Fabiana has been working in the dental field since 1987 and for Atkins Dentistry since 2005. She started out as Dr. Atkins certified dental assistant and has since move to the practice manager position in 2014.
Jamie is a native of North Carolina. She obtained her BA from UNC-W in parks and recreation. In 2003, decided to return to college and obtain her degree in dental hygiene . Jamie has been with Dr. Atkins since 2004 and enjoys helping patients with their oral health in a relaxed and caring atmosphere.
Michele is a Certified Dental Assistant, our office coordinator and mother of two boys. She has been in the dental field since 1988 and understands that the patient is the single most valuable part of a dental practice.
Nikki is a native North Carolinian and resides in Apex, North Carolina with her little boy, Ethan. Nikki brings eleven years of Dental Assistant experience to our office. Nikki loves her job and the interaction with her patients. As a Dental Assistant, she takes pride in getting to know her patients and having the opportunity to take care of everyone while making the dental experience as comfortable as possible. In her free time Nikki enjoys spending time with friends and watching her son play soccer.
Dr. Jerre L Kennedy is a native of Goldsboro, North Carolina. She attended UNC-Chapel Hill for both undergraduate and graduate school. After graduating from UNC-CH School of Dentistry with her DDS degree in 1986 she completed a two-year general practice residency program in oral medicine affiliated with UNC Hospitals and the VA Hospital system.
Latrice is a native North Carolina girl, who currently lives in Cary with her husband Ricky, daughter Emery, and their cat and dog. Prior to becoming a Dental Hygienist, Latrice attended NC State University where she obtained her Bachelors Degree in Food Science and Nutrition. She then continued her education at the University of North Carolina, earning her degree in Dental Hygiene. Latrice has over five years of experience working with patients requiring special needs care, and believes in the importance of individualized patient care. Her patients would describe her as thorough, gentle and personable.
Dawn is originally from Rochester, NY but has called Holly Springs, NC home for the past 11 years with her husband Tom and grown children, Jillian and JT. Dawn brought over 20 years of office and project management experience when she joined our team. Her background in both large and small dental offices as well as retail provides her with the understanding of the importance of making the non-clinical portion of the dental experience as stress free as possible. She attended both Monroe Community College as well as Wake Technical College where she received her Associates Degree. In her free time Dawn enjoys running, traveling and attending shows and performances of the Fine Arts.
My wife and I chose Chatham country to build a home because of its rural setting as well as its accessibility to the urban centers in the triangle. We have come to enjoy the lifestyle and the warmth of the people has provided us a special and unique environment in which to raise our three children. It seemed a natural courses of events that I establish another part of my professional practice in the community that we already has such an attachment.
After graduation from UNC, Dr. Atkins joined the US Navy Dental Corps. The navy provided this and more as he had a tour of duty on both coasts and a short-term overseas. The experience hailed in navy dentistry was one of a kind.
When I was searching for a vocation in which to devote my life, I wanted one that would give me a great sense of personal satisfaction, one in which I could genuinely help people and that would challenge me physically as well as mentally. Dentistry has fulfilled all my expectations.

No pain, lots of gain. Dr. Atkins and assistant Mr. Tony are gentle and competent. I drive 35 highway minutes each way to make sure I receive their expert and congenial work. Office staff deserve kudos too.

Everyone was so kind and pleasant. Jamie, the hygienist who cleaned my teeth, was so sweet! She paid attention to my concerns about sensitivity and did her best to address them.

I highly recommend Atkins Dentistry. Knowledgeable and caring staff who really make the difference and that I trust Dr. Atkins is very skilled and answers any questions wonderfully. I had not great experiences at other dentists, and was so happy to have found Dr. Atkins' office several years ago.

Dr. Atkins has been my dentist for almost 25 years. Always been pleased with his services. He takes time to show and explain in detail what is the issue and his strategy and justification for the treatment solution proposal. Highly recommend him. His hygienists are also top notch.

Went here since childhood and they were great. Came back as an adult with new insurance and was told it was in network, which turned out to be incorrect and was charged for the appointment. Make sure they are in network, regardless of what they say, before scheduling your appointment.

Dr.@Atkins office never disappoints in their attention to detail. From cleaning, to mouth molds for whitening ,and preventative X-rays, they take their time to insure the best care possible. Thank you isn't quite the words.

I've been going to Atkins dentistry for a year, after not going to a dentist for 13 years. Dianne is my hygienist. She is very patient and thorough. Dr. Atkins is very kind and honest. The self pay pricing is affordable. The front office staff is caring and friendly. They make you feel like family when you are there.

Dr. Kevin has been my dentist for over 20 years. I have had a few emergency issues and Dr. Atkins fit me in and fixed the problems. (Thank you) I love my hygienist and the office staff is great to work with. I guess the thing I like best is if he sees something on the x-ray, he will not just jump in and start drilling, he will monitor it and do the repair in the future if and when needed. As a young adult, I had a dentist do fillings on my front teeth because they thought they saw decay. I have had nothing but trouble with those chipping and cracking. Dr. Atkins repaired them correctly and I no longer have any issues.
