georgia for her undergraduate degree where she double majored in Biology and Psychology. She went on to attend Augusta Universitys Dental College of Georgia (formerly Medical College of Georgia) where she obtained her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree and specialized in Orthodontics. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics as well as a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association and the Georgia Association of Orthodontists.
Dr. Moore is a devoted UGA fan and loves to head back to Athens whenever possible to cheer on the georgia bulldogs! A few of her hobbies include traveling and outdoor activities including kayaking and playing tennis. She also enjoys spending time with her family, friends and Weimaraner dog Raven!

My son had issues with his braces and we were from out of town. The staff was awesome and very accommodating. Sally was very helpful in fixing his issue. We highly recommend Atlantic Orthodontic!

I have to give Dr. Moore, Kim, Sally, Jessie, Elias, and Erica, a great review I don't know who is the owner of this Orthodontist location but your workers are hard, smart, and fast workers. There all Together, working to get me the ~Great Canine Smile~ that I want. Just today 2/14/2021 I went to my dated appointment as usual and they left me with a Smile As Usual. And my heart was so Grateful that I had to leave a review and also pay off what I owe the same day 2,408.88 For There Great And Awesome Work. Always Appreciated. (I hope the owner of this Altanta Orthodontist Arts) see's this. And let them know how much He or She appreciates them. As in Give Them A Raise.

I have been working with Kim and the team here since March last year and couldn't be more pleased to have them as my orthodontic team. They have worked with me during a time when I've had major health issues crop up and being incredibly understanding, even when said issues caused setback after setback in my treatment. It's been a lovely 1 year and 5 months with the BEST team. I started with braces on my lower teeth then transitioned to Invisalign. This entire journey has been seamless, easy, and exciting all thanks to Dr. Moore, Kim, Sally, Elias, and Jessie. I always look forward to stepping away from work to see everyone in the office. My experience at AOA has been nothing short of amazing. Truthfully, orthodontic treatment as a young adult wasn't on my radar but I'm thankful that the team at AOA has the skill and expertise to provide the care I needed. Dr. Moore, Kim, Sally, Jessie, Elias and Bre are exceptional clinicians and I would recommend AOA to anyone in need of orthodontic care!

If you are looking for people to truly care about you and your experience this is the place to be! Jessie and Sally pride themselves on fantastic results with the minimum amount of torture. I can tell they feel really terrible when they have to tighten my braces. Both beautiful humans and I wouldn't trust anyone else to dot it. Elias gives the upmost care when taking x-rays and photos. Kim is a ray of sunshine. Dr. M is outshines all other orthodontist. It's a tough job and braces are not fun, but I always look forward to seeing these people. They are the only reason I'll be sad when my braces come off. If your friend suggests another office to get your braces tell them no way and find a better friend, the run don't walk to Atlanta orthodontic arts! Tell them Amy sent you, and don't tell them what I said.

My family loves the team at AOA---Dr. Moore, Kim, Sally, Jessie and Elias are super-friendly and always make my kids and I feel at home--and all 3 of us are patients. They are good at explaining what is happening....and why we need to wear our rubber bands! Most importantly we are very pleased with the work they have done.

I have been a patient of Atlanta Orthodontics Arts since August 2021. I must say that my experience has been the best service that I had experienced in a while. I have visited other Orthodontist offices in the Atlanta area in the past and none have been compared to Atlanta Orthodontics Arts. Dr.Moore affectionally known as Dr.M is a doctor that knows her craft. The service with her and her staff has been nothing less than amazing and superb. You are greeted by the receptionist with a warm welcome and a big smile. Staff members Elias, Kim, Jessie, Sally and Brenda are all very professional and a joy to see each time I visit. They too greet you with a smile and turn fear of being at the dentist into lots of laughter and fun almost as if we have known of each other for years. A staff that is relational should be the example set for all dentistry experiences. What an amazing experience I had yesterday as I visited Atlanta Orthodontic Arts. Dr. Depew and his staff made the experience of getting braces a calm and comfortable one. Every step of the way was a pleasure. The staff was so helpful and considerate of my time. Dr. Depew met me within just a couple of minutes of me arriving. He introduced me to Kim and she stayed with me during the duration of my visit. She walked me through the process and made sure I was comfortable and at ease. Jessie, Dr. Depew's assistant was knowledgeable and so accommodating. She let me know every move she was making so I knew exactly what was coming and when. She also made sure I understood how to care for my teeth now that I had braces on. This office is beautiful, clean, and inviting. They use the latest technology to show you exactly what is going on with your case and how they plan to fix any issue. They are also following strict Covid-19 protocols. I am excited to see my results in 12 to 18 months. I am so glad I chose Dr. Depew as my orthodontist.
