Just recently I had to have a tooth extracted and an implant. The front office staff was great and professional. The surgical team was outstanding they took their time to explain to me more about the procedure, answer any questions I had and calm my nerves. Dr. Bankston is the best, he treated me like I was his only patient, took time to explain the procedure and does awesome work. I would highly recommend the AOFS team!!!

Doctor Bankston and staff are awesome!!! They have been amazing with my dental implant procedure and made me feel very comfortable as its nerve-racking to have an implant in the front tooth especially. Definitely recommend!

Dr. Bankston was very professional, he took the time to understand my specific situation, answered all my questions and put me at ease with the overall procedure. The extraction went without a hitch I was out of there before I knew it , no pain and a tremendous pain free recovery. Thank you to the whole staff for squeezing me in on short notice for this emergency extraction, I will definitely be recommending your facility!

He is board certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. Upon completion of his formal education, he decided to return home to Ga.. He joined Dunwoody Oral & Facial Surgery in June 1999.

Had the most amazing experience with Atlanta Oral & Facial surgery in Johns Creek. My son had to have all 4 wisdom teeth removed and was terrified. This was his first medical procedure ever and really was dreading the whole process. Dr. Belinfante was so great with him. He explained every detail and joked along the way. He really put BOTH of us at ease and I knew my boy was in great hands. The entire staff was so friendly and empathetic to each and every concern. Dr. Belinfante was very patient and thorough when walking me through follow up care and personally called to follow up the next day. I cannot say enough good things about this doctor and his staff. My family highly recommends this team for all oral and facial surgery needs- 5 stars without hesitation!!

AOFS and Dr. Belinfante are absolutely great! Exceptional care from start to finish! The staff took the time to explain everything very thoroughly and checked if we had any questions. Dr. Belinfante was wonderful and even called personally to check on my sons the day after surgery. I couldn't ask for any better than the care we got going to AOFS!

Dr. Belinfante is the best! Took me in quickly when I was in a lot of pain and extracted my bad tooth quickly and with no pain or discomfort. His staff was fantastic as well. Thank you all so much for taking great care of me in a pinch. Im grateful to have found you.

If I can give a negative number I would. My doctor was good. But the front staffing was a mess. Not only did they get my insurance mulitple times before my first appointment, they charge an examination fee that I should not have got charged because they did not check my insurance which I gave when I setup initial appointment. Put in my new patient paperwork and the day of initial appointment. I waited for the claim to be processed on my insurance end. I called the office to talk about the reimbursement since I was told the reimbursement is needed on the dental practice end they stated that it could not be done and asked to escalate to a manager. They stated the manager was busy and they would give me a call back. I never got a call back from Melissa the Manager. I called delta dental and asked about the claim and they stated they since the reimbursement within 2 days of the visit. I called them 3 weeks after my appointment and asked for the refund they stated they have to receive the refund from the insurnacr before issuing my refund, but I was told they already sent the refund weeks ago. They have still yet to reimbusrse me and the promise the manager Melissa will contact me. It has been over a month since someone contacted me and reimbursed me my money. These people are frauds and take money and never give it back. They are the worst people. They will not contact me and they keep promising. I am going to file a grievance and report you guys to the board. This is the worst practice the fact you are stealing my money and not refunding me and keeping money that insurance gave to you for my claim.... this is fraudulent . Don't bother making amends I've given you over a month to contact me back k and you have yet to contact me on why you have yet to work with me.

Wow, wow, wow. Great people, easy procedure, flawless recovery. I was SO nervous as an adult to have all four wisdom teeth removed in my first experience with anything surgical or anesthesia, and they immediately assuaged my fears. Highly, highly recommend! Thank you Dr. Labanc and team!

