Dr. Paul Freeman and every member of our team cares for the environment by making sure that our office recycles whenever possible and by making it a point to use products that are recycled or recyclable.
We also make use of environmentally friendly technology, such as composite dental fillings that contain no mercury or other materials that are potentially harmful to you or the planet. When we remove amalgam fillings, we always dispose of them properly. Our digital-x-rays use less radiation than the traditional variety and require no chemicals to develop. Because they are stored and viewed and shared electronically, they do not need to be printed, reducing our carbon footprint even further.
Paul Freeman, DDS Dr. Paul Freeman is a leading general and cosmetic dentist at Atlanta Dentistry by Design and serves patients from in and around Atlanta, Georgia. He provides a wide variety of dental services to his patients, including regular checkups, professional cleanings, fillings, bridges, crowns, CEREC one-day crowns, veneers, dental implants, endodontic treatments, root canals, tooth extraction, oral surgery and orthodontics.
Dr. Freeman is a native of Memphis, Tennessee, and a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley, where he graduated with honors in psychology. He went on to obtain his Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. Dr. Freeman has been in private practice in Atlanta for over 15 years and has special interests in the application of advanced technology in dentistry. He is a past faculty member of the CEREC Institute in Scottsdale, Arizona, where he taught other dentists in the use of CAD/CAM technology. He is also a member of the American Dental Association, the Hinman Dental Society and the Georgia Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. In the past five years, Dr. Freeman has taken over 10 times the required amount of continuing education in order to provide his patients the best dental care available and to stay at the forefront of technological advancement in his profession.
Dr. Freemans goal is to offer the finest dental care in a respectful and friendly environment. He is an advocate of preventive care and total wellness through educating his community about the relationship between dental conditions and overall health. He resides in Atlanta with his wife, Michelle, and his fur baby. When not attending dental-related functions and courses, Dr. Freeman enjoys time on the golf course with his daughter. Dr. Freeman is also an avid supporter of Childrens Healthcare and MUST Ministries of Cobb.
Dr. Wendy Cardenas, DMD Originally from Powder Springs, Georgia, Dr. Cardenas studied at the University of Georgia in Athens, where she earned her bachelors degree in nutrition science. She went on to earn a masters degree in microbiology from Georgia State University and received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree (DMD) from the Medical College of Georgia (now known as Georgia Regents University) in Augusta. Upon graduation from dental school, Dr. Cardenas completed a one-year residency in Bangor, Maine, where she received further training in all aspects of general dentistry, including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, implants and orthodontics. Most recently, Dr. Cardenas worked in a pediatric dental practice in Marietta, Georgia.

This place came recommended by a Dr. family member. I have never had a more pleasant experience, from the drive there, the parking was easy, they were welcoming and warm, Suzanne, Dr. Wendy, Jamie, and everyone else was SPECTACULAR. I literally have an abundance of good things to say and not enough room. I am new-ish to the Atlanta area and this was my first dental cleaning since Covid. I was treated like they had known me for ever. Again, THE BEST, kind, gentle, CLEAN! Omg so clean, we didn't wait long, the coffee, the lip balm all of it. Just DIVINE. Thank you again!

Vaniya is the bomb dot com. I went to see Dr. Wendy because I had some staining that would not go away with flossing, whitening, and brushing. I asked if I could try the in-office whitening. When I got to the office Dr. Wendy recommended that I get a cleaning first with Vaniya. Literally the best cleaning I have ever had at a dental office that I didn't even need to do the whitening. If you are not satisfied with your results at other dental offices, I recommend giving Atlanta Dentistry By Design a shot! You will not regret it! Thank you, Dr. Wendy and Vaniya :)

Every visit to ADBD is just as pleasant as the last. The atmosphere in the office is very welcoming to say the least, and the entire staff is great. Jamie and Dr. Cardenas are top tier in patient care and definitely help deter any bad ideas about visiting the dentist. Out of all the dentist offices I've been to in my years, ADBD is absolutely second to none! Highly recommend to any in all in the Atlanta area!

My husband and I, and a couple of friends we've referred, have been going to Doctor Freeman for a few years now. All of us don't have insurance and are self payers. Everyone who works there is super nice, it's extremely easy to make an appointment, and I've had a great experience every time.

I have been coming here for years and I'm always making a point to send others here. I don't think I have ever enjoyed going to the dentist but I sincerely enjoy my appointments here. Parking is a breeze, the office is clean and inviting and the staff are wonderful. The hygienist make it a low-impact experience because they are great at what they do. The staff are helpful, genuine and knowledgable. Truly the best dental experience in Atlanta!

I was recommended this dentist by a friend when I moved to Atlanta and have been so pleased with the care and service from every single person on the staff. I am fearful of teeth cleaning, and they have made every visit better than I have ever experienced before. I had gone some time without dental care during covid and they helped me get my teeth back on track with deep cleaning and restored my gum health. Michelle and the entire team are fantastic. Would highly recommend!!
