There is a different mindset in aesthetic dentistry. In the general dentistry, there is a fix it mentality. A tooth is brokenthe dentist repairs it. Theres a cavitythe dentist fills it. The fix it tasks in dentistry can call for an authoritarian approach, and this approach is inculcated into dentists in dental school. The dentist knows best what works and what holds up over time, and little input is needed from the patient.

In aesthetic dentistry the dentist is creating and designing, which is a very different task from repairing. For this task, the authoritarian approach needs to be replaced with a listening approach. How do you feel about your smile? How white do you want your teeth? The dentist is treating your self-perception, and everything needs to be geared toward creating a smile that will give you confidence.

This is why some dentists, who may be excellent clinicians, are simply not very good at aesthetic dentistry. This artistic, listening approach is not common in dentistry. Some dentists, however, become passionate about appearance-related dentistry. We are those kinds of dentists. Everything we do is built around you and how you feel.

Dr. Debra Gray King passed the accreditation examinations of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD) in 1995, and went on to earn her fellowship in that Academy in 1999. AACD Fellowship is recognized as the highest level of competence in cosmetic dentistry, and there are only 88 dentists in the world who have earned this distinction.

Dr. Charles C. Cooper received a B.A. with honors in Science Education at Mississippi State University, a Doctor of Medical Dentistry degree at the University of Mississippi School of Dentistry, and performed a General Practice Residency Program at the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry.

Brett C. Reeve DDS graduated with honors from Brigham Young University where he combined studies of Science and Spanish. He then went on to study Dentistry at the University of Southern California where he earned a membership to Omicron Kappa Upsilon. Following graduation, Dr. Reeve served as a Captain in the United States Air Force for four years.

Jennifer Bisig graduated from the University of Alabama Birmingham Dental School in 2004. She moved to Atlanta in 2005 and began her career at the ACCD in early 2006. After meeting her husband, she moved to Cumming, GA where she practiced for 11 years.

Jamie has a passion for developing people, her mission is to positively impact their professional life in a way that also enhances their personal life. She started out over 40 years ago as a dental assistant, went on to obtain her dental hygiene license and 20 years ago started her own dental consulting business. She is now honored to hold the position of CEO at ACCD where she has experienced her greatest professional fulfillment. Jamie lives on a cattle farm with her husband, they have two grown sons and three grandchildren.

Jessika recently moved to Atlanta from Thomasville, Ga. She has been in the cosmetic dental industry for over 8 years, and really thrives in helping patients achieve their health goals. She enjoys playing tennis and going on hikes with her friends.

A Florida girl at heart, Angela now calls Georgia home. With over 20 years of Cosmetic experience, she enjoys working closely with each patient to help them achieve their smile goals. The most rewarding part of my job is seeing how happy our patients are and what a truly life changing experience it is. Outside of work, Angela enjoys going to the gym, gardening, cooking and spending time with her family.

Originally from Florida, Kimberly has called Atlanta home since 2010. She brings over 10 years of experience helping patients achieve their health and cosmetic goals. Her favorite part of working in the medical field is building long-lasting connections with patients and guiding them throughout their transformation journey. Kimberly enjoys hiking, yoga, and spending time with her family.

Tiffani is a Georgia native and grew up in McDonough. She is mom to a Frenchie named Frankie and enjoys being social, trying new restaurants, and hanging with family. She joined the Atlanta Center for Cosmetic Dentistry in 2013. Her favorite thing about working with our patients is being able to see their smile transformations from start to finish. She says that when she sees the joy that a new smile can bring to them, it literally brings tears to her eyes.

A Georgia native, Beccas favorite part of her job is being part of someones journey to self-confidence through their smile. She has been a part of the ACCD team since 2013 and has loved being able to develop relationships with her patients and getting to know more about them and what makes them who they are. She loves spending time with family and friends, lake days, Passion City Church, trying new restaurants, and of course her mini doodle, Alvin.

Dorina has over 16 years of dental experience and has been with our practice since 2012. She recently took her career to the next level by earning her hygiene license. Dorina is our rock star dental assistant turned into rock star dental hygienist! Her favorite part of working with patients is spending one-on-one time and connecting with them. Helping my patients become healthier and boosting their confidence by giving them back their healthy smile is priceless to me. But most of all I feel privileged to be a part of their lives. In her spare time, Dorina loves shopping, traveling and working out. She is happily engaged and soon to be married to her long-term boyfriend Radi.

Watching the smile transformation and the newfound confidence our patients have is by far the most rewarding thing about working with patients! I also enjoy being able to provide excellent customer service. It is a nice feeling to know that you can help put a nervous patients mind at ease and help them actually look forward to coming to see us. When Jenna is not working she enjoys weekend trips to Savannah to see her two nephews, lounging by the pool, spending time with friends and family, and loving on her two Cavaliers, Lady Savannah and Bubba Watson.

Kate moved to the Atlanta area from Tuscaloosa, AL, to pursue a career in organizational communication. The best part of her job is helping the ACCD team provide the best experience for patients from the very first call. When she is not in the office, Kate loves to go on long road trips, host dinner parties, and cheer on the Crimson Tide!

Originally from South Carolina, Shanola has more than 10 years of dental experience. Her favorite part of working at ACCD is the opportunity to give her patients genuine, loving care and aiding them in making their dental care decisions. She is a mother to her two sons which are her biggest accomplishments. When Shanola is not at work, you can find her spending time with family, or at the gym or beach!

Lizeth was born in Columbia, speaks Spanish, Portuguese, and English. She loves to travel around the world, sleeping, and hanging out with her nieces and nephews. Lizeths favorite part about working with patients is seeing their smile transformation. She loves to see the patients happy and smiling all the time.

Sam grew up in Atlanta and has been an Expanded Function Dental Assistant for three years. Her favorite part of working at ACCD is seeing the results that cosmetic dentistry can create for her patients. Outside of the office, Sam enjoys trying new recipes, working out, and traveling. She values her faith, her family, and her friends.

Kayla has been in the dental field for seven years. After, a bicycle accident as a young child, Kayla had to have a lot of cosmetic work done to her two front teeth. Thats what pushed her into the dental field. Kayla wants to help others achieve the beautiful smile they have always wanted. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband, three sons, and their puppy Gracie. With three boys, Kayla spends most of her time being their biggest fan in basketball, baseball, football, and soccer!

Elizabeth has been a dental assistant for 17 years and has spent the last 12 years focused on Cosmetic Dentistry. She loves helping her patients transform their smile into the smile of their dreams. In her spare time, she enjoys watching her son play baseball and going to her daughters cheerleading events.

With over 8 years at ACCD, Estefania loves her job because she is able to help all around the office and work with an incredible team of ladies. She has two daughters with her high school sweetheart, and loves spending her free time doing activities with her family.