I recently had my wisdom tooth removed about a week ago. I came in with extreme pain due to a decayed wisdom tooth . Now I have to say that the surgery by Dr. Jo was very quick and the attending assistants were too. It's like second nature to them but I wish there was some debriefing before/after the surgery seeing as it was supposed to take 45 instead of like 25 minutes. However I gave them two stars because of the pain after the surgery. The pain was so bad I cried and I barely ate. And in my view, my post op pain was dismissed because i finished my meds 5 days after and wrote off due to the staff being on vacation. It took me crying and my mom talking to the coordinator that i see someone to see me for my pain management. But I ended up not going because i couldn't afford it on my own. I would've thought in case of a problem ( dry sockets, infection, etc) it wouldn't be so hard to see somebody but they don't see it that way. Though this is my first surgery I also thought I would get a follow up after the surgery to see that my sockets are healing properly but no. If you're looking for quick, dry, and to the point, this is your place. Unfortunately for me, the quality of patient care was cruel and left to be desired.

The two stars are only for the front desk receptionist Emily and the nurses that assisted Dr Jo (not Dr Jo himself). This company lacks communication on every level. When you're in pain and need all 4 wisdom teeth out and then "delete your insurance information" and tell you you have to pay upfront or reschedule, that is beyond unprofessional. They also told me I could call back with my insurance information and after they didn't answer, I left a voicemail saying I had it but still they never called back. They told me they would call my insurance and call back in 2 days to go over my total and never did. The day before my surgery I called them to make sure it went through and they told me they never called because they didn't have a phone number, after I provided one already. Are you really telling me you couldn't call me to ask for the information, considering it was your error that you deleted it in the first place?Furthermore, I'm in Athens and they never let me know I could only fill my prescription in Atlanta. You would think after a painful surgery they would make sure you know how to get your prescriptions filled. No apologies, no remorse for any of their errors and how difficult they made this process. No, I would not recommend going here. Miss Emily at the front desk and the two nurses who assisted with my surgery were beyond lovely and should consider moving to a practice that would better compliment their talents.

Huge props to Dr. LaBanc and his team, my wisdom teeth extraction was done in less than 30 minutes! He talked through what he was doing the entire time, he and his assistants displayed great communication skills and professionalism. The post-op instruction I received were very detailed and helpful. This place is the truth if you need to get work done go here, they gotchu for sure!

Dr Jo was not very personable and seemed very rushed when performing my consultation. I was looking forward to getting my appointment set up to get my wisdom teeth out as I have been going out of my way to make sure I'm caring for my teeth and looking after my care but he was very nonchalant on the surgery. I am also a healthcare provider and understand that the dentist can get busy. It just struck me the wrong way with how little he seemed to care about me ,his patient, as I would have had to trust him with performing a surgery on me. Due to this I chose to seek other oral surgeons to perform the surgery for me.

The staff is polite, but not on point. We were not given the aftercare materials in a timely manner. The prescriptions were not written until after surgery so we were not able to get the medicine while my friend was out of surgery, which meant she had to wait for the anti-nausea medicine for an additional 20 minutes to get to the pharmacy and have it filled. We should have been able to fill it while she was in surgery and they should have called it in for us. They also were very difficult about working with the insurance and were not at all communicative during the process, making it take several weeks longer to get processed and scheduled. Coming back to edit: it is about two months later and now my friend received a bill because they mixed up her insurance, despite having other visits covered by her insurance, they claim she doesn't have that company in her file. This is very unprofessional and shows a lack of patient information handling that is pretty concerning.

Dr. Chris Jo and his team were phenomenal! I was absolutely terrified and nervous about getting all four of my wisdom teeth out but whole procedure was extremely quick and painless. I haven't had any severe pain or swelling and like another review said, any slight pain was gone with the prescribed medication. Again, highly recommend Dr. Jo and his team, can't thank them enough!

Dr. Jo is a magician. I have very high anxiety about dental work. So much so that I requested to be sedated for a single wisdom tooth extraction which I put off for years. Dr. Jo answered all my questions patiently and made me feel at ease. The day of the surgery everything went well and fast. He performed my wisdom tooth extraction without the use of any stitches and everything healed so well. I only had to use Ibuprofen for the pain for the first few days. I had very little swelling. I have 0 complaints. AOFS also charged a third compared to some other oral surgeons I consulted prior to going to this.
